The Best Arizona Burger I had ! Appreciate the healthy side options. Recommend to eat by 12 if museum is busy that day. Nice outdoor seating options, for those of us who hate being inside all day. At back of restaurant area free water and ice available , drinks are priced high, but I thought all other foods reasonable, especially considering the high quality.

Uhmm so I was expecting some basic overpriced museum food but this was actually a fantastic meal? I’m just blown away by my whole experience at MIM, including the unexpectedly tasty lunch! I got their deluxe burger and a side of onion rings. The burger was generously loaded, toasted brioche bun was buttery and crispy. Beef was fresh, all the toppings worked really well together. And the onion rings were the best I’ve had in a long time—thick, crispy and well seasoned in the outside, soft and oniony on the inside. A giant meal to fuel your energy for such a big, stimulating museum. The food wasn’t cheap, but it could’ve been much pricier given the venue. Overall not a bad choice for lunch if you’re here!

Classy cafe inside the Musical Instrument Museum (must have a museum entry ticket, not open to public). One side is a walk up counter and the other is like a lunch line. My kids enjoyed their hot dog and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was not basic kids Mac and cheese... it was very good. My chicken sandwich was a good quality chicken breast, very tasty. There is lots of seating but it does fill up fast. The wall decor is so cool, with quotes from different famous musicians.

Went to a David Cook concert there. The facility was great. The seat was comfortable. However, the idiots 2 rows in front of up stood up the entire concert. The weren't young rock and rollers but a 50+ year old guy with wife and 2 kids. He never even tried to dance, just stood there. They never sat down, ever. There was an older woman and young girl sitting right behind them & they saw nothing of the performers. I could see the performers from the head up. WOW!! I think there should be some level of courtesy applied by patrons that attend and if they aren't then the attendants should step in and do something. Never going back there to see anyone that would bring these kind of patrons.

This Cafe is located inside the Musical Instrument Museum and you do not need to pay entrance to the museum to eat here. There is a small cafe at the front for coffee, tea, drinks and a few small bites open during museum hours while the restaurant at the back serves only at lunchtime (currently 11:30 to 2:30pm). What I love most is that the restaurant sources their food locally so you can try different local treats like goat milk fudge, Hayden Mills flour cookies, ice cream from Gilbert, etc. I picked up a local farm box here at the cafe on a weekly basis and know they are very welcoming whether you or a museum patron or not. It also has a beautiful outdoor patio where you can eat or just relax. It's a little secret place I share with friends visiting. Of course the museum is amazing, but if museums aren't your thing or you just want to try something much healthier and more unique than the chain restaurants at Desert Ridge be sure to check out the cafe.

Ordered the BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, and tomato sandwich w avocado). They brought it to the table with the bread burned to a crisp-- black on both sides. The burned bread was dry, no mayo. No avocado on the sandwich either. A sad waste of $ and time. People sitting next to us were served same scorched/dry sandwich. I'd recommend grabbing a bite elsewhere before coming to the MIM.

Decent food, we didn't want to leave the museum to go elsewhere, which the museum is an all-day affair. Be prepared for a hall hour wait for food from the time you order.

An unusual eatery inside a wonderful music museum. More of a cafeteria-like ordering system. Gotta be in good shape to walk a long distance from parking lot.

Enjoyed the food and appreciated the good service during Brazil musical weekend. I love events at MIM.

The food is pricey here, but it makes up for it by being fresh. The vegetables in the sandwich were not wilty. At this cafe, you can choose from cold deli items, and I also saw they had a "buffet-style" hot deli section that you can order from. There was also an assortment of snacks and cold drinks- including cactus water. Plenty of seating, and the interior is clean. You can also enjoy some rays of sun in the spacious patio outside.

We enjoyed having lunch on the outside patio for both the Beats Bar and Cafe Allegro. We ordered apple& cheese and tuna fish sandwiches which were delicious and freshly prepared. The portions were large enough that we could have shared a sandwich. There are bottled beverages, chips and baked goods for dessert.

There is the Cafe and the cafeteria, and the food took about 15 minutes to receive the grill order. We sat outside and the scenery is beautiful. It is slightly pricey but for the quality I was pleased! It is much better than other museum food, and the coffee was really good!

Food is expensive but tasty. You can sit inside or outside. Cafeteria style. You stand in line to get your food and then find a seat.

Food was good. Veggie burger was yummy, and I enjoyed hot, fresh sweet potato fries. My friend got meal that menu said was gluten free, but it had some wheat grain in it. Oh no! Patio is very nice, so we ate there.

Great burger, and very good veggie gluten free burger. Served cafeteria style. Everything cooked fresh and brought to your table. Reasonable prices. Worth eating here while visiting MIM

Really good grass fed burgers. Nice outdoor seating area. Non-alcoholic drinks are a bit overpriced...

I had side salad and meatballs with tomato sauce. It was good. Not cheap, but it is a good cause. Relatives really enjoyed eating outside. Nice choices.
