We’re very satisfied with Poh Kong, SS2. We couldn’t find any parking so we decided to park at their own parking lot in front of the shop. The moment I signal my car, a Malay staff noticed me immediately and called out to the guard to remove the reserved parking signboard. Then the same Malay lady attended to us. Showed us many types of jewellery around the shop. She was very patient and friendly. Not pushy at all. We told her honestly we wanna see a few more jewellery shops in the same row first before deciding. She was still very friendly and also let us continue to park there even though we didn’t buy anything yet. After looking at two other shops, we decided that Poh Kong’s gold ring has the finest workmanship. We went back and bought the gold ring from Poh Kong. The Malay staff (think her name is Intan), gave us a very good price. She also helped us to download the Poh Kong app for future discounts. We’re really satisfied with our purchase and made me want to buy from Poh Kong again. Do look for the only Malay staff there if you want good service.

Bought an earring from SS2 branch. The attending staff was Intan. She told me that I can exchange if the gift was inappropriate due to the design. I found out that the earring was sharp due to the design that cause the recipient from wearing the earring. I brought it back to the branch only to find out that the exchange period was to be done within 7 days. Next time Intan, make it clear to your clients. Poh Kong, you lost a loyal supporter that has been shopping at your outlets for the last 15 years. Buy from Wah Chan instead, they are charging 215 per gram to 265 per gram at Poh Kong. This company don't deserve your money.

Having supported Poh Kong for almost two decades in most of Klang Valley branches, today's experience at SS2 outlet was very disappointing. Bought a pair of simple earring , and asked for plastic stopper to support bigger ear holes. The saleswoman said that would be extra $10. However, that didn't fit and she brought out a very simple plastic stopper. I told her that she should not charge me $10 now for the simple add on. However, she refused. I just couldn't believe that I was negotiating with her over two minute pieces of plastic in a gold shop. I have experienced amazing customer service in gold stores overseas where I live . After such excellent customer care, coming to the SS2 Poh Kong outlet is such a downer.

Bought a small gold ring (RM169) in less than 3 minutes after stepping into the shop. 1) Sales assistant only provide paper bag after I requested for it (you expect me to carry the jewellery box with my bare hand?) 2) Paper bag provided is not from Poh Kong. The aunty simply took a paper bag from their staff belonging I think, which I think was quite a humiliation towards me just because I bought a cheap item? Well at least it is a SOP at Poh Kong IOI Puchong during my last purchase. 3) Didnt follow SOP like other Poh Kong stores putting the official receipt into their designated envelope. Just pass to me like that expecting me carry the jewellery and the receipts etc out of the shop. Not a pleasant experience to be honest. I wasnt wasting their time asking this and that without buying though, the whole process didn't last more than 10 minutes (while waiting them to process the receipts took 5 minutes already).

Poh kong is my go to - i don't adorn jewellery but when i do need something, i usually need it on the fly. And Francis, the Branch Manager here and his team are ever so helpful. In the last 15 odd years, amongst other SOS's, I have had gold soldering repair done to a favourite bottle gourd amulet of my wife purchased elsewhere and recently i bought a jade kuan yin necklace piece brought in from their factory in 6 hours of notice for an important family member. Very attentive and authentic crew here - they really make a difference to your shopping experience!

Don't go to PYT but go to POH KONG SS2 or TOMEI if there's any nearby your area. Service is good and honest
