Unbelievably nice owner. We went in for some coffee and started talking to the owner. He was very kind and knowledgeable on various coffees from around the world. Owner was able to help my wife pick out an amazing bag of beans to take home. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the calzone and it was out of this world. Some of the best breakfast we have ever had. Everything is homemade and we watched them rolling the dough in the back. Amazing coffee, food and staff. Donā€™t walk, run to this coffee shop!!

Lifeboat Coffee Co. is a quaint little mom and pop shop thatā€™s definitely worth visiting. I go here all the time and itā€™s got a great feel to it. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable - it almost feels like someoneā€™s living room (in a good way!). They serve more than just coffee too! I usually get a blended rebel and theyā€™re delicious!

The best drip coffee in town. With them roasting their coffee beans in house. You get to experience a wide variety of coffee types.

An amazing cup of coffee, and an amazing ambiance. I love supporting small local businesses and lifeboat coffee company is one of them. Stop by for your morning pick me up, you wonā€™t regret it.

A friend and I enjoyed the grounded atmosphere and delicious coffee here. The customer service feels like a small town ma and pa shop, so itā€™s top notch without fuss or muss. It was a good setting for us to Watercolor and meet other patrons. Will go back.

Worst coffee I ever had! Not only was it bitter, mind you I like a dark roast, it tasted nasty stale like the guy was using 3 day old grounds. ewwww! I won't be back!

Very high quality coffee. The best drip coffee I have had around Phoenix. Very friendly barista. Kind of hidden at end of strip however not a place to miss!

Stood inside for 20 minutes and no one showed up to take my order. Kept calling to the back. Another patron was sitting inside and had coffee. Couldn't fins anyone to take my order.

Staff was very friendly, coffee was reasonably priced and tasted excellent! The atmosphere is cozy, the breakfast burrito is delicious and the only thing possibly better than the coffee are the iced versions!

Another place I really really wanted to like, but it just didnā€™t do it for me. The iced coffee had that typical leftover hot coffee taste, and there was nothing special about the food. Call me a millennial, but it just wasnā€™t the vibe for me.

Every blend of coffee is roasted to PERFECTION and there are a lot to choose from all over the world šŸŒ He even creates his own personal blends that are AMAZING please give this place a try if you're in the neighborhoodā˜ŗļø promise you won't be disappointed

Best coffee ever, great customer service. Highly recommend going here, you get high quality coffee rather than the sugar filled junk the ā€œbaristaā€ makes you at the franchise places.

The absolute best coffee Iā€™ve had in awhile! So sad that theyā€™re not selling hot foods right now, but their coffee makes up for it ā˜ŗļø! Every time I go everyone is so nice!! Love it!!

Kind of a hidden spot in town. To back up some other reviews - def. a cop hangout and they have some causes they support that might persuade you one way or the other. That aside - I went for coffeeā€¦ which is what I got. Itā€™s delicious. Maybe not as bold as Starbucks, but less acidic and better tasting. Service was super fast. I was in and out in about 90 seconds. I didnā€™t eat here today, but if you like coffee, this is the place. I will hit this again next time Iā€™m in this part of town.

Lifeboat is the neighborhood coffee shop where they call you by your name after one visit. Food is excellent, quality coffee any way you want it, vibe is relaxed and the service is impeccable. Haven't been to Starbucks since I started going to Lifeboat.

They blend and roast their own coffee in house and you smell the amazing aroma of coffee as soon as you come in. Itā€™s The best coffee around. The dirty Chai is my favorite and has spoiled Chai tea from all other places. They make everything fresh to order and the service is always welcoming. Great for sending a unique flavor to friends or family they will even ground whole beans for you if you donā€™t have your own grinder.

Disappointed with both blends of coffee ordered online. Iā€™m always looking for new sources of really good coffee and was looking forward to trying Life Boat. I was surprised when I opened the first bag (Admiralā€™s Blend) and there was no aroma - only an acidic smell . Ground in a burr grinder and brewed in a Zojirushi machine. Still zero aroma. Taste was ok but totally lacking the smell of brewed coffee. Tried the 2nd bag (Port of Pearl Harbor) with same results. NO aroma). I hope this was a bad batch. Really expected more.

This is a great coffee shop! It doesn't matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food was always made fresh. It was delicious. The coffee was great and the juices were refreshing. There are options for people with all sorts of dietary needs so you don't have to worry. The whole family will find something great to eat and drinks there. The staff are also quite friendly. A must visit!

Great coffee, hot and heavy breakfast sandwiches, and a funny shop owner. This shop has a homey vibe that reminds me of grandpa's house. Lifeboat is no pretentious hipster-magnet though which I thoroughly appreciate. Just a small business with a few regulars that like to hang out in a low-key setting.

The staff was nice, food was good. I don't recommend this establishment if you believe masks are needed to control the pandemic during a surge.

Just moved to the area. Came across this place on a Google search and hopped in my car on a whim. Less than a mile away but I would drive across town for it. The owner is really nice, and it's such a cute place. And a steal!
