Lovely place at the pier! Great food and happy crew serving you whole heartedly! They also screen all major sporting events... Alcohol is cheaper here than most places around!

Well a nice place indeed! But I had the mixed grill and my wife the chicken lamb. And it was..... absolutely fantastic! I had pork chicken and beef and all was very well cooked and tasty. With nice potatoes and grilled vegetable. One of the best meals in Phuket and we've been here more than a year. Bravo et on reviendra pour goûter d'autres plats.

Friendly staff, fish and chips has good tarter sauce and comes with malt vinegar. The fried fish feels more like pan fried or baked friend. I think it’s because the fish is bigger in size, what I am used to with fish and chips is crispy fried fish that is more deep fried

Excellent, excellent bar. Very easy to get to, well known location. 200 baht (£4.50) Bolt ride from Kata Beach, 15 minutes. Great contact via WhatsApp, Sean is very accommodating if you want to book a spot for drinks or their great food and to watch sport from most places across the world (we’ll nearly). Lovely, friendly atmosphere and a great mix of people. Groups, families, singles are all welcomed and well looked after. Great little place just next to the pier and in front of the beach. Perfect for sundowners and a bite as you watch the speedboats return grom their day trips. Best of all, draft beer is only 50 Baht.

Nice place close to the sea and the pier. There is a little terrace on the second floor by the restaurant, overlooking the bay, very nice if the weather is fine (no roof against the rain)

Love love this place! Our son teaches in chalong and raves about the meat pies. Yummy! Cheap beer and good food - just what you need after a day of diving! Had a Grilled Salmon Steak for 200 Bhat, Charlong Pier Som Tum Special for 160 Baht, and loads of beers. English speaking staff who are very attentive.

Perfect spot for food and a beer! Came here for food after a busy day round the island. Staff are really welcoming and the service was great. Both had the steak pie with chips which was really nice and would recommend. The owner, very friendly guy but didn’t catch his name unfortunately, came and spoke to us about our travels as well. If you’re staying near Chalong or even just in Phuket, definitely stop by here!

We came here last night as first timers to meet our friends who just flown in from UK. Great mix atmosphere of music and live sports viewing. Food was great with an extra shout out to the chicken spring rolls! Very reasonable price drinks too 👍🏻We are from Sydney where hospitality service can be (very) hit and miss anywhere from casual to high end (pretentious) places. Chalong Pier Restaurant & Sports Bar is a low maintenance gem. Sean and his team just hits the perfect level providing responsive, friendly service but at the same time knows to not be in your face so that you have the space to enjoy your own moment 🙂

Well I had to ding a star, but only because getting the meal took substantially longer than it ought to have (we ordered 2 dishes that require no additional cooking). Apparently there was a large party just in ahead of us and it's a small place. So, I was perturbed, but partially because we had someplace to be and get done. That perturbation melted away as my beef stew melted in my mouth. I've never tasted any better, including my own or my mom's. Fork tender chunks of beef and a gravy that buckles your knees and makes you exclaim "ahhhh" with each bite. Comes with mash or chips, I opted for the mash. Right choice accounting for the stew gravy. My Thai girlfriend had the tuna Caesar salad. I finished it off after she had her fill and the dressing was fantastic. Obviously house made with care. As a Rawai resident, this place will be on my regular repertoire even though I hate going anyplace near Chalong Circle. Next time I'll take a pic.

Sean and his team really looked after us for both our visits for food, drink and the Women’s World Cup games. Service fast and attentive, everyone welcoming and you could be any nationality looking for any type of sport or team and Sean will try and help you out. Asia the dog is also bloody awesome.
