If your love Coffee, Chai lattes and Pan Dulce, you have got to try this place. From the street you would think the place doesn't exist, however the way to find this place would be the back entrance. It's a magical oasis of Mexican heritage and celebration. Get lost in the flavors baked with each Pan Dulce. You will moan with happiness and crave more before even taking a second bite. Magic in its most basic form. ... Some traditions are better experienced through food :)

Tres leches is a great Mexican inspired cafe, fresh drinks and sweet breads. The real draw here is the vibe, roll thru it feels like an escape from the downtown hustle.

Super cute cafe. Loved the eclectic atmosphere and that they were having a vendor shop set up when we were there. Found this place while passing through Phoenix and glad we stopped to grab some snacks for our road trip. People were friendly, pan was cute and delicious and super fresh! Coffee was way too sweet. Price was reasonable. Husband and I ordered: • Tres Mexicanas (latte) (not photographed) • Cafe Churro (latte) (not photographed) • Marranito (not photographed) • Heart Concha (photographed) • Bavarian Cream Empanada (photographed)

Mmmmmm their conchas were so good! Probably the softest and fluffier conchas I've ever had. Plus I got the heart shaped one that looks so cute. Their coffee was really good too and I like they have sugar free options, which I tend to go with. Inside was cute too and a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I guess they also have vendors selling cool stuff on the weekends.

So cute! It definitely holds its rich Latin culture with its bright colors, furniture and decor. The menu is great! Definitely fair prices, not pricey! Lots to choose from. I guarantee you’ll find something to try you’ve never had before. There’s something for everyone. Lots of places to sit out for large groups small groups or even just pairs of two staff is small but attentive. If you’re in the mood for something sweet and fulfilling go try them out

Unique morning perfection! Don't let the front of the building fool you. Drive around the back and once you enter, prepare to be amazed. Cute decor, plenty of bright, open seating and a great atmosphere. Some of the best coffee I've ever had and their pan selection is varied. Pick one, you can't go wrong. I'd be here every day if I lived close by.

First time there and I loved it, the decor is awesome and colorful. The coffee was great it was churro flavored 😋. The entrance is through the back of the alley.

Delicious Tres Mexicanos latte along with a cochinito. My daughter loved her iced strawberry horchata, She said it was the best she has ever had. Took some conchas for the road. We will definitely be back to try the concha donut. Had the opportunity to meet the owner who was super nice.

Coffee was so chocolately with a hint of cinnamon- tasted so fresh but soothing at the same time. We went too late to get the bakery :( we will have to come earlier so we don’t miss it again. It was our first time and the server helped us a lot. The cafe itself is so cute

This place was recommended by a co-worker. Stopped in one day to try the coffee and was surprised with all the pastries. My husband loves Mexican pastries and I've never been able to find a place that makes them like he likes. I brought my husband back the following weekend and he was so excited. He was like a kid in a candy store picking out all the pastries he remembers as a child. From his first bite to his last bite he could not get enough.

The next time I'm back in Phoenix, this will be one of my first stops. We just had family move out there and I'm excited that I'll have this place to visit when I go! Absolutely delicious coffee.

Coffee was great, ☕staff friendly and helpful, cute gift shop. But the establishment itself was very dusty, empty pastry shelves, it needs much cleaning and organizing, very dirty windows. They need better management.☹

Overall this is a cute little secret in the heart of the wild lands of Phoenix. The front is inaccessible so you have to wrap around a alley which I updated in maps. Be careful as there are many dissidents in the area after dark. As far as the inside is concerned what a fascinating little place filled with culture and art worth checking out as it is unique in many ways. It can only be described as a Mexican Starbucks. If you want a taste of the cultural and indigenous drinks popular in the Latino community check out this place.

Loved this cultural concept, menu, and staff so much that I bring any Phoenix visitors here to experience this cute and delicious Mexican cafe! We have tried multiple iced coffees but my favorite was the Flan iced coffee. They go above and beyond with these drinks with insane flavor and toppings! The area is older and very difficult to find this cafe, but it is so worth the find!

Love this coffee shop! There's always a vast array of pastries to choose from, I always get different variations of the empanadas and they're always so tasty! The coffee is also very good, so far the fall seasonal drinks are my favorites though! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Definitely recommend checking out Tres Leches Café, they have a great selection of fresh baked bread, drinks, and the vibe is super welcoming. It’s one of our family’s favorite places to stop by on the weekend for our morning coffee and pan fix. You will not be disappointed when I’m Phoenix next time, stop by.

This place is absolutely delicious! My only complaint is they don't have a location on the west side 😭. They decor is so cute and such an inspiration for my own kitchen lol! The staff are so wonderful and really have a welcoming presence to them. For my drink I ordered the Tres Aztecas and upon first sip I can say I am addicted already. The pricing is fairly reasonable as well. 10/10!

This is a cute little spot to get your coffe or otherwise drink in. They have multiple drinks from coffees to teas to smoothies. You can ask for almond or coconut milk in any of your drinks if you would prefer that over regular milk. They also have baby conchas in a cup, and different flavored cookies with different toppings. The atmosphere is one that you can feel relaxed and welcomed in. They have cute little hangout areas. Many themed and historical decorations around the walls and shelves. A small little hidden Gem!

Delicious coffee. Had the tres mexicanos hot and it was the bomb dot com. Wifey had the cafe horchata iced and was nice and savory. Will be coming back to try the other options. I’m excited for the Christmas options to arrive.

I recently tried a dessert at this café, and it was amazing! The tres leches cake was incredibly moist and sweet, just the way I like it. The flavors blended together perfectly, making each bite a delight. I'll definitely be back for more soon.

I loved the vibe as soon as you walk in. The sweet breads were soft and fresh! Good music, good service, colorful and positive decor!! I just wish there was a location on the east side of town by me! You have to go out of your way to the avenues, but it was worth it to me! I was also surprised at how steadily busy it was! At 1pm on a Friday afternoon! 8-30-19.

On a family vacation we stopped at Tres Leches Cafe. We all loved it. We left the place almost on a food coma of how much pan dulce we ate. If anything, the drinks were a little too sugary but no complains here.

First Time customer. It was a cold and breezy day and decided to take the kids somewhere different for some hot chocolate and man was this the perfect place! The hot cocoa was delicious and the woman even asked if we wanted to have the kids's not so hot. It was drinkable as soon as we got them which was perfect especially for my somewhat impatient 3 year old. My husband's and mine were hotter but drinkable which was delicious. Was a little disappointed there were no baked good we could have gotten with our drinks but we just drove to another place to puck some up. Definitely will come back again in the future.

The coffee flavors are unique and delicious. We had the pumpkin and horchata iced cafe 😋 a must try. Mexican bread is soft and tasty. This is definitely a hidden gem in Phoenix. If you haven't been...your missing out!

The staff is really friendly and the drinks are so good. I ordered the Tres Aztecas and the Cafe Horchata, and both were amazing. The conchas/pan are the best I've had out here, and I definitely had to go back a 2nd time after my first visit.

Very nice cafe! There's a small parking lot behind the cafe accessible via the alley. When you enter from the back, there's a little side area of the cafe where a couple arts and crafts vendors have some items for sale. I picked up a cool, hand-painted hat from a charming couple at one of the tables. The main cafe has a comfortable ambiance. The decorations are colorful, there's fun murals, and the seats are quite cute. There is a cabinet with pan dulce (pastries). If you want any of those, you get one of the metal trays and make your selections before getting in line. The pastries are large and very colorful. I had a dulce de leche empanada - the filling and shell were tasty. I ordered the cafe horchata - smooth and as advertised. It tastes like a blend of well-made horchata with a shot of coffee. Overall, great experience. Recommend that you stop by, if you find yourself visiting Phoenix. Cheers.

Sunday October 2nd, 2022 My family and I visited this place and bought conchas and other bread. While eating them we found a medium size hair inside embedded in the dough of the concha. I'll make sure never to visit here again, second time and the last. It was the most disgusting thing ever, please make sure the staff wears protective hair nets if possible. It is supper disgusting to have experienced that. Place did look dirty but I tried to give it a chance do to the amount of attention it gave on social media. Terrible and disgusting!

Me and my s/o make the trip from Scottsdale every couple weeks to pick up some conchas and a drink. Such an adorable, original concept and always top notch quality with incredible service. You can tell the owners and even the employees really have pride in this place and it feels like family whenever you walk in. Wishing they would make a location on the east side of town! But even so, we always being out of town guests out to the west side to give them a try. Do yourselves a favor and stop in!

Flavors were good but my hot drink wasn't hot and my wife's drink wasn't cold. Service was decent. Young lady was polite and knew the drinks. Bread was ok. Pineapple upside down was a little dry and crumblie. Should be moist and spongie. The 1st Generation T was great that my wife purchased.

This was my first time visiting and I will be back for sure. The store is clean, has comfortable seating and music plays as one is enjoying drinking their latte.

  • 5/5 R A. 2 years ago on Google
This jewel is as authentic as they come, coffee made "thick and tasty" so it still tastes like coffee but with a twist of different flavors of "lechita buena". Mini pan dulcé added onto your straw for a quick nibble and if you are lactose intolerant you can even opt in for a lactaid substitute. The decorations make you feel like you're home.

Good place, tried a couple times and many of the baked good. Not bad, wish it had more flavor to some of it. But great place and great experience. Pre-covid line was long both times, i went and took 15-20 mins to get stuff. Have not gone back during covid, but need to one of these days to help support our local businesses.

!CONSUMER BE AWARE!, All the hype for this place is based solely on the fact that they are culturally prevelent Café shop called "Tres leches". Anything that actually has coffee in it here comes warm even with extra ice added. Probably because they make "iced" coffee drinks with hot coffee...Cold drinks are supposed to be cold not warm, this place is sub par as a coffee shop as a desert/blended drink shop they are ok...maybe 6 or 7 options that are blended drinks but they are for the most part good...and the empandas were good as well! but if you get a blended drink don't expect it to come with coffee..cause that isnt even an option.
