A bit pricey but tasty pastries! Lots of selection. We got pistachio danish, cherry custard danish, and the strawberry whipped cream croissant sandwich. My daughters and I all loved the strawberry whipped cream croissant sandwich the best! It has the real whipped cream inside which is rare to get around here and wasn’t too sweet and great flavor! Friendly staff and cute little cafe space inside. Thank you!

Saw this bakery and decided to go in and check it out. It’s pretty small inside but their pastries are very good. We got a couple of square pastries and a brownie with chocolate chips. Our favourite was the apricot and custard pastry but the pastry with apple slices was a very close second. They have a proper espresso machine and sell espresso based drinks so maybe we’ll come back and try those. There seems to only be one table in the back which might seat four… so this is definitely more of a take out kind of place. We’ll be back to try their cookies…

Amazing pain au chocolat and Danish. The quiche, avocado pesto wrap and bacon and egg croissant was delicious! Brought me back to memories of France Will definitely return! Yes it is a little pricey but for a treat, it was perfect!

Freshly baked pastries and desserts in Whitby. It’s good to see a bit more variety in this suburban city. I’ve also had their almond cake (very good) and sandwiches. The latter I thought was slightly overpriced. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Espresso based coffee items though needs improvement. I’d prefer not to have to go another cafe to get my properly done latte to eat with the scrumptious flakey croissant.

Ordered on Skip the Dishes. This was a mixes feelings breakfast…. The Mocha was only 1/2 of the cup (I ordered 2, and both were the same), was very bitter, no sugar/chocolate taste at all… my sunny side up egg was very well done and hard, as well as the baguette…. BUT I must say the baguette, despite being hard, was delicious. And the fruits were very sweet and fresh. The ham and cheese omelette was also a delicious surprise.

I'd heard so many good things about Belle Vie, I had to try it when the opportunity arose! Definitely get in early to have more picks! This bakery has a small cafe front, with 3 small tables, two chairs each. We were fortunate enough that a family of 4 was just finishing up when we got there. We got a fruit tart and cheesecake, and my husband got an Americano. Our friend got an apple cinnamon loaf thing, (I'm not too sure what the name is, will update when I find out!) The fruit tart was much loved by our toddler, who gobbled it right up. The tart was crunchy and not overly sweet, it was a good balance with the fruits. The cheesecake was delicious as expected. Our friend's apple loaf was also very tasty, and reminded me of a better, breadier apple pie without too much goop. Service was phenomenal. Juggling making the specialty drinks to serving the food, checking out the tab, all done by one with a smile. Will definitely be back to try more!

Today was my second time here. Although a bit expensive, lovely sandwiches and pastry is so good! I also would like to mention that the staff are very nice! Last time there was a girl helping me out, and today was a very nice guy who even made some recommendations which I appreciate. Combination of good food and good service are a 5 star for sure!

I purchased 2 cheese croissant, 2 butter croissant and a slice of cheesecake, all items were on the same box. The cheesecake was not put in the container, no fork was provided. We love your food but please make sure everything (utensils) is in the bag

This is a hidden Gem in Whitby downtown! The baked goods are so tempting that you will end up ordering more than what you came for. I love the coffee, Croissants and pesto Danish!

Stopped by here randomly and it seemed busy, a little confusing where people are picking up vs ordering (maybe have a drop down from the ceiling saying pick up or something would be good). The lady that took our order was great but I feel like the pastries were just ok, nothing that had me craving to go back, creme brûlée was too large and tasted ok but didn’t crave to finish it, the almond croissant was simple and ok but nothing special imo, however the lava cake was small but pretty good. 3.5/5

Maybe consider getting someone who knows something about customer service to talk to your clients. I’ve given the management 5 days to give me an answer on this before posting a review but they are ignoring my messages so: I had the worst latte here I think I’ve ever had. Made me sick to my stomach. They said this is normal for oat milk? I’m sure that’s what they will respond to this review with as well to save face. But I don’t drink dairy and have had a lot of milk alternatives and never have had an oat milk look like this and not to mention literally chunky when I would sip. everything is over priced and not very good anymore. The quality has gone way downhill here. Congratulations on running your business into the ground.

OSHAWA LOCATION.Went in at 10am. Thought it odd that the place did not smell of baking. Went to counter..very friendly staff. Counter had 1 of 2 kinds of Danish, 1 pistachio croissant, 3 plain, 1 double toasted, and 3 almond. There was another counter that I almost missed with the "quiche and cakes". No prices on anything in the shop. No prices on drinks board. We bought 4 items. $16 plus tip was $20. Not bad considering it's supposed to be a French bakery. Imagine getting home and the croissant are at least day old. Stretchy, not flaky. The pistachio one was just stale. The macaroon was mushy and very heavy. The Whitby location has an oven. Smells great. No prices that I recall. If you are going to open a second location, even par-baking would help. Anything would help. The food was abysmal. Staff was friendly. Awkward set up of counters. Need signage for prices etc. Sandwiches in cooled need to be wrapped. Looked tired.

Belle Vie has very nice pastry. I was visiting recently and although the food was good,, I received a hot chocolate vs a cafe mocha, plus my guest was denied access to their washroom, a violation of Bill C16 even though we spent over $60!

🫤 Went to late night dinner at Chuck’s in Whitby on Sat. Jan. 7/23@9pm. We were seated at the front window to a large round table. I can’t fault the food as it is always good and the same at every location I’ve been to in all over Ontario. Food was fresh and hot and came out faster then we expected. U...
