😠 This place is absolutely awful. I scheduled an appointment about a month and half ago just for them to overbook it with another appointment. They claim they call to confirm appointments like 3 times when in reality they call once before canceling your appointment. Their employees are absolutely usel... People often mention appointment, call, service, time, care,

This place is absolutely awful. I scheduled an appointment about a month and half ago just for them to overbook it with another appointment. They claim they call to confirm appointments like 3 times when in reality they call once before canceling your appointment. Their employees are absolutely useless and threaten you about not seeing your pet when you simply share your concerns about them cancelling your appointment. They act as if they are the only vet in town. Avoid this place at all costs

Always very busy to the point of not even answering phones or half hour hold times. If you are going to be a "pet hospital" you should hire more staff to deal with the surge of patients. It's not your employee's job to fix your lack of long term financial planning during COVID , upper management......when I did get to talk to someone they were polite but you could tell stressed. I feel for your employee's.

I swore to never bring another animal to this place. However, I recently rescued a dog who desperately needed dental attention and they had the earliest available appt and most affordable pricing. So, I thought I would try again after a few years. I was told to bring him in the morning, the procedure would take 30 min and they would monitor him for 2 hours after. great. I dropped him off at 9, they did not even START the procedure until around 4:30 pm, when I showed up at 6pm (closing time), they said he was good to go. How is that safe or quality care to send him home before the 2 hour period? I received no updates during the day, in fact I had to call myself to check. Nobody notified me or asked permission to extract the 4 teeth that they did. News to me when I picked him up. I asked for an operation report or some kind of documentation on what they did, and was looked at like I had 3 heads to ask for this. If it wasn't for the schedule and the price, I would have never chosen this corporate-run hospital that has the worst customer service and patient care skills. Choose a private practice and save yourself the headache. Your babies deserve better <3

I’ve had 2 bad experiences and 1 okay here so far. -OKAY experience: I brought in my dog for kennel cough symptoms and the vet looked him over and prescribed medicine that helped it. But while we were talking, we mentioned our other dog had a certain condition and the vet wasn’t familiar with it which made me lose confidence. -Bad experiences: I made an appointment over the phone and showed up for it all to be told that they had no record of it and couldn’t see me. Waste of time. I made another appointment and they called and I didn’t answer because I was busy. They left a voicemail canceling my appointment so I called right back within ten minutes and they “No longer had the appointment.” Turns out they were short on staff so they would have cancelled anyway but they made a show of saying it was because I didn’t pick up the phone the first time. So then, I made another appointment (I know, I should have given up at this point), and they said I would get a call over the weekend to confirm my appointment. I never got a call or an email confirmation so I decided not to waste my time anymore. The customer service here sucks. Don’t waste your time.

This place is pure chaos! Do not take your pets here. This team is so negligent of your pets and have no type of order whats so ever. What’s the point of having a portal if all the information on there is wrong? On the ban-field portal My dogs birthday is way off and they weighed her in front me and somehow she’s 5 pounds heavier than she actually is. I have no faith that they’re actually doing what they’re supposed to be doing when you drop your pet off. You can never get ahold of anyone to Schedule appointments because they’re always so understaffed. Not to say, waiting an additional 30 minutes in line to check in for your appointment that you’re now late for. Shoutout to one of the banfield nurses who told another person in line that If you don’t tell banfield of any issues they simply won’t check for it. So much for comprehensive exams. I would steer clear guys!

Brought a six week old kitten in it was extremely sick wouldn't eat just shambles around the house if it moved at all. They examined her for like 30 minutes said oh she's fine probably just the runt of the litter. She only got worse we took her to different vet turns out she had fplv and died a day later. In the meantime a second cat in the litter was also showing poorly and as of now may not survive... thankfully the other 3 of the litter seem ok as well as the older cat in the house... all of which were exposed to this highly contagious disease. Now I can't blame them for it as they were rescued and abandoned so no telling what shape they were in. But the amount of incompetence that it takes to dismiss something like that is astounding. And that is being generous. They even had the nerve to call the next day to ask if she was OK when I they had any real concern they would have been able to find out what was wrong and definitely not given her a clean bill of health. They should just turn this area of pets mart only fit for cutting hair.into an extended grooming area because they are

We took our dog Ebony in and they talked my lady into getting a puppy plan. Not worth it! Our dog was given medication and we were told she would get better and she has gotten worse. Makes it seem like they lie just to get people's money by saying something and it didn't help. I spoke with the lady at the desk and was told that the doctor/vet would call me back and never received a call back. Poor customer service! Anybody know where a good place to take our puppy to where they will tell us what is actually wrong with her. Where they will tell you the truth and not be so concerned about getting a person to sign up for a puppy plan but the welfare of the puppy. Very disappointed!

I had given a review many years ago but seems as if it may have been deleted some how. Anyway I’m re-posting my review because I’ve always received superb service and my pup has always been cared for with love as he was their own. They are so gentle with him and I feel so secure when I drop him off. Front desk staff are always happy and friendly and my pup is always happy to be here. Thank you for everything you do. You are all very appreciated. Blessings.

Started using banfield in New Mexico and the service and care were great. Since moving to Phoenix I can’t say the same. They refuse to let you go into a room with your pet. They hardly answer their phone and if they do you’re on hold forever. You feel like a burden bringing your pet in. I have 4 dogs on wellness plans and one by one have been removing and switching vets. I could never recommend this vet or corporation to anyone

I’ve had Banfield for about 12 years with my dogs, so I love the service. But this location is always closing early! Website and voicemail says they close at 6 p.m., but it’s usually close when I call before that time. It’s 5:14 right now, and they’re already closed. Either please update the hours, or look into why this location is closing early, reducing service hours.

I’ve been taking my dogs to Banfield for many years and really like the services they provide. Their in house pet insurance is affordable and covers all vaccines & they even offer plans that cover dental cleanings.

Only good thing was the front office staff was nice. Feel ripped off! After waiting a month for an appointment with Dr. Dana Robinson to be seen for rabies vaccine, allergies, and to look at a spot on my dogs back i agreed to pay $160 for the visit. all that was done was rabies vaccine. Never got to speak with the Dr. Robinson as my dog was taken to the back and brought back to the lobby after. You would think for a month wait and $160 I could be brought into an exam room with my dog and then have a consult or some level of summary provided by the veterinarian. Guess I have to pay for another appointment to get my other concerns addressed (allergies, spot on back). I can say this it won’t be here. Don’t care to come back. Oh wait she forgot to sign the rabies vaccination certificate guess I have to. Rushed, missed concerns, and over priced.

This cold's actually customer service line. For the most part they're really good at their job, but like as many places sometimes they drop the ball. They have always been great and have always answered questions to help take care of my furbabies.

The staff are amazing! Took my furbaby for an emergency surgery, and they were very professional, super nice, well knowledgeable, prompt, and fast. Unfortunately, the surgery was very expensive, that is my only complaint.

I had a friend bring my dog for shots. I'm disabled. I sent some observations about my dog. When I called them a day or2 later, I couldn't get an answer on any things I brought up & the woman who answered couldn't answer 1 thing. Luckily he did get his shots. The rest of what I paid (approx. $60) was was in no way worth the money.

👍👍 This place has saved me thousands of dollars between visits, surgeries, vaccinations etc. It's a low cost vet clinic where they treat you and your animals so well. Keep in mind that because they're low cost, they are very busy so be patient with them. The doctors and staff are very nice and only sug...

👍👍 I drove from Albuquerque, New Mexico to see Dr. Frank. My parrot needed an annual check up and has an existing heart murmur. I needed a vet that knew her stuff and that’s exactly what I found in Dr. Frank and the entire staff. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. Alex even sent a text the morning of...

😠 Like others have said: don't. They will kill your pet. It has been months and I haven't stopped crying because of what they did to my little chihuahua. Our dog, Stitch, came in for a "routine dental cleaning". They told me everything would be fine and he'd be okay for the holiday season. And two we...

😠 This place only cares about MONEY. And they take advantage of desperate pet owners trying to save their babies. 😠 This vet cares more about affording her fake eyelashes than our sick and in pain pets. I have been going there for over 30 years and have always paid my bills. I am in a financial crisis right now and my dog needs attention. He suddenly went paralyzed in his hind legs. My puppy was in terrible pain...
