I have spent an year at this hostel. A purpose built hostel building for college/ university students and job holders. Sufficiently clean and quite environment. They offer only community washrooms which are often dirty and unhygienic to use. They offer 2,3,4 seaters rooms which become congested given the sizes of rooms. There is a curfew time in place which is really annoying for job holders and senior students. There are also younger kids of intermediate and bachelor's who at times create disturbance for the whole hostel. The staff is not cooperative and will take weeks and months for problems that could be solved in hours. Highlights 24/7 electricity (Solar system) Fresh water available 24/7 Overall cleanliness is good(except washrooms) air coolers and ACs not allowed Can't use heavy load appliances in rooms Warm water in winters available for just a few hours in morning at first come first serve basis Unfriendly staff.

Its pretty well, with medium quality facilities. Though its wifi service, staff service is wonderful but their food is a littile bit not upto the standard of the area because it is very clase and accessible to both UOP and ICUP, so they should have to have standard food. Apart from that its area is wonderful and good because you will have easy access to ICUP and UOP, apart from institutions you will have easy route to go to board bazar or hayatad area.

Al-Momin hostel provides good internet facility and well furnished rooms as well as its locations is closest to the University Campus Peshawar. One thing that goes against the Al-Momin hostel is its quality of food (mess) that it provides to the student. You can deal with it if you have got enough money to get your food outside the hostel.

By bearing in mind the quiet & pleasant environment as an essential element to stay focused while studying, one would definitely suggest you to visit and stay here. As this hostel is not directly exposed to the noisy outlying area and the rest of the internal affairs of the hostel have also been properly managed by the concerned employees (The daytime wardens "Imran & alot of his first cousins, a nighttime warden "Noman Nomi" and a Chacha "The Reluctant Security Man" who always sleeps and doesn't allow anybody to wake him up etc). Moreover, students are facilitated with Uninterruptible Power Supply, Electric Cooler, Wifi and by choice Internal Food etc. The most annoying thing that the students, in our surroundings, are facing is the "Hostel Food" but it's totally optional here, students are allowed to cook for themselves whatever they want. What's more? Yes! The most important one besides all the above mentioned facilities, is that one can bring and invite his friends & fellows, without an interrogative sign, to stay with him at night if he has a well carpeted room and other arrangements & essentials for guests. It is good hostel in terms of electricity, and internet facility. Although it has no lawn, no open space or greenery so one may need to go out occasionally for a change. One more thing positive i consider is the optional mess system, which is in other hostels a compulsion. Food market are many out there from just a step forward to the University Town.

The hostel is very good. It does provide food at a cheap rate on monthly basis but the rent of the hostel is too much. Its rent cost is the highest in the area although the rooms are good. One more issue is that there is a shortage of washrooms in the hostel. The hostel has a lot of students but all the students are sometimes waiting in lines outside the washrooms. It does have good internet. Overall, the hostel is quite good but the rent is a bit on the high side and the washrooms are the man problem.

Al Momin Hostal only for boys and it's environment is good for study

2,3,4,5-seater rooms are available. Wifi is slow. Beds are there in every room but there are only 2 cupboards in every room. Food provided by hostel owners is below standard.
