Free museum charting the history of postal services in Thailand. It also has many stamps exhibited on pull-out boards including the first stamps produced in Thailand. Being a Brit, it was a joy to see they have the first stamp ever produced "The Penny Black". It was a Sunday when I visited, the museum is on the 2nd floor, but there were some stamp collectors/traders on the first floor. Two young employees in the museum made me smile, they were following me around and I think wanting to practise their English with me. But lovely lads supporting Liverpool in the football league, well nobody's perfect!!!

This is a little but nice philatelic museum in Bangkok. Very close to the BRT station and behind the post office. Entrance is free. You can buy mint stamps from the counter. Museum is located on the second floor. There is a library also. On the first floor (i.e the ground floor) there are dealers during weekends.

All about stamps and the Thai postal service just behind the Sam Sen post office. The museum is on the second floor. Admission is free. Stamps from around the world on display as well. Reading room with reference books in Thai and English. The museum is very close to BTS sky train station Saphan Khwai. November 2016

Can easily spend hours here looking at their stamp collections. Commemorative stamps are sold here as well. Helpful and friendly staffs.

A very interesting Museum for every Stamp Collector! While almost all Thai stamps are there for you to explore, stowed away in metal cabinets, you will get to know the history of Thai stamps. A lot of other interesting items related to post and stamps is on display too.

Nice place for stamps/postcard lovers and philatelists. Although it need improvements in exhibits, it is still worth place to visit. You can buy the stamps and postcards too. Staff are polite and helpful. The museum is hardly found, as it is situated on second floor of the one building inside the compound.

Very nice, but could not find any Australian stamps in their collection, even though there was a section marked for Australia... oh well.

The museum for every postage stamp collector. From BTS station you walk to 3 min , just can easily find a small building behind the post office. it is a small but don't worry , there are many exhibition and books library , and you can get a knowledge enough. As a souvenir , How about buying a related goods and stamps at the museum shop ?

I would recommend this place to people with an interest in the history of the postal system and stamps. The explanations are both in Thai and English and give a good overview of the history. There some interactive stations like a puzzle or a board game, that might be interesting to children. On my visit the staff was able to speak English and helped me out with buying some stamps for my postcards. For Philatelist there are also a range of stamps to buy and look at. While it is not a big museum I really enjoyed my stay here and learned some new things :)
