Went there over the weekend, had a delightful time . Our waitress was very nice, very fun to talk to and the food tasted as good as they look in the photos. The portions are generous for the price and they have a lot of options to browse through. Didn't get dessert but the choices looked very nice too. The place is tucked in a weird corner of the street that unfortunately obscures it from the main pathways, it's a quiet and good place that's open later than most all-day breakfast spots. Definitely going back when we're in the area again.

I nice place for breakfast. Waitress was pleasant and really helpful, made for cheerful start of day. Food arrived quickly and was hot. The regular platters for breakfast look substantial so bring left over box or come hungry. They also have a build a breakfast for smaller appetites. They have cherry coke!

I brought my parents here trying it out for the first time, thinking that you can’t go wrong with basic breakfast. I was wrong. The restaurant smells funny when you come in, like a stale and old smell- I don’t even thinks it’s been around for that long so I don’t know what the smell is from. It was around $4 for a watery tasteless coffee, yes you get a full pot but what’s the point if nobody wants to drink it? The hash browns and biscuits do taste like they are out of a box. Why Perkins? These are so easy to make from scratch. I got the grandmas omelette, which came with hash browns and toast and cost $17.00. That’s a bit too much for an omelette in my opinion. I can see why people choose other places for breakfast- try Cora’s for a similar price or Sunset Grill for even less and a better experience overall. I’m sorry to give you a bad review Perkins- I had high hopes for you. Maybe other people had a better experience but I have no desire to return, ever.

While on my way to visit Pickering, I got a craving for breakfast/brunch. I did a quick Google search, and this place popped up that matched my criteria. We ordered the hearty man and California Benedict. The bacon was so crispy, the smoked sausages and sausage links were also very good. Also the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The eggs Benedict was nice and rich with the avocados and the hollandaise sauce was on point. I will surely come back to try their other menu items.

Went for the first time after recovering some coupons in the mail, my first impression of the outside of the restaurant looked clean and I was surprised to see they had a patio. I went in and the atmosphere was that of a typical breakfast diner, spacious with many tables and seating option. It did take me a while to get seated, as the place seemed understaffed. Once seated the service was quick and I was given bottomless coffee. I ordered the build your own breakfast with strawberry glazed pancakes. The portions were large, I was unable to finish. Home fries were exceptional, the pancakes fluffy and sweet fresh strawberries. Eggs were cooked just right, all and all very satisfied and will return.

My mom and I came from up north to Perkins for breakfast over the weekend, our food and service was amazing! Our server Meera was very friendly and saw us as soon as we sat down and made sure we had coffee at the table before even taking a look at the menu. Definitely will be coming back with family!

We came from out of province to visit family. The food was good, the service was practically non existent which I understand, as many places are under Staffed these days. However when the server was clearing our dishes, my elderly aunt asked if we could have more coffee, and the server snapped: "I only have 2 hands." My aunt was so embarrassed, ad she'd been raving to us how good the place was before that. Slow service because of staff shortage is one thing, but rudeness is another.

Okay so came here upon arrival, friendly greeter ushered is to our table. Upon arriving at the table she took us too was a hair on the table Upon further investigation of this table was another hair on the seat as well. We moved ourselves to another table that looked cleaner, upon sitting at this table i found my back at a highly uncomfortable angle with my back so I tried another booth and still the same thing.. Highly uncomfortable booths and a table that was still a bit dirty you could see with two hairs on it? In the middle of Covid times?? Absolutely no way we were staying!! We informed the waitress of these issues and immediately left! and friendly waitress told us to have a good day. My biggest question is why would we be assigned a booth that was not cleaned and sanitized properly and why were these booths designed this way so uncomfortable??? I have been at many Perkins and never once have I have any of these issues. I am highly unsatisfied Perkins leadership!!! I will not be visiting this location again!!

Family restaurant with welcoming environment. Ordered steak & eggs. Steak was cooked well, but very under seasoned. Decent portion sizes for the price. Coffee was served but we had to ask for sugar, when the sugar was served it made a mess all over the table when we grabbed the packets. Sat in a booth, but every movement from the person(s) sitting behind me was felt on my side, very annoying.

September 29, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We decided to have breakfast at Perkins, where we received a warm welcome and were promptly seated in a booth. The staff was friendly. For my meal, I ventured out of my usual choices and ordered the Pot Roast Melt. It's not typically something I would go for, but I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations as I found the meat to be a bit dry and lacking in flavor. However, I did find the onion rings quite enjoyable. One constructive suggestion I have is that when suggesting dishes, it would be appreciated if the additional charges were mentioned upfront rather than being explained after the bill is presented. Some people may not appreciate that surprise at the end. Overall, it was an okay dining experience, not the best nor the worst. I would consider visiting Perkins again in the future, but I'll likely stick to my usual choices of pancakes and French toast.

Our neighbourhood Perkins is always consistently good with their food offerings. The atmosphere is friendly and the service standards are good. I enjoy their entire menu and it is a great place to eat if you want breakfast for dinner. Keep up the stellar work!

Have previously ordered from this restaurant on food delivery apps but then actually went into the establishment and was very pleased! The place is spacious and very clean. The staff is very kind and patient. A great place to go for breakfast and you can also buy baked goods to go. (The muffins are delicious!)

Excellent service, decent price and portions. The server left a pot of coffee on my table, I was very happy with that! Entrance is on the other side of Shawarma Royale, kind of hard to see if you're coming from hwy 2

Perkins use to be my favourite breakfast spot and I use to go there every weekend or every other weekend. However, I went today for their breakfast and I was turned away very rudely because I doing have my vaccine passport. They were using very rude and discriminatory language and kicked me out for "trespassing".

Food was good, but not worth the price. I can get a larger portion at literally any other restaurant for the same $16 price.

I went in to buy a pie for a birthday, and the staff was so kind, attentive, and quick. The fresh-baked homestyle apple pie was absolutely delicious and flaky. It was a big hit. We can't wait to visit again.

I just wanted to experience a post-pandemic restaurant to we went here tonight. Great service and fairly quiet at dinner time. I enjoyed coffee and pie, but I thought it was weird that they sat someone in the booth right NEXT to ours... when there was tons of space available. I would feel safer if they alternated booths.

This Perkins is great! Really good service and the breakfast here is delicious. This location has proper prices unlike the airport location that recently jacked up their prices significantly. Not sure why. This is the Perkins to go to in the GTA

Great place for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. However, I wish they had fruits on side, unfortunately you have to pay extra for fruits. Overall highly recommend this place for peeps who love eating BIG breakfast. 😊

We ordered the sunrise skillet without meat and twice and nice combo. It was servred as requested and the serving size was more than enough for one person.

I only go here for breakfast on Saturday and Sundays and the service is really good. We have gone after work and it's all right. The food is okay. I like the breakfast meal though because every season they always have something new like right now they have the strawberry festival going on and it is awesome.

I went with my 2.5 year old. We had a great experience. The food came out fast and fresh. The waitresses were friendly and nice. My son enjoyed the Mac and cheese kids meal.

Love this place. Only been a couple of times but each time it's been a great experience. The servers are lovely, the food is good (though I've only had breakfast here), and it's just an overall comfy and cozy spot. I look forward to my next visit!

Brunch is probably my favorite weekend outing and I was not disappointed coming to Perkins. The service was fast and the bottomless coffee carafe at the table is great. I do find it a bit pricey for what we ordered, but it has been consistent and the waitstaff is efficient and friendly despite being very busy.

Breakfast was fabulous our waitress Heather should have a gold star, no complain. I had the special my eggs were perfect and my toast was just right. Take a visit to your neighborhood restaurant highly recommended all protocol in place. Looking forward to try their lunch looks very interesting

Had a sandwich and French fries. Very similar to a clubhouse. It was delicious the bread was wonderful and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. I chose the rye bread. The place was bright and clean. The waitress was cheerful and sweet. Great service!

Visited for breakfast recently for the first time. Food and service was excellent. Lots of variety from which to choose. Also they're very generous with their coffee. Went for a 2nd visit a few weeks later…just as good as the first.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and impressive service. We were taken care by Barbara, she was very helpful and took good care of us with a smile responding every question from the menu. We will definitely we will come back!
