This place is too pretentious for comfort. It’s all about the views, but they’re obstructed by the shades. The salmon and the octopus were bland and flavorless. The clientele were so full of themselves. If you’re going for the views, save yourself the expense and attitude and pack a picnic at one of the parks.

It was an amazing experience. I went with my wife for dinner on our anniversary. They were very generous and gave us complimentary drinks and dessert. The food was really good especially their creamy mushroom soup. It was a memorable night for our special occasion.

WOW WOW WOW!!! My kids took me here for Mother’s Day and I gotta day this was the best experience that I’ve EVER had for brunch. The service was incredible, the food melted in the mouth, the patio was amazing. There is truly nothing else to say about this place. This was a great dining experience. I am blessed, Happy Mother’s Day.

We had a great dinner here recently. There was a huge monsoon storm and the view was incredible, followed by a screensaver worthy sunset. The food was great and they had a good cocktail and wine selection. I really couldn’t complain about anything. I got streak and it came out perfectly.

This is one of our favorite fine dining restaurants. The food and service is always phenomenal! We are usually seated at one of the booths with a view. It’s more private and intimate which we love for our date nights.

If you are looking for a great date night spot or a special occasion celebration, you should come here. Price wise, it’s on the higher end but the views and the service make it worth it. The sea bass was phenomenal, the green curry dish was just OK. Appetizers were on point as well. Do not order the Marrakech cocktail. It was pretty bad. It tasted like green chili that was blended with fruit juice and poured over ice with alcohol. I watched another table order it after me and make a disgusted face and say “this makes me want to vomit” when they tasted it as well. It was quite humorous. All of the other drinks were really good. We would likely return and bring out of town guests here. Recommend going an hour before sunset because the views are beautiful.

Delicious food, wonderful service, and delightful scenery. The lobster roll was buttery and flavorful as was the chicken club sandwich. I would definitely come here again.

Had a lovely date night dinner here. LOVED the cocktails (the Mekong is my personal favorite). The entrees were good too. The butterscotch budino for dessert is a must try!

If you like to invest in creating memorable experiences, then you'll LOVE elements at Sanctuary on Camelback! My lady and I recently celebrated her birthday, graduation, and application to medical school with dinner at elements. Our server, Sean, knew exactly the right meals to recommend for us. Chef Ty led the kitchen crew in creating the perfect food with impeccable presentation. All while overlooking the mountains at sunset. If you are a person who knows the value of investing in an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime, then reserve a table at elements. You'll LOVE it!

For a first time visit, the service offered by Juluio was very professional, entertaining and very engaging. The food though pricey was very tasty. I loved the scenery and how The Element restaurant was tucked in the quiet cool of the mountain. The parking is at a distance, but vallet parking is available

We stayed the weekend for a birthday celebration and ate in the restaurant several times. Their service was great, food was excellent and the sunset views are amazing. Breakfast- must try the breakfast fried rice. That huge strip of bacon is like a bacon steak! The siracha honey is awesome. Ask for more. The chilequilles were just ok. The beca sandwich was another favorite. The potatoes are to die for! Dinner - the filet was cooked to perfection, the short rib was pretty good, pot of mashed potatoes were tasty and the burrata salad was good. Not photographed were the dumplings and they were a table favorite. Great vibes, great service. Recommend checking it out!

We made this our first dinner spot on our trip to Scottsdale. While it’s expensive it’s an experience. Food was pretty good but the view was better. We came 30 mins before sunset which I would recommend! We didn’t valet as I find it strange to valet you car when you can literally see the parking spots. Valet is free so it wasn’t about the $ but more on principle I guess? Lol

Great food and excellent view. The staff was first class. We took an anniversary trip from Dallas. Our server JC made the evening pleasurable with excellent customer service.

Our favorite spot in town. The food is always delicious. Best steak in town. My wife loves the Osso Bucco. We reserved the private room for a family event one night and the service and experience was just amazing. Not to mention that I took my now wife there on our first date. It definitely is our special spot.

Elements had great service, friendly staff. From a culinary standpoint the scallops were cooked perfectly as the seasonal menu item. The wagyu dumplings were good although the filling wasn't quite up to expectations. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and the whipped potatoes had the consistency of a puree. Overall too much salt in most of the foods. The bourbon Gelato was very smooth and not overly sweet (think of it as married to salted caramel) and the lime basil sorbet is stunning (a little goes a long way). I would consider coming back again as the view is wonderful.

This restaurant is top notch. The service, the food, the atmosphere, the view... Great valet! We had the Chilean sea bass and the swordfish special - both really good but the swordfish was so flavorful and had well mixed spices, that it stood out! The view is to die for and I would highly recommend sunset watching while having the fine dining experience! Service was great and very attentive but not overbearing! The valet people were fast and courteous!!! I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it! Make a reservation up front.

Visiting Scottsdale on a girls trip with my 2 friends and we dined here for a “fancier” lunch. The views can’t be beat, and the food was likely the freshest we’ve ever had. Our waiter, Julio is an actual ray of sunshine, that’s the best way to describe him. He made our experience an 11/10, and embodies all the qualities a true culinary professional should have!!

Top notch restaurant with excellent food, service and atmosphere. Elements is a high end restaurant with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding city. It’s a must visit in Phoenix. I’d recommend getting to your reservation early and having a drink at the J bar. Phenomenal food, pictured: wedge salad and Korean bbq short rib with wasabi potatoes (split)

Tried this beautiful place last night and the food was good but warning the med rare steak comes out very rare. Our favorite part was the dessert. It was so well put together and great flavors. I put 1 star due to the service taking 3 hours and the waiter stopped being friendly after we had ordered a cheaper bottle of wine. He did not seem happy after that. As a chef I love good food but good service is very important and so I don’t think I will be going back.

Review is based only on drinks. The presentations are great, but the drinks are boozy and not well balanced. I think the drinks can be made a bit better and that is the only reason, I did not give 5 stars. The ambience is outstanding, as is the service. You should come here, as the view is spectacular.

  • 5/5 Clara P. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely loved our dinner here. The raw bar is a must-have. You can pass on the wagyu dumplings. The calamari and tomato salad were a large sharing size! They even brought us a birthday dish to celebrate!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to enjoy for special occasions. I always request to sit facing the window so you get to see the best view of the sunset off the side of the mountain. However, only a few people can fit at these specific tables and they can’t guarantee you a seat since those spots are limited. I have always loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. We came earlier and got a drink at Jade Bar while we waited for our seat to be ready. A friend ordered the soup special to start which was the lobster bisque (not pictured) but unfortunately ended up sending it back as it was very very fishy. I ordered KOREAN BBQ SHORT RIB wasabi whipped potatoes, pickled vegetables sesame garlic crunch. However, I switched the wasabi whipped potatoes for regular mashed potatoes. This was a delicious dish but I can’t handle spicy which is why I changed out the wasabi for regular potatoes. The meat fell apart and was so full of flavor, tender and juicy. I made my drink into a mocktail because I don’t drink alcohol. My drink was THE FRENCH SPY vodka and strawberry, with sassafras and lavender. They swapped out the vodka with a strawberry juice and sparkling water. It was slightly sour with a little bit of sweet. This drink was refreshing and extra yummy. My friend ordered TWO WASH FARMS CHICKEN shallot whipped potatoes, swiss chard pancetta, lemon chicken jus. The chicken was juicy and the lemon wasn’t overpowering. The potatoes were extra creamy and smooth. So tasty. We ordered a side of BRUSSELS SPROUTS red dragon pork belly, thai basil. This side was really great but it packed a bit of heat that I was unaware of so I couldn’t enjoy them as much as I wanted to. My friend enjoys spice and even said they were more on the spicy side. Overall the experience was wonderful. I’m looking forward to going back but may wait until there are more non seafood and spicy options.

Went to Elements for my birthday. The food was excellent. We had a seat that viewed Camelback Mountain. Shannon our main server was fantastic!!! I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion!!!!

What a beautiful place for dinner. We went after dark and the city lights were beautiful but I really want to return when there is daylight so we can experience beautiful camelback mountain. From the time we pulled up and handed our keys over to have our car parked the service was great. Not the best hostess. She attempted to set us, (just two people,) at a HUGE table inside. We wouldn’t have been able to talk over such a large table but when we requested something smaller and more intimate she kindly put us outside at a most amazing table with a beautiful view. (I had requested this when I called in the first place) Service was great. Waiter charming but not overly so. Great menu selection. We started with the octopus appetizer then on the Chilean sea bass, ending with the olive oil lemon desert. Fabulous! All the food came out slow which gave us time to visit and we didn’t feel a bit rushed. I loved that part. The waiter was present and accessible but not always interrupting our conversation to check on us. I appreciated that. All in all a great experience and will be back for breakfast soon.

Such a great place to have a birthday or anniversary dinner. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Loved how our server Bradley answered all of our questions and gave us some great suggestions from the menu. Would highly recommend!

We just had our first wedding anniversary celebration at this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, the service was exceptional, thanks to our friendly server Michael. His knowledge of the menu was perfect. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcomed and valued. The food was amazing, the view incredible, ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. We'll definitely be returning next time in Scottsdale.

I really cannot recommend this place enough. Every food item we had was better than the next. I’d highly recommend the sea bass and short rib, but I don’t think you can go wrong with anything else on the menu. The views are beautiful, and the service is high class. The candy bar dessert fell a bit short of expectations, so try something else! Free valet btw, just gratuity.

Exceptional in every way. Food was as good as any place I’ve eaten. Seabass and vegetarian entrees were amazing! Scenery outside incredible don’t sit inside. Service was only part that was average. Better at breakfast.

We stopped into Fog Harbor Fish House on a rainy day during a recent trip to SF. Not only was the clam chowder delicious, but the freshly baked bread bowl was also amazing and the customer service was very good. Highly recommend.

By far my favorite fine dining restaurant in the valley! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. So far my favorite dish has been the swordfish. I also found a new love in the spicey mango martini. The desserts and coffee are also delicious. The cherry on top is the atmosphere. I can't explain the beauty and elegance of this place. Guess you'll have to check it out for yourself.

I don’t usually write any reviews but We had a terrible service here! They don’t even deserve a 1 star review! We had a reservation and had to wait for so long and the manager came out with a bad attitude and said sorry u have to wait longer! (Just because we wanted an outside dining)! What’s the point of making a reservation? Very bad attitude Never coming back!!!!

I’ve been in the industry for years. And you can find good food anywhere these days. But when you find a server who is absolutely amazing, and makes the experience that much better, it sticks with you. Our sever, Sean was more than excellent. He went out of his way to give the best dinner experience I’ve had in a long time. He had so much knowledge about the menu and you can tell he has fun educating his guests. Such a real down to earth person, which is great especially these days with covid. He set the mood for our stay and we left beyond full and very happy. Thank you again Sean for making our experience amazing. And the Buser too, Leo. Elements has a great team. Also cheers to the chef. I normally stop eating when I’m full, but this night, I ate everything haha. Thank you again.

Tucked away from the rat race of PHOENIX,is a Resort called SANCTUARY that is aptly named. Nestled within the Santuary is ELEMENTS, a restaurant you've got to experience to believe. CHEF BEAU MACMILLAN is a genius, creating Decadent, Asian-influenced dishes that are through the roof. Don't know what's on the menu now, as it changes often to take advantage of the seasons. The Service and the View are as great as the food. You won't be disappointed. Indulge. Savor. Enjoy!!

In love with this beautiful view. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Also, the waitress assistant Dennis was very nice and show more information about the restaurant bar. I was very delighted with my salmon dish. In the bar I enjoyed a glass of lola's Russian wine. I would definitely came again. 100% recommended.

This is a very elegant, romantic place - we went here for our anniversary and The service was spectacular (an extra star for that). The mushroom guyere tart - absolutely Delicious!! Two wash chicken - delicious however a little on the salty side. I wasn’t a fan of the candied pancetta on it though. It is a big portion - we ended up sharing one. The photo attached is shared portion that each of us got. Desert - Strawberry Meringue - being a meringue it is hard to break and eat. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. It was extremely sweet, we ended up taking a couple of bites and leaving the rest. I would love to go back and try more things off their menu. The views are amazing during sunset - grab a couple of drinks during sunset if not the food. It’s worth it !
