I think they deserve 5 stars. There is no elevator so you have to use the stairs but it’s not so high. The staff here are all very very friendly. Restaurant here cool good food with decent price and their lobby has so many nice decorations and statutes. You can sit freely here and the air circulation is good at the lobby like epic. View is good. Downstairs toilet also very very clean so if your own room toilet is occupied it’s fine. The aircond inside the room is very effective, for someone who can’t take the heat that is perfect. Everything you need here is provided, for me I just need to bring toothpaste and toothbrush that’s it. Drinking water just have to help yourself to refill downstairs. The location is so strategic.

Very good location, almost 5 minutes walk from Khao San road. Clean rooms, polite and very helpful staff (they called a taxi for us two times and it came really quickly). There is also a "incognito" swimming pool, ideal for a private beer at night. Also the neighborhood was very quiet.

Neat area and very clean. The bathroom/shower is awesome; it’s on the balcony! (Private don’t worry 😉) it received 3 stars because theres no elevator and I ended up on the top floor and the website doesn’t work and their phone number is not updated so it was impossible for me to communicate with them until I was standing in the lobby .

Stayed here for a few nights and was quite disappointed with the whole experience. We checked into our room and was overwhelmed at how basic it was. It smelt like paint leading us to believe it has possibly been recently refurbished however there was no place to store our luggage and clothes. There was a vanity mirror that went right up to the window so you couldn't shut the curtain properly, which meant the room was very bright in the mornings. Our bathroom was only accessible via our balcony which was strange, however the bathroom was possibly the best part of the room. Outside our room sound just echoed and so continued to wake us up throughout the night. Found the staff to be quite rude, practically screaming down their radios at 6/7am directly outside our door, this not made any better due to the paper thin walls and how much the hall echoed. We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner the evening we arrived. I ordered the pineapple fried rice which to my amazement was actually really nice and full of flavour. My girlfriend and some of the others in our group ordered food that basically came out drowning in liquid. Which didn not look appealing nor appetising. My overall experience of this place was quite bad mainly due to the lack of sleep from constantly being woken. We then went back to the restaurant for breakfast and what we received was so basic, few scrambled eggs and toast, we may have well gone to the local 7 eleven and bought a better and cheaper meal there.

It is a nice hotel not far from Khaoson Road. The hotel lobby and the pool are very comfortable! The rooms are standard. It is not a high-class hotel but also not a low budged hotel. It's something in between. Wild Orchid Villa is a perfect choice if you want to be in the near of a lot sightseeing stuff like Khaoson Road, the Kings palace, and so on. The personal is also very friendly. I recommend it to all tourists!

Great location, not far from Khao San Road. Room was spacious and clean, with balcony overlooking the alley. Maid service/24 hour reception/Taxi booking service/Restaurant downstairs all good. Staff were very nice. We will definitely stay here again. Good value for money and right where we wanted to be.

Very nicely located and very quiet at night time. Rooms are simple, air con works and the bed was very big and comfortable, restaurant down stairs is very good. Would stay here again. Very close to all the temples. Good value for money, but only rate it as 2 Star as the place has no elevator and no parking and is suited to back packers and short term Bangkok trips.

Rooms are very very clean, staffs are helpful, and hot water facilities are there along with TV and locker. No toothbrush or shaving kits are provided. You are not allowed to bring in guests to the room (fine 500 baht). The area is really good. The food street is nearby and you can gorge on Thai local cuisine in the food street. The food price in the hotel is a little high even for simple items like dipped black tea and water bottle. Since the food streets are nearby, it is not an issue.

This is a cheap and convenient guesthouse in Bangkok. The location is very good, prices OK and you get air conditioning in the rooms. You have a large reception with a restaurant and plenty of seating space and a swimming pool in the back. However, do not expect a 5 star hotel. The furniture is basic and cleaning wanting. A peculiar thing is you have the toilet and shower outside in the balcony. Overall perfect for young travellers and backpackers, but not the best choice for well-off families.

Good for the price and located right in a tourist area it was a decent hotel. We came as a family of 5 so it was not so family friendly as the atmosphere was more for drinking tourists and people looking for a spiritual high. The pool was nice but not so clean and the rooms kinda run down. The beds were comfortable and there are travel agents right out front to book busses and trains from. Do go to the travel agent don’t book from the hotel or the ticket prices will go up at least 350 bhat per ticket! So for the price it was nice and good location but not so family friendly...

Very friendly staff, basic accommodations. One of our rooms didn't have a window and the other room's only window was facing a wall of the other building, 1.5 m away. Not enough light. Feel little catastrophic. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Overall, average for a budget accommodation.

Deceptive. No WiFi signal on second floor. Overpriced junk and they couldn’t even put two twin beds together to make a large bed like requested. Avoid.

I stayed here about a month ago and the only thing I really enjoyed about this place was that they had a pool. On the second night I stayed, there were bugs all over my clothes and under my pillow. One, I was traumatized and didn’t want any of my clothes. I told the hotel I wasn’t paying full price for that room. They obligated me too, saying they would wash my clothes. So I waited until the owner or whoever was contacted. Turned out it was wood mites and they live in their walls. They look like little maggots. Stay away. Customer service is bad and so is the accommodation.

Really great location and clean room. A little small but it was great for a short stay. Didn’t really have a window to anything as we were on the first floor and booked a budget room but that was ok. The pool was nice and the staff were very kind. Open sitting area that serves food and drinks and a little bit out of the chaos

It’s such a lovely hostel where we stayed. It’s in a neat little alley within walking distance to the Khao San street and surrounding area. At night it was fairly quite and we had a great sleep. Across the road is a river where you should take a boat tour, definitely take the local boat ride since it is way cheaper and you get to see all the locals and stop more often to see all the buildings. Our room had a balcony with the restroom on it and a view to the street, interesting experience! Stay at the wild orchid villa, it is worth it.

Amazing Hotel in a tourist area with reasonable price. Close to many shops and in walking distance to the Chao Phraya river. Room and bathroom was clean. There was a minifridge and hot water kettle in room. There was also instant tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, etc along with mineral water bottles. There is geyser in bathroom as well. There are options for breakfast including pancakes. There is also a tour operator in the hotel which is really affordable and we went to Amphawa floating market and Ayutthaya for day tours. There are also two 7-eleven shops near the Hotel. There is also a swimming pool and staff are really friendly. The Hotel is also near the FAO Bangkok office.

Rating for restaurant only, save yourself the time, the service is slow and terrible and the food even worse, ordered bacon eggs and toast got, one egg two slices of ham?! And two pieces of bread for a stupid price. Didn’t know you could get bacon and eggs so wrong?!

The people at the reception are really not nice, they don't change sheets and towels in the rooms, I don't recommend coming at all!!

Nice place in the khao san area. Room was perfectly fine. Only thing was the bathroom being outside on the balcony, but that is just how the building was made so that was fine to me. Be mindful also that they don't have an elevator. Otherwise a fine place to stay if you want to be close to khoa san road but not on it so you can get some decent sleep lol
