Worst Walmart shopping experience, and that's saying a lot. Because, it's Walmart. You can't buy anything around the store without having an associate help you open their dozens and dozens of locked cabinets. And it's impossible to find an associate to help you open a cabinet. I'm buying deodorant not an iPhone... Nothing was restocked. I just needed socks... And after an hour of frustrating shopping the checkout lines (which are 90% self checkout) are 20 minutes long. I got so frustrated I thew my items on the ground and went to shop at target nearby. It was worth the extra money to avoid the aggravation. Not to mention there was a drug dealer in the parking lot trying to make deals with people, with a police officer sitting in their car doing nothing about 100 feet from each other... Go to Target, not worth your time. Or go over the bridge to Jersey, it's worth the $5 toll.

It just wasn't the same like years ago. I went there to shop for groceries and the fruits and vegetable didn't look fresh, the shelves were skimpy, there were long lines and after awhile the cashier or maybe it was the supervisor were telling people that they were closing. It was about 3 people working . I was told 7 workers called out. The quality of store has gone down. I forgot to take a picture of the food and I didn't want to get out of line. I'm not going back there for sure and I didn't get any grocery.

SLOWEST SERVICE I’VE HAD AT A WALLMART. First off all, with all the robberies, they’re locking up their shelves. It took him 10 mins to get me a cable out of the shelf and another 10 mins to get to pay for everything since everyone seem to treat this counter like a payment counter with all their groceries.

Disrespectful service. The website says they close at 11pm, I arrived at 10:04pm in need of a portable charger and my partner asked a team member who was walking by the electronics section, "excuse me, do you work in this section" to see if she could be of help. She replies "anything in the cabinets you can't have cause it's locked. This area closed" as she kept walking and rolled her eyes at us. I don't like to complain but we were treated very rudely.

I was able to get the Neca Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Part 3 movie action figures at walmart cause they get sold out fast. Besides that, walmart has everything from electronics, food, kitchen appliances , clothes, and toys.

Every employee I have ever asked for help can NEVER help me. I hear that's NOT MY DEPARTMENT or they have headphones on & ignore me COMPLETELY. I try not to shop there because I always leave with a resentment. As if it isn't bad enough that I have to ring up my own merchandise but being told that u can't help me is INSANE!! I would rather pay more at Target because AT LEAST I get treated better with employees that are willing to help me!!!!!

I absolutely love your store I really needed those other items and I'm not to happy about your customer service my cashier was missirable and ripped me off I ride my bike miles to get special items and I calculated 53 with all I had my hibiscus tea stolen and my bollymill prayer was taken im very hurt and upset being a project home resident and Walmart investor. The prices of meat in Walmart damn near the same prices in the market. I went to purchase in store extra items to go with a shower curtain and liner I bought online they didn't even the liner in the color I wanted or the shower curtain. The only thing that was good about my visit was the price and variety of eggs.also what's the damn point of having security cameras if we Still gotta have our receipt checked before leaving the store !?

I just be thinking in my head like, why is the management so bad? Rena Richard's act like this is the army! Karen tries whatever possible to avoid work! But again, it’s Walmart. What do you expect. seasoned employees? Miserable. Overall, Unwelcoming atmosphere, and work place environment.

It is the worst Walmart that I have ever shopped. It not clear and there are wooden pallets all over the place and there customer service is terrible.

Buy this brand of sheets they feel of quality. But when I open the package everything is fine until I see the bed. the sheets were stained. and one of the pillowcases. its cost in the store was $19.95

All I wanted was available. This was my first time after I moved to Philly so obviously I had a long list of necessary stuff and I could tick off everything off my list. Particularly, this one being by the side of the river provides you with a spectacular view of the city.

This location is clean, modern, and well-stocked. Also has a Mcdonald's which is nice. Prices were low and affordable, highly recommend.

This was the first time I was in this Walmart. I brought 2 gallons of water cost about 2 something. I was in a rush and forgot to take my receipt, and the person at the door told me I couldn't leave until I got my receipt . So I went to the lady Manning the self-checkout were I was at, and asked if I can get my receipt because I forgot it she said that she can't get the receipt that I'm going to have to buy the products over again and that made no sense to me so I went to the customer service desk. And ask that lady if I can somehow get my receipt and she said she cant, but the lady that I just talked to should be able to get my receipt because she's the one Manning that station. So then I asked the customer service lady if can I just leave, because the other lady can't get it, and she said I cant. That I needed a receipt to leave. Then I just ask for the manager and waited for him. Just for me to give him my credit card and he checked it within 3 seconds and then just looked up and said okay you're good and then allowed me to leave. All after 20-25 min. For what?? 2 gallons of water....really???

We did find what we needed but they had like 10% of checkout registers working, none of them were Fast Checkout and they removed their self checkout section. We stayed more than 30 minutes in the line to buy 4 items. Definitely not an option if you are in a hurry!

Asked a Walmart staff member where the Dove bar soap was located and was told “you gonna have to wait!” Management at the South Philly Supercenter need to train their employees how to properly interact with customers. This happened in the Health & Beauty section and the employee barely spoke English to begin with! I usually don’t shop at this ghetto Philly Walmart and go over the bridge to shop at the Cherry Hill Walmart but they’re not a Supercenter. Also in the South Philly Walmart losers park wherever they want and screw the handicapped!

This one of my favorite places to do my grocery shopping in the Bayonne area (along with Costco). Decent variety of products, good prices, quick automated check out, and friendly staff. They offer everything a grocery store would offer in addition to household items, car related products and even some sporting and camping gear not to mention electronics. Prices are much better compared to Stop and Shop and Shop Rite. Also, there's plenty of parking.

How does it say online this location is open until 11pm but I pull in at 1030pm only to be told by multiple staff members in the parking lot that "we are closed". This is a running theme at more than one walmart I've been to. I need one item but I'm told to leave. I do not recommend this location. What's worse is nothing will ever come of this poor review other than some manager or higher will see this and get a laugh out of it. If you close at 1030pm than change your advertised hours! 🤬🤬🤬

i like the store. But i dont like the manager man there. HE DOESN'T HELP AT ALL THE CUSTOMER when price tag was mistake on dining table. He said there is nothing i can do. But there is one supervisor came help him up. Finally it changed. He better not be a manager if he doesn't what to do.!!

There are excellent products, it would be wonderful to find someone who speaks Spanish in the electronics area. I had help because they are all very nice people and very kind. I love cordial treatment. Highly recommended to go.

Would have given 4 stars, but wasn't impressed with overall attitudes of employees. A young lady at customer service was rude, gave me incorrect information,and clearly didn't want to be there. Cashier at checkout was only marginally better. The lady at the door, a member of security was pleasant though. The store is fairly well stocked and prices for the most part are reasonable. It was my first time shopping for groceries at Walmart, and I will return again. Hoping for an improvement on employee attitudes in the future.

My experience is limited to the curbside order pick up at this location. All I caution other patrons is to come with a decent amount of patience as it will be tested. This process appears simple enough on paper but in practice they lack the efficiency to get orders to your car efficiently. You will wait. Every time. Be ready.

They were stocking the shelves upon my arrival so you should be able to find whatever you need... Except to find someone with a key to open the locked up products. We had to wait over 20 minutes and have 3 associates send texts to find the person with the keys!! I just wanted to get my cool cat Ray a new flee collar with a reflector it came up to $8+ overall it was big store, clean and well stocked and surprisingly Not crowded and registers were available! Enjoy your holiday shopping! 🛍️

The store has always had what I have been looking for on shelves. Them being open until 11pm is another great feature. I give this store 3 stars because the checkout time is ridiculous. They installing new self checkouts which I hope will improve the overall checkout experience.

This was was clean and we'll stocked and the staff was polite and helpful. We visited this on our way to Philly and we really liked the experience here.

Been working here 2 years, the people are wonderful, customers are crazy and inventory seems to always have exactly what you don't need but never what you do need but this is probably the most calculate location for a Walmart in Philadelphia and a lot of athletes come by do to it being down the street from the stadium and practice facilities for most of Philadelphia sports teams.

It’s ok. Some of the employees don’t seem to be warm. There is no fresh produce but it’s better than no Walmart at all. There clearance is usually pretty good!

Thr staff never know where anything is everything is easily found thankfully. I usually can get everything here and customer service is usually good. Clean and tidy for the most and surprisingly check out is fast with minimal wait time. They've improved over the years

I went on a Saturday and there were a lot of other customers. If you have a cart it can be tight at times in different aisles with other patrons and their carts. I found most of what I needed, but noticed there were several shelves missing items on them. No Just Mayo available here which is a darned shame! Prices were not too bad. Parking lot is an adventure to deal with both parking and pedestrians. Many many employees restocking which on one hand is great but on the other hand their trolleys holding the restock items took up space in the aisles. It was basically a three star experience mostly...plus another star for the easy checkout (several check out clerks spanning several checkout lines and so only one customer in front of me so I liked that). Overall not a bad experience. Just be prepared for a lot of other ppl there since this is obviously a city location.

Overall it was a fine experience...I use a wheelchair and the associate was very accommodating...I was however unhappy with my fruit purchases specifically my strawberries... . a young man handed me a 2lbs pack that was partially yellowish and 5days later they spoiled

The store itself is great. Prices are great & staff is friendly & helpful. BUT the ladies restroom was DISGUSTING. Apparently, the automatic toilets were not flushing like they should in several stalls, etc. That needs to be handled asap.

On 11/27/2022 around 10:35 am I had an order which was curbside pickup. I made a call with no picking up b4 coming. So I went inside ask the lady at Customer Service area. I was shocked bcuz of her attitude. She was rude n unhelpful. When asked for the pickup, I got the rolling eyes n “Did you see where I point ?”. If this is how customers get treated at Walmart then I rather pay a couple more bucks at Target with better service. The guys at Pickup door outside n inside are nice thou.

This is a great place to shop. They have anything I need. I've lost my cellphone at the restroom and the wallmart lady gave it back.

not exactly my most favorite place to visit. even though they may have what I am looking for, the staff are not always professional nor polite. people (fellow shoppers) can also be rude too. do NOT go during the weekends past 10am... the crowds can be overbearing!

Absolutely huge store with every department you could need. Plenty of parking but quite long queues to pay, does have scan & pack yourself options and this will help with the queues. Overall a great one stop shop for all of your needs.

No better store for fall shopping and back to school. Immaculate store and friendliest employees ever.

This walmart has a good collection of the products, from electronics to home appliances, from grocery to meat, dairy. They have all the things you expect, but the service here is not great. The self checkout was off for a long time, recently they resumed it, without self checkout the checkout counters are not sufficient, most of the counters are closed all the time. But the premises of this walmart are very nice. It has a great view of the Philadelphia skyline and the river. There is a park-like place for the kids and family. There are bi-cycle lanes as well.

It's a Walmart, best part of my day was seeing the Philadelphia Fire Department parked outside while a couple members were inside shopping.

Despite the influx of customers from all over, I was able to be in and out last Saturday between 8am and 9am. The aisles were well stocked, I even managed to grab a few toys for the grands..the holidays are fast approaching. Alot of the carts were still fastened together but other than that everything was a breeze..most items were affordable

Lots of carts available. Lines were open. Nice woman in the beauty department. Parking lot was clean.

Walmart theory of having one store for all proved to be successful for the last 12 years, running out of some items prove that inventory control is not quiet well. Is it true that staying at the top very hard goal to achieve!
