Went in tonight for my second time since I've moved here, from New York. I was told to sit down and someone would be right with me ( it was about 40 minutes until closing time). There was a misunderstanding with the servers as they were doing their closing work, they thought I was waiting for takeout, so no one greeted me or gave me a menu for maybe about 20 minutes until Christine, who I'm assuming is the manager, came over and checked in with me, apologized and took my order. Not only did she rectify the situation, she was overall so sweet, she talked with me, and made me feel comfortable and not rushed. By time my pizza came out it was basically closing time so I told her to put it in a box to go so I wouldn't hold them up and she wouldn't let me. She said " You came here to dine out, not to bring your food home. You came for the experience that's what you'll get." I've been in the restaurant business basically my whole life- and the way she handled that situation was top notch. I'll be honest with you, I was about two minutes from walking out of the store and not coming back. If it weren't for Christine, I would have left extremely unhappy. Being from New York, nothing will ever really taste "like New York pizza" but so far this has come the closest. I got the vegan pizza, personal size and it was FANTASTIC. Most vegan cheeses don't melt right and most restaurants that are not primarily vegan, don't really care about getting the vegan items to perfection but I really enjoyed my pizza, and my experience. I gave it 5 starts for Christine, and even for the food. My only feedback and constructive criticism is that all servers should be greeting EVERYONE and asking if they're being helped regardless if they're take out or not. (The server did come over and incessantly apologize and was very sweet when she realized what happened). I have more patience than most- so I'd hate to see them lose customers over misunderstandings.

Just received my order. 1 frozen serving each of Spaghetti & Meat balls plus 1 Lasagna. Both obviously prepared from frozen. Very overpriced. The Spaghetti had plenty of noodles 2 smallish meatballs with a dribble of sauce in the exact center of the serving. (I've been ill so I neither sent it back nor took pics. Sorry). The sauce well I can't say it was bad. Just STINGY. Like maybe they confused me with someone who doesn't tip and they dont want him coming back. And I wont be back. The lasagna was small but for frozen not bad. Yes I had both meals myself. Ive been ill and eating very little so I was hungry. The delivery driver was very quick. The food was still hot. My last dance here. Pizza is good though.

The staff at this location are amazingly warm and friendly. The food is consistently good and well-prepared. A good solid neighborhood pizza choice.

Server was very nice and attentive. The pizza was great. Not the best pizza but still tasted good. I also ordered cheesecake but I don't think I enjoyed the raspberry sauce. Maybe it would have been nice if there were fresh berries

I was staying in a local hotel just outside of their delivery area for my child's surgery. The driver took my order anyway. The food is great with fair prices. I loved the limoncello; it was fantastic. The young woman who took my order was polite and didn't scoff at my request for my pizza not to be blackened. The driver was very polite and I received my order fast. The pizza I ordered was fresh basil & garlic. They used crushed, fresh garlic. It was all very, very good. I requested something to put my leftovers in that would fit in my mini-fridge and the obliged happily. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. It was certainly worth it!

Always like to stop here for a quick bite. Pizza was delicious and wings were flavorful and cooked as requested.

We finally had a chance to stop by this restaurant and let me tell you...It was Fantastic!!! The NY Hand tossed pizza had such a wonderful taste. I only had a bite, because I ordered the calzone and OMG.....🤤 The seasoned ricotta cheese and mozzarella along with my toppings were absolutely amazing. The marinara dipping sauce was superb. My family enjoyed the Pizza & Wing combo and my 5 year old gave two thumbs up on her Kids Spaghetti & Meatball plate. It was a pretty big portion for a child plate. So if you have 2 little ones that don't eat much, that 1 plate is a perfect portion for two. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!! We will surely be back **Highly Recommend**

The pizza here was delicious. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and basil, and it was great. I also ordered the hot honey wings and cheesy garlic knots, and everything was really good. The staff was really friendly. I would definitely come back!

Definitely recommend the garlic knots. They were very delicious and make sure to get the wings well done, they come out so crispy. Pizzas are a good portion especially having the appetizers. I was full for the remainder of the day.

First time at this location and even though it's far from our house, since we were passing by the area we stopped. We will be back. Everything and everyone was great! MK was our server and was super friendly and made sure we had our drinks topped off, and everything we needed.

BEST THAT WE'VE HAD SINCE MOVING TO THE SOUTHWEST!!!

The pizza was cold and greasy. The mozzarella was over cooked and close to burned. Every time we order from this place they forget part of our order. The last time the bill was 70$. This was when we decided you do not get what you pay for and the food isn't worth the money. We ordered a pizza, calzone, mozzarella, and meatballs the last time. Never got the meatballs and still paid an arm and a leg for the meal. Rethink ordering from this place.

The food was good as always but the service not so much. I had a party of 7 and there was only 3 other small tables occupied. Our waitress was nice but never came back for refills multiple times check to see if the food was good. It was kinda disappointing because there was not very many people in the restaurant besides ourselves.

NYPD's Brooklyn Family is, imho, the best pizza in the valley. This location (7th Ave & McDowell) is consistently clean, the staff friendly, and the food great at reasonable prices.

Really enjoyed the cauliflower-crust pizza: (1) a very thin crust (2) appropriate size for one person (3) delicious toppings. $15 plus depending on # toppings

Great downtown spot! I really love this place because they have more than just pizza, they offer healthy choices like the Soho pizza salad! I can get my salad on, and still enjoy a really nice artisan pizza crust underneath 😜 they also have an area with multiple high top seating for larger groups. My small group of ladies meet there each month and enjoy it more every time! 5 stars for you Ziegler's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We like getting pizza from this restaurant. And they have good salads here. I would like to try the cheesecake but I’m always too full.

Since we had several hours before my wife's surgery was over at Banner, I suggested to my Mom and Sister we go to NYPD Pizza right down the road from the hospital. Ryan was our server and he was amazing. Every suggestion he made was spot on and he was very attentive, friendly and super "down to earth". I would absolutely recommend NYPD any day and every day! I couldn't decide which pizza to order, so I just enjoyed half of your Da Works and half Wall Street pizzas. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time! The crust is delicious and all of the toppings were fresh --and delicious! Not to mention our waitress was very courteous and attentive! I was with my mother visiting my girlfriend, and she recommended this establishment, and I'm so glad she did!

The Penne Vodka was delicious (I took half home and it was also delicious warmed up). Had slice of a friend's pizza and it was perfect! I usually like thicker crust but they nailed it with the right method of cooking. Garlic knots were great. Attentive staff. I'll be back!

I'm front new york and this is as close to NY style pizza as you can get. Their wings are also meaty and flavorful as well. Staff is always professional and helpful

If you do not have a Venezia’s near you this is the next best think when it comes to Phoenix delivery pizza. Great NY style with a good sauce and decent toppings. I wish it was a bit crispier but if you ask for it well done it comes out almost perfect. Must try.

Well-priced and high-quality pizzas! I got the meat lovers pizza and liked every single type of meat on there. it was pepperoni and different types of sausages. I even ate the crust of the pizza which I usually don't do.

I LOVE this location. The food is always spot on, the staff are super friendly - and the service is always quick to get the food out the window to tables/customers waiting. Calzones are to die for and the Sicilian is amazing! Wings have the perfect crunch and honey hot was the right choice for me! Fried Zucchini and their fries are great, too!

Pizza is great here. Very greasy and floppy. But delicious. Now $$60 great? Every once in a while. Sorry but when I’m given the choice of spending 60% of everything I have to my name. Or $7 on a quick hot and ready from Lil C’s. Maybe not ready; and still wait 10 min? Then Lil C’s gonna get my bank.

My mom, kids and I visit this location pretty frequently.. the wait staff is incredible and is ALWAYS super awesome to us! The food is delicious and not too expensive. We always have a great time here! If I could give it 100 stars I would!!

Had delivery, I had called attempted to order over the phone. was hung up on twice. made order online. Order was late called got hung up on again then told a few more minutes, pizzas smashed. food luke warm at best. my order was a preorder. so it was not last minute for 3 pizzas and 48 wings.. bread came burnt. we have so many choices as businesses to order for our staff. delivery fee is right, but service lacks. First time trying here to. Sadly disappointed. if you just want lunch in no rush might be the place for you if you are ordering for your office.. think twice.

This is the best pizza I've had in years!

I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Very tasty. And a mango iced tea. I was there with a friend on a Monday and one of the pastas was discounted to half price since on Mondays and Tuesdays the pasta is half price when you buy another one. I think that's how it goes. But very good and was not aware of the half-price special so it was an extra nice.

We love this NYPD pizza every time, but today was the best! We like extra sauce and they put the extra on top of the cheese, which kept it from making the crust soggy.... revolutionary! Perfect crust, delicious toppings, and super fast delivery. Thank you!

I chose NYPD because they advertise curbside pick-up. This did not happen. No place to park and it is only available if you call and tell them. No indication when you order online and no option for curbside. Expect to go inside.

I called this pasta restaurant for reservations and the same day, they did every request I had. Highly recommended for both meetings and friends as well for having an excellent atmosphere. All of my inquiries were addressed by their professional people as well. I am very happy that I found this place on time. Bravo!

I have been here 3 times and the restaurant is always clean, everyone is nice, I have tried the Calzone, pizza and wings and is very good and fresh out of the oven, I order to go last time recently and got my order fast.

We were seated right away, wasn't busy. The waitress took our orders and explained that it would take 15 to 20 minutes for our food to be done and walked away. Well she never came back, the manager brought our food to the table. We explained that we wanted to order more food but our waitress never came back. He said he would talk to her as he went back to refill our drinks. Well she didn't come back until the check was ready. The manager rushed back to our table explaining that he took a dish off. But we explained that, the issue is not fixed and that we were not looking for a free meal, just that our issue was addressed. GREAT PLACE GONE SO WRONG AND NO IDEA OF IT. Was really sad about it all. Someone should lose their job behind how it was handled!!!! Never wish bad on anyone, but the manager said "it was just a life lesson ". To that I just say WOW!

Fresh Mozzarella squares came out fast and hot. The pizza was very fresh. The sprinkling of seasoning on top was a nice touch.

Perfectly prepared slices. Everything tasted fresh. The crust was perfect. The sauce was not overpowering but certainly a Star. Great food!

Dessert portion sizes way too small. So I just ordered pick-up through doordash; no issues getting my order. Pizza was good as usual. I decided to try the garlic knots and I'd say pass on them. I get to my dessert (picture attached) and it was simply the tiniest slice of limoncello cake I've ever seen. I had to do a double take just because how small it was. It's priced at $6.89 on the doordash app (restaurant sets prices, it's $5.99 if ordered directly through NYPD Pizza) yet the slice thickness measures at approximately 1.75". Yeah it sounds neurotic to measure a dessert but I was that baffled by the size. I'd expect that for cheesecake perhaps but not cake. 3 out of 5 because the entrees like the pizza are actually good. Just skip on the overpriced desserts and sides to avoid disappointment.

Went into NYPD this evening at 6:33pm only to be told that they stopped taking orders at 6pm due to the curfew of 8pm. As per the curfew exemptions, restaurants are to continue to operate during curfew hours and for patrons to access those restaurants. Very disappointing since NYPD is my preferred place to go for Pizza, Not Anymore!

It's ok for a lunch meeting but nothing special.
