Amazing place! I’ve been here 4 times so far and it’s always 10/10. Theyre a family owned business that makes amazing food. You just have to be patient for the food to come out but it’s definitely worth the wait. Cielito Lindo is my favourite mexican place in all of durham!
Small place to get delicious and authentic Mexican food for a very affordable price and good portions. I ordered takeout with my friends. I got the taco salad, and the chipotle sauce basa fish. I highly recommend the basa fish, the sauce is amazing.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! We came to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff was very welcoming and the decor is so cute. We were very satisfied with our meal, it was hearty, delicious and great value. My order was the veggie chimichanga, (my first ever) and I fell in love!!! Will definitely be returning! 🌮
The food was freshly made, full of flavor, and served with love. The service from the lovely lady attending to us was warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The vibrant Mexican ambience added to the overall charm. It was the perfect spot to celebrate, and we’ll definitely be coming back!!
What an unassuming place!!! Looks glamorous online, but when you go and see small restaurants with 8 tables and barely any space in-between, you wonder about the eating experience. But the food was good and so was the service. The food was made fresh. The environment was very relaxed and friendly, service was very prompt.
We visited this Mexican restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the food felt quite bland for our palate. The vegetarian tacos lacked flavor—it felt like just boiled veggies with a little sour cream, which was disappointing. We also tried enchiladas, nachos, and a drink, and while everything was okay, nothing really stood out. That being said, the ambience was super cozy, and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The energy of the place was very homely and communal, making it a nice spot to hang out. While the food didn’t quite land for us, I believe this restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine, so it might be worth trying once to see if it suits your taste!
A small modest place in Pickering . Family owned and authentic Mexican fare. Had the Fajitas for two , with chicken and beef . The taco shells were generic and the toppings were fresh . But the star of the show was the meat , both the chicken and steak were cooked perfectly and the sauce and veggies were so tasty . It was a 10/10 ! I would want to eat the chicken and beef with rice it's so good on its own ! Definitely love the mom and pop place . They were very friendly and service was very fast . I will go back to try other dishes that they have . Price is very reasonable .
An authentic Mexican restaurant with dishes that play on the same variation of ingredients. Some of those ingredients are not always available (such as shrimp), and I found that although the food was quite tasty, it can get a bit monotonous after eating an entire plate. I still think it is a great option for real Mexican dishes.
