Very disappointed... Don't go here... We thought it would be a good idea to come on a weekday so that there wouldn't be too many people. Indeed, there weren't too many people, but that didn't stop them from making us wait more than 40 minutes for the race. Eventually, it was our turn. It was very disappointing... After one round, the cart I was on refused to move forward. Everyone had to stop and the lady came up to me to check what the problem was. She did something to the cart and let us start driving again. Not even half a lap later, the same happened again. They gave me a new cart and we could all start again. Two laps later, we all had to stop AGAIN because someone else's cart stopped working. We lost so much time and so many laps. It was extremely disappointing... It would have been great should they have let us start over from the beginning of the race after these problems but they refused to do so... The racing is also wildly overpriced. You pay 23 dollars for one race, which, if you're lucky, takes about 5 minutes... Added to that, you have to pay 7 dollars for a yearly subscription! 30 dollars for 40 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of, well, not even driving... Pathetic! I don't think I'll be visiting again and I wouldn't really recommend others to do so either.

Great fun. Haven't tried electric karting before and this K1 location was fun! Was busy right after holiday season so there was a wait. We did a 3-race package (for 3 adults and 1 jr) and spend over 3.5hrs to get all of our races in. Only complaint was while they kept our group together, they seemed to place groups randomly and let a few heats go without a full roster going out. This made for a longer wait to get our races in. Still good fun and honestly, pretty decent value (some people were complaining about prices in reviews).

Should've kept the old facility up and running while the new one was being worked out. Terrible planning by this corporation and annoyed that I bought a membership to be able to go one time in the last 2 years. They should just stay closed at this point.

My son absolutely love it here! K1 is an awesome place for amazingly fun family time, and even for employers for super fun team building events. We always have the best time here. I do recommend going to their website before visiting for FAQS. Their are hieght requirements and safety information so you can have the best experience when you visit. You will not regret it!

It’s a little way over priced for what you get and the race doesn’t last very long. But other than that it was definitely fun. This is a perfect date idea or a place to come with family and friends.

Great Customer Service! Nice, friendly and helpful staff. The street leading to this Indoor Go Kart Track is horrible! Plenty of parking! The prices to ride on the GO Kart Track here is a little expensive! This Indoor Go Kart Track is located by the freeway!

We love coming to K1 for company activities! It’s a great place to blow off steam and put your skills to the test. My team of guys really enjoy how the K1 staff make it fun and competitive. As the team leader I appreciate the value for the mo why we spend here. It’s not a cheap coMany activities ugh but I always feel like we get more value out of it than what it costs. The food is always really good too. I’m surprised each time because often places like this just focus on the fun but not the food but I’ve yet to be disappointed with the pizza or wings or burger. These guys have it together! Thanks K1 for doing a great job!

Save your money and do not go here. We found a deal online that discounted two races or gave a 25% discount on your purchase. Apparently this location doesn't accept the offer (even though that wasn't in the disclosure). With a $7 mandatory "annual membership" (even though we're from out of state on vacation and brought our own helmets), it came out to over $90 for three people to do a single race (8-10 minutes)!! You'd think that a business that might go under due to covid closures, etc would want ANY business but no... So we decided to play a few arcade games while we figured out what else to do that isn't stupidly expensive. We happily changed out our dollars for tokens and were going to order food and then were told that the entertainment area (i.e. the lobby) was only for guests who paid for the races and were asked to leave. Seriously?? We're paying customers and it was literally dead - we were the ONLY people there and trying to give them some money. I will never come here again and I hope you don't make the mistake either.

While we have enjoyed coming here over the years I am very disappointed in how they are currently conducting business. Last year we bought our son a bunch of credits for Christmas. They then closed for renovations/relocation. Now that we are upon Christmas again I was hoping to get a refund for the present that was unable to be used from last year. They have not responded to emails. Deleted my post on there blog. No one has contacted me. I understand the struggles for them are real. However it’s also my hard earned money.

I took my niece and nephew but my husband and I have a 2 year old so when we found out the wait was an 1:40 so the girl suggested we create a profile and make a reservation and come back. So we did and came back at out appointment time (35min before our race time). When we came back, we were told they don't take reservations. I explained what the other worker had said. The girl at the desk found our names on the "list" and said it would be about 30 to 35 min wait. After 2 HOURS we finally got to ride. The guy giving SAFETY instructions spoke faster than anyone I've ever heard and right next to the loud track. The people in my group kept saying they couldn't hear him and he just kept saying, " I know, it's loud in here" but then didn't repeat himself and didn't slow down. He said three people in my group would need boosters but then didn't convey that to the people getting us in our cars and so they were struggling driving well. My car died and my niece's car died during the race and the workers commented as they pushed me off the track, that this was like the 5th time that day that car died and they should probably pull it. The concession stand was only manned some of the time, the bathrooms were disgusting and none of the process is clearly explained or posted. I have never seen a worse run and dangerous establishment. Only go here if you plan to spend a whole day for a 3minute ride.

In all honesty this place is quite the step down from octane raceway. Hidden in a back ally of Phoenix it's not too inviting, as you first walk in you are greeted by an employee at the counter. I was helped by Cameron, she was extremely helpful and knew her stuff.if it weren't for the interaction with her I would have probably given this place 1 star. I did two races and they were interesting to say the least. With seats, peddles and a steering wheel that doesn't adjust, unlike Octane, the karts seemed old and out of date.

Wow what a great experience! Went to K1 for a team builder and the staff was great. The orientation was good and all levels of driver felt comfortable. The track is fun and the carts are quick but feel appropriate for this size of track. The helmets were plenty and you get race results after each heat. We had a mini Grand Prix and all the drivers had fun. Recommend they have a soda fountain but other than that the snack bar has bottled soda, popcorn, candies and what looked like pizza but we had some food catered. So just bought bottled drinks. Plenty of seating to sit by the track and an actual winning nascar!

We showed up on a Saturday and there was understandably a wait. So we waited our estimated hour and were called up in queue. We put our headsocks and helmets on, went through the 411 on safety and how the cart works etc. When we went to the announcer to see which cart we were assigned to he suddenly couldn't find us. This happened to 2 other couples, as well. He told us it would be another hour before we could race, then dismissed us and said we just didn't understand how busy they were on Saturdays and we had to wait our turn.....what???? He was the one who called us up. When we went up front they were kind and apologized, but still never acknowledged that someone messed up somewhere, and said that they were just busy on Saturdays (which was never the issue). We asked for a refund and would come back another time. We were refunded everything except a small fee which we're unsure what the fee is for and nobody is answering our calls or returning them when we leave a message. The voicemail is suddenly full as well.

Place is fun but your going to be waiting forever to get on the track. Good luck if you try calling for wait times. Pretty positive all the phones in that place got thrown in the trash.

Wait time was long, but was much more worth it compared to Octane as Octane was less organized and didn't have penalties or punishments like the racing flag system at K1. Karts are fast and handle well. Would recommend. (Attached pictures are ones I took of the Junior races)

  • 5/5 Michael S. 2 years ago on Google
Great fun! Race against the clock. Have a score to settle at work? Or a challenge with an enemy. Don't have a fight. Come here.

  • 5/5 Oracle Of D. 5 months ago on Google
Would categorize this as F5.5 (no such thing by the way). This is a step above something you'd find at Boondocks. While I don't know the exact speeds, visually the Junior vehicles seem to be speed limited to 20-25mph and adults at 25-30mph. They had one track open the day I visited and I paid for two races for my kids each. Didn't blow up my wallet. The races were approximately 12 laps at about 30 seconds per lap. the whole thing was a great way to spend 2 hours. Got a chance to look under the hood and they use electric motors powered by a pair of old school lead-acid batteries. They seem to be appropriately concerned about safety. Your kid may get into collisions and walk away with some bruises. Pay attention to the rules and the bruises will be the worst of it. The junior cars are great for the 10-year-old age range where they're too old for the little kid stuff, but not quite old enough for the teenage stuff. Highly recommend for the little video gamer types.

Faster and more fun than the Scottsdale competitor in my opinion. I tried both out this week and I’ll return to K1 for the adrenaline !

My teens had a great time! We were impressed with how seemless the staff moved riders through. We were also impressed that they held to the rules and kept it a safe environment. The staff was plentiful and professional, as well as friendly. The establishment is large and clean. My only suggestion is to add to the food selection. It would be great to have some pretzels/nachos with cheese and such.

The cashier was amazing! It's was my son's 16th birthday party. She put his ice cream cake in the freezer helped me register the entire party group! The driver workers ensured everyone's safety. One member lost their jewelry and it was found and returned...took amazing pics! Just a wonderful overall time! Can't wait to return for the adults only this time! Look the decor as well!

The new building is awesome ! I wish they had more video games to fill up some of the space (preferably pin ball machines ) *hint*hint* but very awesome still. They have a claw machine that has gift cards as the prizes with a 50$ hidden one some where in the mix. The new building has 2 tracks now so gets the lines moving faster I suppose but still was a hour and a half wait in-between races. Prices are about the same it seems maybe a few dollars more but not by much. Member ships cost about 8-9$ after taxes races cost about 29$ ish after taxes but they do offer bigger bundles which make each race cheaper if you go that route. Any unused races are stored to your profile and do not expire which is nice. All in all my son and I love it. We do wish they would limit races to more advanced in one and less advanced in a other so we can get out there and have some real fun with out bumping others to do so but other then that fun experience.

I love it, it is fun it is kinda pricey in my opinion but it is well worth it. The kids and husband all had a blast racing against each other even my mom got in the action. The kids had fun racing grandma! We might come again to use our yearly membership.

  • 4/5 Allan De Y. 9 months ago on Google
Karts are pretty quick and fun to drive. Price isn't too bad to race, helmets and head socks provided. The staff are sticklers that the helmet visors have to be all the way down (not even half down is satisfactory) and the visors/helmets are not vented at all so it can get fairly uncomfortable in them. Misters on the track help somewhat with keeping you cool.

Awesome and seamless re-start at new facility. Well coordinated team, Justin, in particular, kept races flowing, going above and beyond. It’s been a long wait, but Phoenix now has its K1 Speed flavor back that we knew and loved, because it was done right. And, the new expanded facility promises to be even more. Bravo

  • 5/5 Pat M. 5 months ago on Google
The new facility is nice with lots of room. The cars are a big improvement from the old ones. Once this track ramps up the racing will be competitive!

We walked in with a larger group (sorry, tried to set up a group event but missed the email deadline from sales people) and they were super accommodating. We were about to start the race when the front helper (sorry I forgot your name, you were awesome) ran to come tell the track worker that someone from our party—who we didn’t tell the front guy he was going to be there or late—made sure he was in the race with us. That was really cool and appreciated. We had a great time! Thank you front guy who worked Sunday morning! You made the experience so good!

This place is awesome. Took my 11 y/o son and he had so much fun. Karts are faster than Octane and easy to drive. The place is nice and has lots of room to chill out. They even have pool tables and lounge if you want to race a few times and be there for a while or have event. Great experience, I recommend anyone who loves to race go-karts try it.

The staff is really chill, the place is clean, the helmets tend to have a small but they give you head socks, the carts are smooth and good working condition. We did two races, worth the money if you don't do it too often, but will definitely do again soon.

Awesome place to get down on some driving and clear your head.

  • 5/5 Bryan D. 3 years ago on Google
This place was great! They have rules so people arent crashing into each other, its timed based so no need to worry about active placement in the race, flags to help drivers in front to pull to the side a bit to let the faster people drive by and fun for people of all ages. Clean and sanitary facilities, a few arcade games to play while you await your next race and a free race on your birthday week. Great place for a date night post quarantine and lockdowns.
