Statue look amazing. Also the park is nice. Rats are living in the near by bushes so be careful where you sit.

A great place to learn more about the history of Thailand. The park is very spacious and there are not many people around. It is serene, a good place to relax

a pretty average looking statue of a seated king Rama, located in a nice park close to the river. No entry fee. Park provides some nice shade, but the immediate environs of the statue have no shade to speak of.

The history of Bangkok and the monarchy start the statue behind me. We take a opportunity to go there to know the history’s itself and take some wonderful pictures. You should pay a respect to go there also. Some people pray and offer that time that’s why we took pictures of it far from the statue. It was a good place to visit.

Giant statue of King Rama 1, walking distance from the flower market and Sky park. It is a giant open area and a well maintained park, great place to relax. There is also a big fountain at the entrance of the park, but there was no water in it while I was there. However the statue is very, clean, quite, and well maintained. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

This is a pretty average looking statue. It features a seated king Rama, calmly staring off into the distance with a sword in his lap. Located in a nice park close to the river. No entry fee. The park provides some welcome shade, but the immediate environs of the statue has no shade to speak of. Overall, it's just ok.

Getting to the monument is quite dangerous (due to road traffic) so watch out. It's also open aired so watch out too during the hot and rainy seasons.

Park and monument to Rama I. Founder of the Rattanakosin Kingdom and the first monarch of the reigning Chakri dynasty.

Statue of their ex-king. But i saw that people were more interested in taking photos of the metal bridge next to it.
