It’s been 10 years since my last visit to factory outlet. Remembering the good value and fabrics on offer, I was looking forward to exploring the warehouse and finding great fabrics at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the days of the factory outlet being good value and an enjoyable shopping experience are long gone. These days the warehouse is filled with shabby off cuts, extortionate prices and uninspiring fashion selections. Adding to the disappointing offerings is inconsiderate and inattentive service, with the staff far more occupied talking to themselves than helping customers. If you’re looking for beautiful Thai fabrics... don’t waste your time here. Is this living up to Jim Thompson’s vision?

Update : 31OCT23 5th floor is temporary closed. All merchandise on 5th fl have been moved to 4th fl., which means, merchandise are sold off and no new merchandise to sell. This outlet used to have various goods in varieties and quantities for sale but of late, the goods are getting lesser in quantities and selections/designs, eg cushion covers are mainly made of silk while cotton made are not available. Cloth (hand) bags design are also limited and mostly with elephant motifs. The display shelves are with limited merchandises and several have nothing to display. Pre-Covid, there used to be surely some items to buy but now the selections are really limited.

After trying the fabric market in Chinatown and Little India (very disappointing), I’m relieved I found this outlet. The fabrics are amazing and pretty affordable and the staff are fantastic! I’ve been two days in a row now and am planning on coming back next week. Nothing in Thailand comes close to Jim Thompson in terms of quality and artistry. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I honestly couldn't comprehend the reviews complaining about a Factory Outlet store selling out of season things. It is a factory outlet, selling things at a discount. What is more to understand? Honestly I do think the collection here is reasonable, although not much choices available. You can see that it's a collection from a specific season. For the more higher range collection of silk and linen dresses, they do offer reasonable discount prices which can be worth the money. Additionally, I've also noticed interior designers visiting the store to purchase related fabrics. They have Jim Thompson signature print silks that you could purchase by the meter. The price is reasonable, around THB1000/meter before discount. The closest station is Bang Chak, and then 10 minutes walk to the store.

As with any outlet, it just depends on what stock is trundling through at that point in time & whether you spot anything you fancy. Clothes will always be hit & miss - but you may very well find gems. Homewares is great, throw cushion covers, napkins, placemats etc. But the real kicker is all of the amazing fabric that's available. Wow.

Good selection of Items but the prices are still expensive. They were offering 20% extra discount at check out tho. Location is convenient: just a short walk from the BTS station. Parking available and helpful staff.

Well, we wanted to buy some Thai silk, so we visited this place based on various online recommendations. However, they had more collections of other stuff (like cotton) and less of silk. I believe the prices are bit lower than their mall outlets and justifiably options are fewer as well. We ended up buying some cotton stuff as the designs were good. Not sure if its because of covid impact but we generally struggled to find good options to buy Thai silk.

This place is honestly a best deal maker ever. Thai silk is the most renowned silk there is to get in the world and henceforth the most expensive one you can get. In Europe the prices are absolutely extortionate but here in the factory outlet you can get amazing deals for the very best silk there is

Good selection of t-shirts. Was hoping to have a wider range of dresses and scarves though.

Lots of products to choose with 40-60% discount but designs aren't up-to-date, staffs are very helpful.

Wide varieties of cloth and accessories. Scarf selection limited. A lot of Textiles for tailoring. Discounts between 30 and 70 percent. Of course limited sizes and varieties with high discount, but Still nice choices. If you like the brand and quality, it's worth a visit. For Men they have a lot of basics in Linen, cotton and a little bit in silk.

Plenty of ends of rolls of fabric..nice stuff..but the rest of the 4 floors stock sparsely spread around..there is nothing that there is a range..what's there is top priced ...bvery sad to see this company - even the store in Central..just looks 'window dressed" with no stock...Was looking forward to getting lots of presents and came away with nothing and spent a lot of taxi costs and a waste of time..

It is good if your size is 38-40 because you have more choice. Note that these are the end of series so some articles are actually not as well designed as some others (too deep decollete, very tight slightly above the chest level for the size but perfect elsewhere...). Some choices of bags and tee shirts. Not much choice on the small silk items such as glasses case, small purses,...

Has many floors but if you are looking more for products, there are mainly two floors while the other are mainly for fabric. I went there to find a nice souvenir and manage to find something. It is an outlet store so things are not available in all size etc. Still is a good selection if you are into these type of product.

Loved wandering around looking at all the fabrics available! I also found some great deals in cure clothes and my friend found some small bags that were lovely.

Suprised how good it was! 4 Floors out of which 3 with clothes and accessories. Wide selection of clothes for women, a bit narrow for men. One can easily spend 2 hours there, excellent quality, timeliness design and price/value ratio you don’t often find in outlets.

The place has been renovated and on each floor there are dedicated sessions of house accessories, dresses and fabrics collection. On the basement few great occasions 50% discount for great fabrics, limited to a certain amount of measurement. If you are looking for a special gift you will definitely find something precious and with the valuable brand of Jim Thompson s quality as well.

Quality of inventory varies but many high quality items at substantial discounts . Difficult to find men’s larger sizes. Large selection of bolts of fabric.

My go to place for high end, beautiful fabrics (silk, cottons, blends) for furniture, curtains, pillow cases. They sell their fashions, accessories, pillows from previous seasons at much cheaper prices than at their shops. Always see foreign designers buying alot of fabrix from here.

Quite far from the center of the city. If you are a fan of Jim Thompson, you can get buy goods much more cheaper than other shops since it is the outlet.

Good choices at discounted prices, unfortunately the cafe is closed down now. For tourists though note there's also a store at duty free with some more / newer design options which is still well priced.

Discounts were not really significant. Poor collection with very limited size options. I’d say it’s not worth the drive. Probably better luck at the shop in Siam Premium Outlet

Always friendly and pleasant service from the security to the retail staff. Good place for a range of high quality furnishing/curtain/decor fabrics and occasionally good bargains that can be used for small projects.

Best place to visit for sale of Jim Thonpson items (better than the outlet near the siam airport). Good selection for men and girls not much for ladies and boys.

Staff is so kind and keep a professional distance from customer. There are not many types of products, but if you find, you can get at a good price.
