I am utterly disgusted with the service of this restaurant. My wife and I arrived at 8:30pm and last call was 9:30pm which is fine we ordered and the food was there. I had to ask for my own pop refill since our waitress never came around. She used 2 red solo cups and poured them in our pop cups…At 9:35pm the waitress brought our receipts and a machine to pay. The waitress kept walking back and forth to pick up our dishes and we were not even done eating… they closed at 10pm. I felt rushed and uncomfortable. I asked my wife to just leave the food and let’s go. On my way out I asked the lady at the front what time they closed? She said 10pm. So I said technically I have until 10pm to finish my meal and not feel rushed…I wouldn’t recommend this place and we wont be returning.

I've been here a couple of years back but switched to a la carte sushi at Odine which was affordable. I revisited because wanted ayce and their price is decent with variety vs others in the Durham area. Definitely new changes with the new management. Enjoyed their robot server and it sings for birthdays so it would be a joy for anyone celebrating here. Went for lunch on a weekend and had great options including sashimi and teppanyaki which usually others offer for dinner only. If you're looking for ayce sushi I would recommend this place.

I've been a regular at Dragon Rolls in Pickering, often enjoying their all-you-can-eat dine-in. However, my recent visit for takeout on August 8, 2023, revealed a few areas that could use enhancement. When my son and I walked into the restaurant, it was relatively quiet – a promising sign for a swift takeout experience. We placed an order for Chicken Fried Rice, four orders of Beef Teriyaki Rolls, and two orders of Cheese Wontons. The staff courteously informed us that the wait time would be around 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, our excitement dwindled as we patiently waited for our order, only to receive it after a prolonged 45-minute wait. The extended wait time was a tad disappointing, and a more accurate estimate would have better managed our expectations. One aspect that caught my attention during this visit was the state of the restroom. While the overall restaurant was tidy, the restroom seemed to lack the same attention to detail. I noticed toilet paper scattered on the floor, which indicated a need for more consistent maintenance and cleanliness in this area. Also the flush lever on the toilet was hanging but I was still able to operate it. This should be fixed. When we finally indulged in our meal at home, the flavors were as scrumptious as ever. The Chicken Fried Rice was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, and the Beef Teriyaki Rolls were bursting with savory goodness. The Cheese Wontons were crispy and satisfying. Unfortunately, we were not told of the complementary Spicy Crab Rolls – a dish that clashed with our preferences for both seafood and spice. It would be a great improvement if the staff confirmed such additions with customers before including them, avoiding any food wastage and ensuring a tailored experience. While our order included an unwanted surprise, the overall flavors of the dishes reminded us why we keep coming back. Here's to hoping Dragon Rolls takes these suggestions to heart, providing an even more remarkable dining experience in the future.

This is easily one of the best sushi places in Durham. I highly recommend coming to their dinner hours where they have more of a variety, such as torched sushi. I love their other grilled items as well, but I also feel like their dessert section could use a bit more work. They get packed really easily on certain days, but I definitely think they're worth the wait. Also, some of the menu items might not get sent to the table, but instead of reordering, just let a staff know.

I’m not an expert taste tester when it comes to Japanese cuisine but I thought the sushi and tempura were good. There is an all you can eat option where you order on an iPad and your waitress brings your table your food. Service was fast. Ambience is beautiful. They even have a robot server!

This is a must-eat restaurant for my daughter every time she comes to Canada. She says it is the best, with a lot of food choices and delicious

Went out for dinner with some friends last night and had the AYCE menu. This is officially our new AYCE spot! The food was fresh, came quickly, the servers were polite and very helpful. Anything we asked them for was provided right away. Service was amazing and some items came on this robot server thingy that says “Jesus loves you”. I thought it was so cute and my friends loved it as well! I’ve been to many other AYCE sushi restaurants and have never had such a great selections coupled with great service the way it was last night. I’ve also never had such great chicken wings at an AYCE sushi place but those wings were magical last night! THANK YOU, DRAGON ROLLS! We will be back 😊

I think the food quality for this all you can eat sushi restaurant is probably better then the average sushi joint in the area. That being said, service was quick and the party really enjoyed the serving robots, eagerly waiting for their return. The waiters were attentive and polite, as we began seeing more of them in action as the place filled up real quickly which was very surprising for a weekday but a welcome sight as staff impressively kept up with the busy pace. The place is decorated quite tastefully and is overall very modern however some corners of the restaurant visibly need a bit of touching up. The amount of Jesus loves you stickers placed on everything from the serving robots, to the accessibility buttons was slightly daunting, but that was that. The menu is quite extensive with happily unexpected choices like deep fried Oreos. Will probably visit again.

Great service and great food. Fresh food. Very fast when ordering. Best you can do at a buffet during covid. Just order on a tablet and then they bring you your food. Plus, a robot delivers the food to your table sometimes too. All, all you can eat buffets need to implement this style. Also suggest going with the dinner vs lunch. You get more options and refillable soft drinks, coffee and tea included with dinner as opposed to the lunch. They also added new stuff to their menu. Much worth it!

Rolls are huge and fresh! I have only ordered take out but I’m always very pleased with my order. I’ve probably tried almost every sushi place in Durham Region and this is by far the best. They were kind enough to add veggie spring rolls and an avocado roll for free on my last order :) Favourites: Orange dragon roll (salmon) Spicy salmon roll Salmon tempura roll + add cream cheese

Went here with my friends for lunch! Service is great and so is the food. They have the all you can eat. Sushi is great and so was the grill stuff. We enjoyed the dessert The place is kid friendly and very clean

For many years, I always have a great experience at this AYCE restaurant. Food was well presented and tasty. They did some upgrades and updates on their menu. Customer service is always superb and prices are reasonable I believe. I love this restaurant and keep up all the great work!!

A great takeout experience! I tried this place out for the first time for a weekday lunch takeout during the pandemic. I ordered online and got a 10% off discount, then when I chose to pay with cash, I got an additional 5% off! When I went to got pick up my order, I noticed that the restaurant was super clean and the customer service was so lovely! The had made blockades of tables to help keep people safe, they had hand sanitizer easily available. When I gave the cash, they were very cautious and sprayed the money I gave and the change they gave back to me. So everything was so well sanitized. We ordered: Cheese Wontons (8pcs) Mango Cheese Roll ( unique to this restaurant ) Yam Tempura Rolls Spicy Salmon Rolls California Roll Overall the food was pretty tasty, and they were generous with the extra ginger & spicy mayo we requested. It was definitely a great experience and a good value for money.

I’m obsessed with this sushi joint. My number 1 place to eat. I always get the all you can eat dinner selection even if it is lunch because of the additional types of torched sushi rolls available. Be sure to try the torched sushi section on the menu it is divine. If you love sushi you won’t be disappointed with the freshness and quality of the food here.

Order take out for pick up online and was ready in 30 mins. Maki rolls were fresh and tasty 5/5! Ordered P05; Maki Tray with Calamari, Scallops and cheese wonton. If you ordered more than $50 before tax you will get free items so we got the spicy crab roll and spring rolls.

Yum yum yum!! I’ve ordered home delivery from here and gone in for All-You-Can-Eat. Both times I was wonderfully surprised with the quality of ingredients. Very fresh & tasty. The staff were very accommodating & polite. The interiors are very clean & pretty. They’re following COVID protocols. I’ll definitely be back.

Met a friend for an early dinner. Thought we would maybe try the a la cart menu and then realized that our party wanted to have the variety available on the AYCE menu. I understand businesses wanting to monetize on the holiday get togethers, but it felt gross knowing that they jacked the dinner price up to $37 per person because of the holidays. This in itself would deter me from returning. The food comes quickly, sometimes via staff or robot. Don't expect any extra customer service here. You will get the bare minimum from staff in my opinion. Overall, come here if you want to see a robot waiter in action and a wide variety of food. Come at lunch only if you are hoping for a cheap-er AYCE option.

came here for all you can eat sushi as a small group. when we first arrived, at 8, they made it clear that they closed the kitchen at 9:30 and closed fully at 10. at 9:32 they started to do renovations to the restaurant as groups of people were still finishing up their meals. using power drills and everything. kinda weird. can't complain about the quality of food and service. the waitress and waiters were very kind and the food was scrumptious. I love the Jesus cat robot.

My number one spot for sushi in Pickering. They have a wide selection and their food is always so good. The restaurant inside is clean and welcoming. If you're impressed by it, they have a robot server. The lady who possibly manages, she's amazing! There was also an error in my order once and they went above and beyond to rectify the issue. I have always been happy with my service here.

I've ordered from And eaten at this restaurant many times over the years.. and this is the first time something like this has happened... while eating sushi I bit into a small peice of metal!! When I bit down I hurt my tooth.. called the restaurant they said that they will look into it.. and messaged Uber.. no one seems to be taking this seriously.... Uber's reps are useless ... they sent me a response asking in which dish was there hair!... it was a peice of Metal!

Generally in an AYCE the actual taste/quality of items is just about average at most places. This one here is an exception, the items off their AYCE menu come out as good as if there were ordered specially. Great taste, quality and value!

After so long I was able to enjoy all you can eat sushi. It was really good. It also has more selection than most sushi places. I also like how they don't just bring all your plates all at once so that it gets cold before you can even enjoy it. And they come often to clear your table. Now its a bit more expensive but its also a better quality food.

Management changed recently and has been nothing but a spectacular experience every time I go with my wife. They're super cordial and know us by name. My wife and I are healthy eaters and have plenty of options to choose from here. Cheat day? This is the place to go as well. It's a one stop shop for everything great! The price is right given the quality. Highly recommend we eat here weekly!

Ordered from here on Super Bowl Sunday and we were not disappointed! The sushi was super fresh — we were very pleased with the variety, the price and the delivery time. The udon noodles weren’t great (almost no taste) but everything else was delicious. We’ll definitely order from here again. No question!

This has always been my favorite to order from but recently after dining in, this is now my all around favorite spot. Staff are very friendly, they have the cool robot server, and the food is great. I won't post pics of the food as many have done so and it would be pointless. I got all the same things anyways. What's super cool and unique about this place was the Christian vibes going on at lunch. Great Christian music and the robot had a Jesus sticker on it.

All you can eat sushi and Thai food that tastes really great. The All you can eat includes appetizers, desserts and drink refills too. You have a lot of different options to choose from and you also inform them of any allergy restrictions. You make your orders through a tablet which is super convenient and easy to use. The staff is amazing and super friendly! Great place to go eat out for a special occasion with family or friends. Make a reservation in advance as it is always very full.

I haven't been to Dragon Rolls in a while now and oh my I was impressed. The food quality is so fresh and amazing. The portion size is just perfect. The receptionist is beyond professional and kind. Very thoughtful and attentive. The waiters are so nice. I am honestly beyond amazed and so happy I visited Dragon Rolls again. Highly recommended!

Food was good. Sushi seemed fresh and the miso was simple but satisfying. We had tempura also delicious.. ate it too fast to get pictures. We would order again. And they added spring rolls for free nice bonus!

AYCE Japanese food. Price went up a little @ $23.99 but the food is tasty and cooked hot. I think they try to limit the amount of more expensive food you ordered like Salmon rose. Service is good and friendly.

Let me start off by saying the food has improved ,It's fresh and very good ayce sushi. We try a lot of options from salom to the wok The sushi option is so so good .. kudos to the chef ... From the wok the food is kinda salty ..we had the general Tao chk and lemon grass chk . The chicken was salty . They have robot bringing out food.  But I don't think it's efficient. ... Service was ok . The staff did not seem happy or something was wrong. Not sure as to what . Prices have definitely gone up ayce dinner weekday is 33+taxes .. 15%service charge mandatory.  + tips .. Well so much for eating outside lol  . All In all great food ..

Great food and super friendly staff....very organized and aim to get takeout orders ready for pick up on a timely manner. Business is good because they're always busy...even during lockdown. Check them out😊
