👍👍 I tried Frank’s awhile ago and I absolutely loved their food. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, potato salad, and their cornbread. I was impressed with all of it, the cornbread was definitely my favorite part. Wait in line was pretty long but it’s definitely worth it for the good food! People often mention cheese, good, wings, people, cornbread, line,

What caught my eye with this place was their pierogies. I got some sort of deal that was with four pierogies, two sides and a drink. I got potato salad and mac and cheese as my sides. The pierogies were the best part of the combo; they were good but not great (room temperature). Potato salad had too much celery in my opinion and mac and cheese didn't have too much flavor. I also got a couple of their wings and they were bigger than expected and also pretty salty but they were really good. Definitely ordered too much food. Would go back for the wings though.

I definitely do not recommend this place. The food wasn’t that good, the people weren’t friendly, and it took a long time. We stopped here for lunch and I really regret it. I got the chili cheese dog, my bf got the pizza dog, and we split fries and a Mac n cheese. The fries and Mac n cheese were just ok. We did find a weird green spot on the Mac n cheese though that was concerning. The hot dogs and buns were dry. The chili was dry and flavorless. I definitely think there are better places to go in reading terminal.

My girlfriend and I were walking by trying to decide on a place to eat. I saw Famous Frank's and their Mac and Cheese on display. It looked so good, I was drawn in immediately. I purchased the whole wing meal with mac and cheese and fries. The food was amazing.

Food was bland overall. The chicken looks like it will taste great but it is slightly dry with a light bbq taste. The Mac n Cheese is over cooked, no taste, and no consistency. The banana cornbread has an AMAZING taste but once again, it’s overcooked with hard edges. The pirogi’s are also really good but mine were cold. Overall, 3 stars for being edible. This place has great potential but as of now I regret eating here compared to all the other options I had during my short stay here.

I have never had a more disappointing experience at a food establishment in my entire life. Upon walking up to the counter you could tell two employees were not please with each other at all. All was good…. Then after arguing one of the women walked up to the counter and screamed back to another employee that she already asked me what I wanted when she most definitely hadn’t because she was too busy arguing with another employee. I apologized even though she never asked me what I would like (I think she might actually be delusional). Even after apologizing she replied, “Ok, what do you want?” In an extremely annoyed and brash tone. After that, I uncomfortably asked for something that was CLEARLY listed on the menu behind the counter. The woman kept grabbing me the wrong item after I repeatedly told her the very specific thing I would like to order and further pointed to the item in the case and where it was listed on the menu. This troglodyte proceeded with an unprovoked, disgusting attitude. So, I simply told her, “Since you want to act so nasty, go screw yourself, and I hope you enjoy losing business.” I walked back so I could grab the woman’s name to talk to someone about her atrocious behavior and there she was yet again being extremely confrontational with another customer. I told her she needed to check her attitude especially when working in the public eye. She then proceeded to threaten me and say something along the lines of, she’d come out from behind the counter, insinuating that she’d fight me to which I gladly responded, “Go ahead I’d love for you to try me.” She never followed through because: 1) She was all talk ; 2) This foul creature couldn’t have moved fast enough to fight a sloth. Regardless; threatening customers with physical violence because you’re blatantly unaware of the menu items and how to proceed with putting together an order is beyond childish. Really… there’s something called emotional regulation and boy does she need it. It’s really sad to see such miserable, pathetic, and downright trash people working in such an enjoyable place like the terminal market. Management had no idea how to handle the situation (time to revamp the whole crew). I’m not really surprised because if you keep employees like that around you are absolutely unaware of good business practice. This employee drastically and negatively affected multiple customers’ experiences at Frank’s during my one short stop there. Hopefully this isn’t a regular thing on her part but, unfortunately, it seems like it is. Looking forward to never going back, and I’m truly grateful to have not spent, nor ever spending, my money at such a poorly run business. Thanks for the favor :). As Ab-Soul would say, “GOTTA DO BETTER.” It’s very apparent by looking at the other reviews and the owner’s responses, which focus on blaming the customers for any type of negative experience, that this place flat out sucks… Step up and run a business properly, or I’m guessing you won’t have this location for much longer.

Love their wings especially the smaller ones. Mac n cheese is delicious as well. I always grab something from here when I visit Philly. Would rather their hot sauce on the side be Franks red hot but that’s the only complaint.

What happened to this place? This business went down drastically. They now open at 1030 am, I got there at 1045 for a piece of Plain cornbread but all they had was pineapple or cranberry. How do you just open and not have plain cornbread. Unbelievable

I feel like this place doesn't get enough attention for their chicken wings. Probably one of the top 3 places for wings in Philadelphia, if you're asking me.

I was looking forward to trying the BBQ there, but the woman taking orders was INCREDIBLY rude. She yelled at me for asking for potato wedges instead of roasted potatoes (there wasn’t a sign stating what it was called). I understand that the line is long and the staff may be stressed out, but there was really no need to yell at customers. We walked away and found somewhere else to eat in the market.

Franks has the best cornbread in town, they have a wide variety of flavors I’ve never heard of and they are all amazing! The chicken wings never disappoint the staff always have a smile and are very generous.

My first mistake was getting in line for this abomination. Waited for nearly 20 minutes while everyone in line was being berated by the woman behind the counter. She was more concerned with yelling at people than doing her actual job. I get that restaurant work is stressful, but the line was crossed. Not only did she drive us off, but other people as well. Served people at the back of the line instead of people who had been waiting for food that based off of these other reviews, is mediocre at best. Rude, terrible customer service. I will be telling people to avoid this establishment at ALL costs.

Our first time at the Reading Terminal Market, we decided to stop by this place. Dont make the same mistake, terrible service no acknowledgement to customers. When you ask questions about their unclear signage they have complete attitudes. The women with the locs spent the whole time rapping not looking up, while the older black woman was just beyond rude. She was just angry for no reason, she could have stayed home with the attitude that she had. Would not go back to this place and would not recommend.

Awesome mac and cheese, but otherwise not a lot of veggie options. Really popular spot.

The customer service was terrible. My sister who is overly polite, was treated poorly. And then the food had the nerve to be even worst than the customer service. She ordered a salmon burger, and fries (how do you mess up fries). The salmon burger was dry and bland. If you want a good salmon burger you’re better off getting one from Trader Joe’s.

Very recommended! Came back for more of their spicy buffalo wings and order more of their sauce (i think it’s 1.35$) when you heated up at home you’ll need extra sauce to make it more delicious !! Their mac and cheese is to die for too! good customer service as well :)
