Went in to buy a gift for my wife and was ready to spend some money. I had read the reviews and was going to find a good jeweler that was close to my house. Walked in and waited my turn for 10 min while he finished helping someone else. When it was my turn, I started to speak with a man, but almost immediately he interrupted me and asked me if he could just take a minute to give something to the lady behind me that was obviously a regular and proceeded to spend 10 minutes with her while I waited again for my turn. It didn’t seem like they would be done for at least another 10 min. I was really insulted. It was obvious that he didn’t think I was going to be worth his while. The lady that He skipped me to serve had a bunch of old ugly watches and I think he had replaced the batteries. that was more important than serving me. I get the feeling he is someone who mostly just fixes jewelry. He showed her every watch and she asked questions about each one and then I couldn’t take anymore so I left Oh well...went to sax fifth and spent more than I wanted to, but they treated me like a king! I won’t be back but I don’t think he cares. if you want to try this place make sure that you have a bunch of time available

Jay is extremely honest and knowledgeable. He’s help me out a number of times. One time in particular He help me return a diamond ring to a local jeweler in town after the 90 day return policy had expired. He truly has the customers best interest at all times! 10/10

Casually stopped in just to check out some jewelry and walked out with a gorgeous gold rope chain. Jay is by far the best at what he does. We didn’t know anything about gold & he educated us to be smart buyers. Also can’t beat the prices! Thanks for all your help Jay! We love our purchase.

I took my father's watch in today, my father gave his watch so my son (his grandson) to remember him by. I means a lot since my son's "Gramps" passes away a year ago. Jay Goldman did not charge me for the battery even though I expected to pay. He also set the time and date (which I have no idea how to do). When my son got home from his day program he was thrilled that "Gramp's" watch was fixed so he could wear it. I could not have asked for more from Jay Goldman, this business is A+ in my book. Thank you for bringing a disabled grandson tremendous joy.

Walked in and the guy barely looked at the gold and coins I brought in. Insulted me by telling me the silver I brought in had plaster in its handle (which it doesn’t) and said the rest of what I brought in was worthless. Sold it to a pawn shop down the street no problems. Felt like the guy didn’t have any money to buy and if true then should have just said that instead of being a jerk. Total waste of time for selling silver and silver coins and gold earrings (didn’t even look at them ). Go somewhere else this place is not worth the time if you’re selling stuff.

I went in with my watch that wasn’t working anymore...he cleaned the corrosion and swapped out the battery and got it working again all while I waited! He was very helpful and really knowledgeable...I can tell he’s been in the business for a long time. And while I was there, I asked him about gold prices and he educated me on gold value. So I had a ring at home and I shopped around for prices and he did indeed have the best highest price. I’m really glad I came in and highly recommend going there.

Jay was nothing but kind to us the first time we walked into his store! Gave me a great amount for my jewelry and is fixing a beautiful piece of mine. He knows a lot about jewelry and shares his knowledge with his customers. Felt very comfortable there and will always recommend him to my friends and family and anyone looking for a trustworthy jeweler.

Jay made a beautiful heart shape necklace from diamonds my mother had on a few rings. He listened to my request on how I wanted to have my necklace designed. The necklace was even better than I had hope for. Thanks Jay!

We came in to get a wedding ring resized. While we waited our turn, we saw him dealing with someone who was obviously a repeat (and happy) customer. We also got excellent service and advice from him and left with a better quality ring than we walked in with. We were very glad we went to Jay. I would absolutely go back for any jewelry needs.

Unless you’re looking for turquoise jewelry, go anywhere else. There are multiple jewelers in a quarter of a mile radius. The store is grody, the staff is not friendly or attentive, and the selection is cheap/gaudy looking. Really, there are two other jewelers and jewelry buyers less than a quarter of a mile from this place. They both are friendly and have a wonderful selection.

This jeweler really knows his fine jewelry! I had a twenty year old wedding ring that needed the ring guard fixed. I was always told that the ring guard was necessary because my fingers were too small to size the ring to fit. Jay igured out how to size the ring as well as fortify the prongs on the diamonds and the band of the ring. His service price was very reasonable, the workmanship was superb and timely done. I also was able to witness how he handled other clients. He Is so respectful of everyone no matter their age or circumstance. Each time he would go the extra mile.

Ive had jewelry repaired, purchased jewelry, sold silver & gold, and Ive stopped by just to have him clean my wedding ring! I keep returning because of Jay's excellent customer service skills, his enthusiasm about the industry, and because he shares his knowledge freely.
