Appalling customer service! I tried on some clothes in the changeroom and a beeper fell off a pair of shorts, when I came out of the changeroom the girl says to me "can I check all the clothes coz I saw the beeper fall on the floor" to which I obliged and said to her that there was still another beeper on the shorts and don't know how the other beeper fell off. Every item of clothing I tried on still had beepers on them, some even had two, which to me is a bit extreme. She then asked to check my bag, implying that I had stolen something. My bag was quite small, hardly big enough to stash any clothes inside. I was then followed to near the checkout area, as I was looking at shoes and could hear her telling the checkout girls to keep an eye on me as she assumed I was trying to steal! I should have left the store then and there, but instead spent $271 after being treated like a criminal, a big mistake that was, as after I got home I noticed on the back of a pair of shorts I had purchased that there was a huge hole from where the beeper was removed. I didn't realise at the time, but wondered why the checkout girl had given me a funny look when she was removing the beeper, so she obviously knew what she had done and hoped I didn't notice and was knowingly dishonest and sold me a damaged item due to her own carelessness! Which wouldn't have been a problem if they weren't a $50 pair of shorts, so not exactly something you want damaged before you even get to wear them! I had to repurchase the shorts online, as I had bought the last size 8, so what should have been a simple purchase, has turned into an inconvenience due to the careless idiots they have working there. I hope I am able to get a refund for the damaged shorts, as I have heard this certain store only likes to give exchanges or store credit, which by the way is against their policy according to the city beach website. I have made a formal complaint about this, so hopefully this certain store gets the proper training on how to treat customers and have some common sense and not damage the clothing before you can even get to wear it! My tip is to avoid this store and save yourself the hassle and just shop online! They have poor customer service and are rude! And the staff are obviously careless and don't care if the items you buy are damaged or not. There's also not enough checkouts open and the staff just stand around doing sweet fa talking amongst themselves whilst you stand there like an idiot waiting to get served.

Staff are there but customer service is non-existent. It's like they deliberately avoid you. Why have so many floor staff and so little checkout staff?? Also sales are misleading, I'm sure you can't advertise something that is on sale for the same price as normal retail. Another customer lost.

Takes 10 minutes or more to be served in this place, usually only have 1 person serving with plenty of other staff walking around. Picked up a wet suit which was a size too small, asked about the larger size and I was told it's in stock, but out the back somewhere. Rather than going to get it, I was told to buy it online.. so rather than having the item same day I have to wait up to a week before I received it??.. Update - My package arrived 3 days late, and it turns out they have sent me the wrong item! lol. Now I have to return it back and wait for them to receive it back, before they will send me what I actually paid for. That's going to be 3 weeks, if not 4 due to busy X-mas postage period. Update update - Ended up calling a store they "set the wet suit aside for me in the correct size as they have it in stock now" got there today, returned my wrong item and they charged me an extra $50 as the one they set aside was the next model suit up from the one I wanted. I won't be shopping at City Beach anymore. This experience to buy a wet suit has been painful.

Not bad at all! Has what you need and the prices are mostly reasonable

Splendid Store with everything from skate boards, havana thongs, latest footwear, sunglasses, bikins, tee's, men & women's casual wear, shorts, hip head wear, caps, watches, etc etc with friendly helpful Staff waiting to help you choose what your heart desires! City Beach has now relocated opposite to where they were originally located, but still in Murray Street and easy to find. The Store is well-lit, plenty of isle room, and welcoming, a hip groovey Store for all your needs, go there check it out, you'll love the atmosphere, action packed..

A lovely big store with a fantastic range and nice products. sadly, my rating is only medium because of the customer service. I had interactions with staff here on Friday night. While i looked thru several items just one or two metres away from 2 staff just chatting with each other for several minutes, not one of them stopped to think to ask me if i needed help. So, i took the items to another store member who was just standing there, and he helped me, but he wasnt very friendly, too cool for school. usually lack of customer service is due to understaffing, this is not the case here, plenty of staff, they just dont seem to want to attend to the customers at all.

City Beach on Murray Street has a decent selection of items. For summer clothing I'd say it's worth taking a look if you're looking for items for that season.

Love browsing around in here but it can be a bit pricey

ordered a shoe online, specific size and colour. was sent the wrong size, but correct colour. ask store to exchange said shoe for the correct size, and correct colour, get told they don't have it, ok so refund, since you cannot actually supply that which was ordered. Told you can only exchange for another item of equal value. Perhaps change your policy if you cannot supply the item ordered. Fair enough you don't have it, then refund the money. I'll get the size and colour I want from another chain.

O'NEILL HATS?!?!?!... They are the best & biggest rimmed hats out there... l buy 2 every summer from you... went in to City store... Carousel... & Booragoon... you don't have them anymore😞😞😞... please bring them back...PLEASE!!!... the hats availible this year... just don't cut it in our summer heat...

It is two because I came in for bearings after talking to the front door girl and a guy told me they have bearings and told me to go and wait up stairs, I didn't have time to sitdown for 10 minutes I just wanted prices on bearings and to look at stock. Big shrug!!

quarter of one start , visit today 15/5/2021 at 1:15 pm went to buy a hoodie and jacket , went to fitting room to try size M hoodie and came back to find the L size the poorly trained staff accused me of removing the tag of jeans on fitting room and asked me if i steal the jeans brought the issue to manger he simply ignored and told me that staff just asked question while he was implying that i steal the jeans as he was repeating the question 3 times , unprofessional staff and extremely unprofessional manager at cit beach perth ,never buy there

haha before i went in, i was looking up the location and read the review about the alarm going off. Funny enough it happen to me on the way into the store. Lucky my personality is pretty easy going, but i can see people being embarrassed by this. Very loud and lots of looks hahaha. Store was decent, lots of range, and reasonably friendly staff.

Louie and Charlie were amazing help tonight. Very friendly, terrific customer service, helped me purchase two shoes will be coming back to this store any time I shop here from now on solely due to the amazing customer service and their ability to go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you again Louie and Charlie.

Last Saturday I visited City Beach in the city. I was helped with finding shoes by very friendly staff! My size was not in stock, so they offered to check other stores and had such a positive vibe! I'm loving the new location too!

I don’t usually post reviews but the customer service focus at city beach Murray street was terrible. There were several people in line and only one teller with multiple staff walking around the store and one guy on the computer. None thought to look at the line and place more tellers until I asked and made them aware there was a huge line of people waiting. The staff were friendly, no issues there just no sense of being attentive. Not so common sense any more. Where has Perth’s customer service level gone 🙄
