Every review on here is gassing up the wings and I personally know people that have hyped them up as well, so I got an order of wings and mozzarella sticks. Be warned, the wings are soggy and not accidentally. Apparently, they're intentionally made soggy and this is part of the allure for some. Even if ordered with the sauce on the side (as I ordered them), they come soggy. They're not soggy because they were left in the container too long either because I tried them as soon as I got in the car. Crazily enough, the wing tips are even left on in their soggy state which is unappealing to say the least. In addition to the sogginess, there's a lack of seasoning/flavor and the hot sauce that's provided is fairly lackluster. Moreover, the wings themselves are not the highest of quality. Not poor quality, but not good enough to come near making up for their other faults. I ordered 25 of them and I've probably eaten 5 at this point and am calling it quits. Textural nightmare. I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend these wings as they were recommended to me. The mozzarella sticks weren't good but they were edible at least.

I was riding my 10 speed around Richmond when my nephew chuck and girlfriend Samantha yelled out their car saying they were headed to Byrne's for late lunch. I met up with them at the bar and we ordered a bunch of beers/Pizza/broccoli bites/and their famous wings. It wasn't too crowded this Sunday evening so the service was very attentive to our dining needs even as I inadvertently knocked our personal pizza to the floor, he gave us a new one asap. As we ate our way into food heaven we discussed our upcoming plans for memorial Day wknd.

Finally made it to Byrne's after passing by so many times. A small, yet cozy corner pub. The bartender and waitress were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered 50 hot wings to start off the night. They were cooked just right to where the meat fell right off the bone! The hot sauce was hot, but not too hot to where you had to take a break. The sauce made you want to come back for more! I topped off the wings with a roast beef sandwich. A little horseradish mixed in with the provolone cheese and gravy already on the sandwich, was out of this world!! Definitely recommend! I will absolutely visit Byrne's Tavern again!

I ordered wings and an appetizer sampler to go. When they brought out the check, every item was more than what was listed on the menu. For 25 wings, they added 6 dollars to the bill. For app sampler, they added a dollar. I asked waitress about the added cost. She stated they charge more for the blue cheese, celery, Buffalo sauce, etc. Every other place I have ordered wings from, these items are included. Definitely not a 6 dollar upcharge. I do not care about the cost of my order, but the way they tried to sneak in additional charges onto my bill, made me cancel my order. I will not go there, and I suggest you find a more honest place to buy your food.

I've driven by a million times but never went in. Nice place for drinks and dinner. The staff are all friendly and the service was great. And yes they do have Liverwurst.

Kielbasa and Pierogies really good authentic polish food. Butter cake..yum. Is a little in need of repairs ie: ceiling but as long as it didn't fall on me, it was ok. Would go back if in area.

Fall of the bone wings with great flavor. Only wish they could also be crisper but just my personal preference. Still delicious nonetheless. The fried Ravioli with the marina sauce is also a fave of mine. Place is small so we always order out.

The wings fall off the bone and the potato logs come with sour cream and a cheese sauce and they are to die for.....I also tried the fried ravioli and it was good.....we went for my late birthday celebration and they gave me a cup which I was told later that he was the owner....I thought that was very nice

Byrne's never disappoints. Food is delicious, wings fall off the bone - so good! Don't forget to order some Crabby logs.

Been coming here for years and I have tried a lot of top rated local wing spots. I still would choose Byrnes over any of them … also the waitress staff usually on Friday nights has been there for decades (not years) and they are all great at their job and good people.

Byrne's Tavern is the ultimate neighborhood bar, where you don't actually have to live in the neighborhood to feel at home. No pretense, no fuss just great food and excellent spirits!

First time visit, had a craving for wings and blue cheese. I ordered take out and received super quick service. At the servers suggestion I added the wedges and single crab cake. Everything was delicious. Fall apart wings and real crab/ I had to search for filler🙂!!! Charming and warm service from both waitress and bartender.

My friend & I had a comfy, relaxing and FILLING sit down at Byrne's. Came for the Irish coffee that was made very well. We were recommended the buffalo wings and so tried the pierogies. Everything was super tasty. As a Buffalo, native everything was cooked with love and you could taste it. We made room from a slice of butter cake somehow and happily waddled out of there, lol! Owner and our server were really sweet folks and made me wish Byrne's was located near me! Definitely stop through and pay them a visit!

Local neighborhood pub with award winning wings and tasty bar food. Good drink specials during Philly team games. Staff are super chill and make sure your drink isn’t empty!

The crab soup was all vegetable no crab. The crab cake was good but small surrounded by two big heaps of potato salad and Cole slaw. The wings were OK. The service was nice and the waitress was very good.

Wasn't a diehard wing fan until I went to Byrne's. Now I'm hooked. Best wings I've ever had. I lay in bed thinking about the next time I'll get some Byrne's.

Really great wings here. Old fashioned friendly spot. It’s where my family takes me for Father’s Day. Only bar that I know of in Philly that paints a shamrock in your Guinness.

To the owner and Alix the bartender. Thanx for making my inaugural visit exemplary. I can't thank you enough for the welcoming feeling. You are the epitome of classiness.👍 Such a great first experience. Love the shirt!!

Probably has been 15 years since I've last visited. Pretty much the same as I remember. Awesome food and welcoming atmosphere. Potato logs are unique due to being pressure cooked I believe. Highly recommend. Also, wings were fall of the bone delicious. Wash it down with a Guinness.

The place isn't big. However, it makes up for it in every other way. I ordered the Hot Roast Beef sandwich (Delicious), mozzarella sticks, and a small carnival pizza. They have a Butter cake for dessert that is second to none. (OMG). The rest of the menu was very appetizing too. There is a nice selection of beers, and the waitresses were really on top of their game. I will definitely be going back.

THE WINGS ARE INSANELY GOOD. The potato logs are surprisingly really good as well. I usually don’t like a thick cut fry but these are unlike any other thick cut fry I’ve ever had. Fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and just enough crisp on the outside.

We went there for the 2nd time and it was awful. The first time everything seemed decent, so we thought we’d try it again. The server was inattentive and seemed bothered every time we asked for any items. The food was bad. We ordered wings which they said they were known for.. they had hardly any meat and weren’t good. Ordered “potato log” which turned out just being frozen wedges.

This place has THE BEST WINGS EVER! Hands down, no doubt about it. I dont know how they do it, but the meat falls right off the bone. They make a lot of other great foods too.

This place has been a go-to neighborhood bar/restaurant for decades. Wings, potato logs, and crab soup are my favorites, but I don't think I've had anything I haven't liked from this place. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. There are plenty of parking spaces.

The wings here are seriously incredible. Best wings in the city by miles. Cool bar inside with places to watch sports games. Nice spot over all.

Nice place to eat or drink. Not very noisy, which I like. The roast beef sandwiches are awesome, and the rolls are always soft. Not expensive at all, and the waitresses are very nice. Go there a few times a week!
