This place isn't big on aesthetics, it's housed in a beautifully made yet not very well maintained structure. But the food is out of this world. Whenever I go to peshawar a visit to Anargul does me good. It's the best gastric therapy. Good hygiene is excellent, taste is excellent and hospitality unmatched, quite what you would expect from an average pathan. There's parking space in the front. The bathrooms need attention. But the best part is undoubtedly the food. Simply five star stuff. We ordered dry Mutton tikkas and a karahi of Mutton. The naans were fresh and a treat. After meals kehwa and kheer more than made up for the sweet tooth that I have. Sit on the carpeted floor and enjoy traditional way of eating with Gao takiyas perched behind your backs. One of the best foodie experiences. Thanks

Very good place if you want to enjoy the mutton tikka and famous peshawari karahi. The atmosphere was also very cozy and well managed.

This place was once Cafe de Vento, an excellent Italian restaurant. I used to visit here often from 2006 to 2008. Unfortunately, that restaurant closed down, and now it is Anar Gul shinwari style tikka and karahi only. The location brought back memories. It is a wonderfully constructed place. The food and service quality was also decent. Not crowded at all. However, like all tikka and karahi places in most pf Peshawar, it is not a place for families.

Good location. Nice out door sitting. Indoor it feels too congested and the odour isn't pleasant. Food wise ocha tikka (mutton seekh tikka) was awesome. But mutton karahi was below average.

They have a simple menu. Mutton tikka, karahi, rosh and patta tikka. They look more like a desi dhaaba but the taste they present is out of this world. Its a family place. Dont expect a high class service, just focus on taste and purity.
