Tried out this famous place and got their signature red pork with rice, as well as the crispy pork and wanton with egg noodles! 🍜 Personally found the pork a tad too salty for my liking. Love it that the skin was super crispy though πŸ₯°. The egg noodles were also flavourful and went well with the pork. Service wise - the staff were polite and nice, and food came at lightning speed, almost a minute after we ordered πŸ˜‚. There wasn’t a queue when I came on a Sunday afternoon! Overall it was a great experience and well worth the try, literally the definition of what cheap and good is πŸ˜ŠπŸœπŸ‘πŸŒŸ!

Found this place from Bangkok Foodie FB Page. It took us about 25 minutes from the city centre by Grab Taxi to reach this place. It was worth it! The place wasn't very big but we went there before lunch time so it wasn't crowded. I recommend that you order the dish on its own and order rice as a side. The dish on rice felt a bit small for me. The crispy pork was indeed very crispy even after it was drenched with the gravy. The gravy was a bit sweet so it complimented the dish well. Highly recommended to come here when you are in Bangkok.

Delicous pork fried or grilled. The red pork is very tasty. The price is cheap and quantity is good ! Perfect for a quick good lunch. The place a is a typical Thai family restaurant, do not expect extra confort here or absolute cleanliness

I'm definitely coming back to this place every time I come to Bangkok. Their crispy pork was made to perfection, the crispiness, the fats that melt in your mouth, and the salty flavour that blends so well with the red sauce. It's most probably the best roasted pork I have ever had. Period.

Best BBQ Pork and Crispy Pork Rice in Bangkok. Air con restaurant but packed during lunch time. We must finish the meal fast for next visitor. Recommended food to order are Crispy pork Rice and Wontoon noodle. The price is reasonable. Definitely will come back for the next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thanee Khao Daeng Roasted & BBQ Pork Rice, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. Despite only selling roasted and BBQ pork over rice or noodles, this restaurant manages to elevate this seemingly simple dish to new heights of deliciousness. The pork was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness and tenderness, and the noodles were springy. The sauces and condiments offered were also excellent, providing the perfect complement to the rich and savory pork. Eating at Thanee Khao Daeng Roasted & BBQ Pork Rice was like discovering a hidden gem - a reminder that sometimes the simplest things in life can be the most satisfying. Sometimes we don't need all the bells and whistles to find happiness, and that the most important things in life can be found in the most unexpected places. I was going through a difficult time at work, feeling burnt out and unmotivated. But after enjoying a delicious meal at Thanee Khao Daeng Roasted & BBQ Pork Rice, I felt re-energized and reinvigorated. It was as if the simple pleasure of savoring a delicious meal had reminded me that life is about more than just work, and that taking the time to enjoy the small things can make a big difference in our overall wellbeing. Overall, I would highly recommend Thanee Khao Daeng Roasted & BBQ Pork Rice to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, and a reminder that sometimes the simplest things in life can bring us the greatest joy.

A hidden gem for pork lover! So easy to spot the place. The dish is insanely delicious. The sauce is sweet and its just complete the dish. The skin pork is very crispy and quite cheap. Highly recommend to everyone to visit the place when you in Bangkok.

The roasted crispy pork is really nice! Crunchy, juicy and tasty! The bbq pork char siew is not fatty but tender and goes very well with their sauce, though some might find it too sweet. Not expensive yet with air condition!

Moo krob here is so good! Always come back here for the extra portion. Personal preference for the roast pork over the char siew or noodles. But its up to the individual tastebud. Definitely worth a recommendation to anyone wanting to try some really good roast pork.

Crispy skin with tender meat. What more can you ask for? Ordered a bowl of noodles along with a plate of roast meat, bbq meat and Chinese sausage The roast meat alone is worth the trip down to the shop. Not sure how they do it but the meat is well roasted with the meat kept tender that taste absolutely tantalizing in your mouth. The place is kept clean and has a rustic appeal to it. Do note that somehow this place somehow has a knack for attracting flies. But overall hygiene is good.

In our 5 day trip in Bangkok, we had 2 breakfasts here as we wanted to have the roast pork again before we leave. The roast pork skin is crackling crispy. The meat, not just fats, melt in the mouth without feeling greasy. The meat is completely tender. The next item is the Chinese sausage. It does not have the porky taste of the common Chinese sausages. This sausage tastes fresh and the marinade is well balanced. Noodles texture here is what I like. Thin and have a QQ or a nice tender bite to it. Will definitely come back here again when I am back in Bangkok.

One of the best crispy red pork restaurants in Bangkok. The prices are fine. English language skills of the staff are fairly limited. It is located very close to Ari BTS station (about 1 minute of walking distance). I stop to eat here whenever I visit the Ari area. I recommend.

The best of salted crispy pork in Bangkok. No need gravy on it. 90 Baht per 100 gram. A/C room. *Give me a Like πŸ‘ if helpful, Thank you*

Had the red pork and roasted pork rice. The char siew was alright but boy the roasted pork. 5/5 for that. Just the right amount of saltiness mixed with a tad of smokiness. Great proportion of fat and meat. Skin gave a good crisp bite. Absolutely heavenly. Even the egg was perfect. Slightly salty and jammy yolk while the whites gave a good bite. I’d say skip the char siew and go straight for the roasted pork.

TOO MANY FLIES. 🀒 roasted pork and crispy pork tastes good. But my noodle a bit hard seems like doesn’t well-cooked.

Thanee Red Bbq pork and roasted pork is known for its sweetness sauce and super tasty pork. The restaurant is walk-able from BTS Ari Station (near Mercedes Benz showroom office). The restaurant has been in the business for a long time. Known for its quick service, friendly price and ofcourse the crispy/crunchyness of its superb roast pork. Please note there's no soup that goes with it. To enjoy the pork more, please do add some black sweetened sauce with chili (its already on each customer's desk) to enjoy the perfect blend. Cash and bank transfer are both accepted.

If you love a very crunchy BBQ pork, you will absolutely love BBQ port from Thanee. The source is more on a sweetsite but there's a dark sour chilies source on the table that you can balance out the sweetness. Their service is very fast despite high demand during weekdays lunchtime. The table and floor is a bit dirty and sticky.

If you are craving the crispy pork, here js the place. Prices are a bit pricey. Got a plate of crispy pork for 180 baht. Good for group and really popular among Thai locals. The boil egg is so soft anf great. Thier sweet sauce is serve seperately and you eat it with a black sweet sauce as well. The tea are free to refill and smell nice. Recommended.

Cleanliness is my expectation for good food. These photos were taken this morning. The owner should come to see it with your own eyes.

So good!!!! 50 baht for a plate of rice, half a boiled egg and roast meat. We all agreed the roasted pork was the best. Skin was so crispy and meat did not have a strong pork smell. Char siew and sausage was normal. Staff were really friendly as well! Would definitely want to go back again. Sauce is slightly sweet and goes well with the meat. U can ask for it seperate. Loved the boiled egg too. It is about 3/4 cooked and very fragrant and orange. Lots of locals there so you know it's good :p

Roasted Pork Beside Ari BTS Station Had Noodle with Fish Ball, Marinated Pork Chop and Shrimp Ball, Char Siew (Roasted Pork) Rice. The noodles was covered in a thick layer of coriander/parsely/green onions, so those who are averse to this, beware. After digging through the top layer of pungent vege, I came to the bed of noodles with minced pork bathed in light sauce. The highlight is the fish ball and shrimp balls, which were very rich in taste. Could taste that it was made up of mainly fish instead of flour. For the Char Siew Rice, it was drenched in sweet red sauce and paired with an onsen egg. The highlight's the char siew, which was roasted to perfection, but yet retained its soft texture. It's a good experience to taste simple road side food in Bangkok, in a setting that was a throwback to the 60s and 70s.
