You really want to make this a destination restaurant. If your lucky enough to get a reservation. The steaks are amazing! The Cab is very smooth. The service makes the difference. We enjoyed the dinner for two and ended up taking most of it home. Wow. Super tender and delicious. The lobster 🦞 Mac and cheese is out of this world. The crème brûlée speechless! I have never had such an amazing meal. You get what you pay for and you will be very happy. The view at night is gorgeous. We could see for miles.

The view was fantastic! The service was ok, not what I would expect at this price point though. The food was not impressive at all, so I was disappointed in the meal which was appetizers and main courses for three adults. The fries were dry, the steak was underwhelming with no flavor, the lobster tail was tiny. The drinks sounded good, but had very little flavor at all as well. If you are interested in the view, maybe try for drinks, but the food leaves a lot to be desired and the menu has limited options.

Thank You for making my Anniversary celebration amazing and making my Wife feel special. The staff and Manager were absolutely fantastic. I went at 5:30 PM and this gave nice daylight for pictures including the 360 picturesque view of Phoenix with Valley background. Perfect time to eat and then watch the sunset for night pictures. All the food was prepared and presented well. You made our night.

Food was okay, certainly nothing memorable and didn't really match the amazing ambiance and views that restaurant offered. Service was welcoming and attentive, and I certainly appreciate that. I also thought rotating around 360 was a neat experience and not nauseating as i expected. Also the views of Phoenix and natural landscape surrounding the city are unmatched, so worth checking out even if just for a cocktail or soft drink

AMAZING VIEWS! Only thing was, where we sat, we weren’t able to see the sunset because it didn’t revolve around in time. I just walked over and took a few pics. We shared the chicken. The chicken portion was a good size, but the accompaniments were not. Four halves of small potatoes with no flavor; no seasoning and dry. Chicken was delicious; tender and the sauce was yummy. Just a few bites of a vegetable that really wasn’t edible. Would’ve been happy with a good-sized amount of edible vegetables. Drinks were good. Our waitress was good, but the young girls seating people were not personable and were uninterested. The only time I would return is to have a drink in the lounge.

They just re-opened after three months of being closed. The views are spectacular and the service is very friendly! The drinks menu is very elaborate and comprehensive. Food was great but portions were very small and they don't offer side orders. I think the menu could be greatly improved if they either included more side to the actual main dishes or added side options to the menu. I highly recommend this place for drinks or a light meal, the appetizers we ordered were incredible!

Pretty impressed, was going in with low expectations as places like this rely more on location and lack in food and service. But seafood was cooked perfectly, David our waiter was steller. Cocktails were great. Plus the view was amazing. Great memory for our Anniversary.

This was a great experience. Food quality, view, and service was exceptional. My only complaint was that the fabric chairs appeared to have stains, which is surprising considering the high price tag. I highly recommend the Salmon, Ribeye, and Cheese Platter for dessert. The caramel popcorn cheesecake was one to remember as well...?

Very elegant atmosphere, amazing views of Phoenix, superb service & good food. The porterhouse was tender & juicy but the chicken was a bit hard. Overall it is worth the effort & price is very reasonable.

Worth every penny! Finally got a sitter for date night and this was on top of my list for many years! It's a really cool experience here in Phoenix. Everyone should visit when in town! The restaurant does make a full 360, giving you amazing views of Phoenix, but it's very slow so you don't necessarily feel it. Food is very pricey though. Definitely save up. We spent 200 for two of us. We had quail, steak, scallops aaaand mac and cheese. All very delicious! I highly recommend the crab mac and cheese! I want to go back, just for this! Delicious! Service was a bit slow, and it took 2hrs from start to finish, but I had great views. I didn't mind!

This place used to be almost magical experience. Today was a completely different story. While the staff was nice and very friendly the quality of the food has seemed to disappear from days past. For the cost of each item in the menu vs the quality of what you get it is simply not there. I was not alone in this assumption as many voices the same thoughts… simply not worth the cost compared to what you get.

My wife took me here for my birthday, it was over the top! We had a ribeye, cooked to perfection and tasty. I added a lobster tail and my wife had the shrimp. The mashed potatoes were great. Our waitress was Taylor and she was excellent. We got some Creme brulee, it was the best I ever had. Don't have any hesitation when reserving a table here.

Amazing visit. There were 9 of us for a friends birthday party, and the server was very nice, the food was absolutely delicious! I got the braised short ribs and oh my was it delicious! The cocktails were quite expensive but they packed a punch. For dessert I got the red velvet cheese cake and it was slightly underwhelming. I expected it to be more red velvety, but the cheese cake was delicious regardless. We got the charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was great along with the complimentary rolls to keep us occupied while we waited for our food. It has a lot of decadent options. Keep in mind, if you go here, you will likely spend about $100/person. Also the view was beautiful as the sun was setting.

The staff was super friendly. We loved the views even though it was rainy. We parked next door they were not doing valet at the time. My husband had the ribeye and I had the filet. I did not care for the lobster Mac and cheese it seemed a little dry but the scallop potatoes were great. Overall it was a nice dining experience. It was my birthday and they brought me a birthday treat.

10/10 Great food, great service! Chef Chelsea and the kitchen staff did an amazing job tonight. My husband and I celebrated our 19 Year wedding anniversary and Chef Chelsea truly gave us a 5 star VIP service. Our service was amazing. I must say chef kiss to the kitchen especially the pastry Chef. Thank you for making tonight special!

The view is amazing but the food was just awful. They should be ashamed to charge such prices. The charcuterie board was awful. Couldn’t identify most of what was on the board including a lump of what was possibly a honey comb. The fries were almost burned. I’ve never had bland hummus anywhere but here. The bread seemed stale, the herb butter not good. If not for the price, it would be ok to have sub par food just for the view. The server seemed to be annoyed with us asking for anything. Still can’t understand who approves the food and how they get away with it. It may be time for restaurant rescue.

We got the “yes chef” and every plate was full of flavor and surprises. My husband took me here for date night. And I was very pleased that even tho we ordered the “yes chef” our meals were completely different/ so we shared a lot of our food with each other resulting in us pretty much being able to taste almost half the menu. Well worth it. It’s been two days and I’m stilling thinking about the experience.

Such a unique experience! 24 floors up in a glass elevator so you can enjoy the view. The service was exceptional. The view from our table was wonderful. We went later in the evening as to enjoy the sunset. The swordfish special was the best I have ever had. My son and daughter in law both said their steak was so tender and delicious. A bit pricey, but when you factor in the experience with the food, it was well worth it.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! Let’s start of by saying “views on top of views!” The floor rotates 360 degrees around so while enjoying your delicious meal, you can admire the Phoenix skyline and mountain landscape! The food was incredible!, you have to try the rack of lamb, just falls off the bone! The drinks were on point as well, they make a great Moscow mule. If you’re in the Phoenix area, check this place out, you won’t be sorry!

If you love skyline views and a beautiful way to celebrate this is the place to go. It's alittle pricey and if you have any problems with being high up and feeling werid rotation then do not go here. The restaurant rotates but not fast, kinda of a slow moving way? The food is very delicious.

We made a reservation so there was no wait. We even arrived very early for our reservation and they seated us right away. The staff was very friendly and did not bug us a lot while eating. The wait for our food was not too bad and we got to enjoy the views while we waited. The Compass rotates very slowly to show 360 views of the city. We went during sunset and it was very pretty. The food was good but was kind of plain. I had grilled chicken sandwich that had more flavor in the super toasted bread than the chicken and my boyfriend had the flat iron steak which seemed to be more of a simple comfort food dish and was just ok....again not too much flavors. We were treated with a desert for our anniversary and that was so good. The prices were reasonable so really nothing to complain about....i think i just hoped for more of a variety with the flavors in our dishes. I will say that the cornbread that is served as an snack while waiting is so tasty. I guess some things are good and some are good but not too exciting. Still worth the views.

The food was horrible! $16 for crab Mac n cheese and it had NO CRAB in it. It was box Mac n cheese with breadcrumbs on top. The Mac n cheese pasta wasn’t cooked all the way. The tiger shrimp was completely raw! Expensive trash. The view was the best part. My husband woke up sick the next day from eating one of the raw shrimp. Worse food I have ever tasted. I’m shocked they still are serving people!

20th wedding anniversary dinner. Awesome views of the city, and you get to see the whole city, the restaurant rotates(slowly) On the 24th floor and it's very nice. My budget doesn't allow me to eat there every night but for a special occasion it is perfect. I don't go out on a limb to often with food selection but tried a seafood pasta plate and it was delicious. My wife ate a salad and liked it as well. Oh yeah, make sure to mention if it's a special occasion, they "might" bring a desert on the house. One note: I parked on the north side of the hotel, and their parking is on the south side, they were unable to validate it, but it is what it is, just park on the north side.

Absolutely nice view on the top floors in Hyatt Hotel in Phoenix. We didn't reserve so we took a table randomly. A waitress came and said this table charge $50 extra. What?? We moved other side restaurant to get high chairs table. There were same view downtown Phoenix but different angles which we liked it. (Saved $50) We ordered compass house salad with chicken and wild mushrooms side. The salad was really fresh and crushed. We also had Macaron sand for dessert that was sweet and creamy. I like our server who kind and friendly but I forgot his name..

I ordered the steak and scallops, the steak came out completely raw. The scallops were under cooked. We had calamari as an appetizer and it was perfect, great sauce as well. My wife's main dish was the scallops and asparagus meal. The plate came out with 4 scallops and 3/4 of 1 piece of asparagus. I'm not exaggerating. This is our first time coming here and as the room rotates we here this loud vibrating humming. We ask the staff what it was and they said its the AC unit om the roof. What a horrible place to go to. This next comment is about the waiter. He was a nice guy but he was wearing a mask and I could understand anything he said. Overall do not waste your money or time at this restaurant complete disaster for our anniversary. Wife and I went across the street to get some real food because we were still hungry.

We ate here the day after Valentine’s Day. Initially I tried and make a reservation and online everything said it was booked. We took the chance and went anyway and the host was nice and said she might have table available. There were people there but it was not crowded. We were told that there was some cancellations, so we felt lucky. They only open at 5 o’clock pm and this place makes a great sunset watch, as well. We got there after 7 o’clock, but we are planning on going back earlier to get the whole experience. It is a revolving restaurant on the 24th floor at Hyatt in downtown Phoenix.

We had our breakfast here because the dinner tables on the July 4th were all booked. However, we were glad. The restaurant was much less crowded in the morning, the view around the restaurant was great and the server was very attentive (but the restaurant only moves at night not in the morning)

I've been to MANY luxury restaurants. This is in my top 5! The food was fab. Try the stuff you never had because believe me when I say...EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS TASTY. Also, keep in mind that this is not a cheap place. Dress to impress and enjoy!

I had a wonderful meal with the team here. The food was high quality and the staff was all very attentive. Food is expected to be that expensive knowing the location and this a fine dining restaurant, but once you tasted the foods, you can really say that it was all worth it. Never disappointed! Really good service! Highly recommended!

Outdated, overpriced, and prepare to be sea sick from the incredibly unpleasant rotation of the restaurant. Food is nothing special but I guess it’s “cool” to have a rotating restaurant but is a joke compared to the dining options atop the space needle in Seattle.

Excellent views from up top. Need to get a reservation to eat here otherwise they might not accommodate you. Service is great and friendly. Came here for Valentine’s Day. Was really nervous going here reading the most recent reviews, but I gotta say the food was amazing! Servers were so nice, friendly and accommodating. We had asked to be moved closer to the window after being seated and they were more than kind allowing us move and helped us move everything over. Great service from everyone involved. I went with the chicken and creamed potatoes which were perfect, chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Felt like a sou vide chicken breast, and not something I could have put together at home myself. Wife had the pasta which was also very very good. Not to mention the amazing views. Will definitely be back.

Our server, Monica, made my birthday dinner the BEST experience I’ve ever had. I so DIDNT believe the Compass was a revolving restaurant, but it is and it’s so COOL! I booked for 6pm so we could watch the sunset as we dine together in celebration of myself. The atmosphere was amazing, so sophisticated. I ordered the Yes Chef, with each dish they brought out for the four course meal, I said YESS CHEF because it was absolutely delicious. From the presentation of the FRESH oysters, the salad topped with gluten free sweet potato chips, the WONDERFULLY TASTY scallops, and the TWO Deserts!!!! Monica truly treated us!!! She listened to our needs, helped us with describing certain drinks and ingredients in the meals. Aaaandd brought out an amazing birthday desert that tasted like a peach cobbler that was just broken down with the edible “Happy Birthday” chocolate. The HUGE macaroon that was airy, light, fluffy and delicious. Lastly, before we left, Monica gifted us The Compass chocolates. At first I thought she was proposing to me because the chocolates were in a little black box, but to my surprise it wasn’t a ring (though I would’ve said yes lol) it was the most delicious chocolates I’ve ever tasted. Salty, toffee, sweet and savory all in one bite. The Compass experience is truly one of a kind, I recommend for ANYBODY. You deserve to treat yourself every once in a while and ESPECIALLY on your birthday. Cheers to more life!! Thank you again to the Compass team.

Wow beautiful location and the views are amazing but the food was subpar for the price. We purchased the dinner for two which came with an appetizer, salad, entree and two sides to share and dessert. We chose the Scallop appetizer although tasty in flavor it was overcooked. The Caesar's salad was different but OK. We decided to split the porterhouse steak as an entree. That was actually pretty good and the chef cut it off the bone to make it easier to eat and share. It came with 3 different sauces. For sides we got the lobster Mac n cheese which had little lobster or cheese, it was literally the dryest no flavor Mac n cheese I've ever had. The other side was asparagus wrapped in bacon that was delicious, we should have gotten two orders of that!! Then the last course a stout chocolate cake with salted caramel and white chocolate. It took what felt like 15-20 minutes to arrive. It looked pretty but it was SUPER dry too and didn't have much taste! We barely ate it or the lobster Mac n cheese very dissapointing dinner. If you're going for a special occasion the sunset is awesome and no doubt what you're paying for because it's not the food!

It was AMAZING! My daughter's 18th birthday is going to be the most memorable! Our server, Monica, was attentive, polite and very professional. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing and comfortable. Our view was gorgeous! I recommend taking a date or having a special dinner with someone close, or even treating yourself to a table by the window all alone and enjoy everything this romantic restaurant has to offer. This is fine dining. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Food and drinks arent amazing but average. Relaxed, romantic, and scenery is how i would describe this place. Our server was hard to locate or get their attention for drinks/food. The new menu they just rolled out is really fantastic. I had scallops in miso butter, accented with kimchee, fried egg, and something called forbidden fried rice. My family had salmon and french chicken entrees. Trust me...we all were part of the clean plate club tonight. :) The servers helped us with our party of six by getting us a booth where everyone had a great view. Our two hour wait changed to 10 minutes thanks to them. If you visit Phoenix, add this to your itinerary for sure.

Incredible views, great service. Even prepared a nice dessert surprise for my girlfriend and I on our Anniversary date. One thing I found odd was the large range of dress attire there was. Some people business casual, while others just wore simple everyday attire. Definitely a twist considering I was at a fine dining restaurant and that changed the overall mood a bit. Food was great.

I wish I could remember the name of the dish below (I know it was fig something) anyway it was phenomenal. I also had the French chicken (when left overnight, it tastes even better) Also the fact that all the tables in the restaurant are on a rotation device so that you get to see different views of downtown was pretty cool.
