The “salmon” is not salmon at all. I have ordered a salmon dinner from mr.Greek in Scarborough many times so I thought the Pickering location would be just as good… to my surprise, the fish that they gave was not even salmon! It was not pink in colour and the piece of fish was very thin. I ordered through Uber eats so once I got the fish and tried it and realized that it was not salmon, I called the manager and she explained that they got a new distributor and that even she noticed that the colour of the salmon is not the usual pink.. instead she said it’s white in colour and much thinner.. AKA NOT SALMON. please do better and start selling REAL salmon.

Food is only good when they're open and have it. Aug 16 they were closed in the middle of the day (3pm) and Aug 22 they were open at 9:29pm, shut all the lights off when I got to the door and told me they only have salad. When I went back to my car, they turmed all the lights back on. They're open to 10pm. Won't spend my money here again.

I like Greek Food, especially Gyros. I love that the meat is seasoned throughout and cooked on a rotisserie with some crispy edges. This time, however, it may have been cooked a little too long. The flavours were still there but it was a but dry. The salad and potatoes were perfectly cooked and tasty.

I’ve been a customer of this location constantly for the past year and will NEVER go back there ever again. I ordered my usual, keep in mind that I ALWAYS order. Everything seemed fine until I picked up my order and opened it at home. It was the completely wrong order for everything, which is fine people make mistakes. I called back and told them nicely what it was supposed to be for both orders. I always get the Mediterranean box and when I mentioned that’s what I ordered. The person replied that they don’t have a Mediterranean box. I literally order it all the time so I replied , uh the one with the vegetables. He replied we don’t have vegetables or a Mediterranean box , replying with attitude as if I’m an idiot and don’t know what I’m talking about…. I obviously replied “you’re telling me you guys never had some thing THAT I ALWAYS ORDER. I asked to speak to some one who can further help me without giving me attitude. Then he says “I’m the OWNER” Then while still on the phone I check the website and it’s no longer on there. So, they obviously got rid of it and discontinued it .. WHICH IS ALL HE HAD TO SAY. Literally all they had to say was we discontinued it. Instead of giving me attitude as if I’m an idiot . Then processed to ask if there’s anything else I need from him, like I was wasting his precious time.. didn’t even offer for me to come back to re do my order, which I would of been fine with. I then kindly said, well Sir if you’re the owner let me just say you’ve completely lost my business for good and you should be ashamed of yourself to speak to your own customer like that. I of course drove and brought my food back and kindly asked for a refund and left. I advise not to support this owners location. He was extremely unpleasant to deal with and does not deserve business at all. I’ve only ever written one review in my life and this is officially my second. I must say the workers are great though. I’ve always had a great experience with them. It’s unfortunate the OWNER himself will be the reason I will never return to this place ever again.

Store says they close at 10pm. Walked in at 9:20pm, they say they are closed and will only accommodate uber eats. Not allowed to order. Sign still says open!

Had our baptism party catered yesterday and it was wonderful. None of the meat was dry but delicious. The grilled veggie tray was not typical store bought bagged veggies but wonderfully grilled large pieces of veggies. Tons of feta on the salad. It was great.

Do you want to place your order and wait at least 15-20 minutes for it to be ready? Then you won’t be disappointed here! Do you like to place your order ahead of time so you can show up 30 minutes later to pick it up quickly? OUCH, then you might be disappointed here. Because here they specialize in waiting until you show up to pick it up, before they start prepping it, that way you can wait an extra 15-20 minutes. How about gyro meat…do you like your gyro meat cut EXTRA EXTRA thick and then cooked on the grill to remove any remaining juices so it’s about as dry as jerky? EXCELLENT! Then bring yourself over to Mr Greek on Kingston road where flavour, efficiency or speed, is not in their vocabulary! This review is based on at least 8-10 visits. Finally gave up after the last visit.

Walk in order. Got home and order was wrong 15 minute drive. Called store and they took my number to call me back. Restaurant was empty when I walked in at 5pm. So order was easy how can you mess it up but they did We ask for fries with the souvlaki dinners we got rice which we don’t like. The owner called me and said next time we are in he will give us large complimentary fries. What a joke. Wrong answer should have said we will deliver fresh food asap. Not going back.

Long time customer. Sadly the staff was not following protocol. The least you can do when you step out of the kitchen or from behind the cash to go outside(touching the door with gloves and utensils) and not washing their hands or changing gloves. Be careful we wonder why covid spreads.

Food is ok. Doesn't hit the same as it used years ago when I used to have it in downtown Toronto and Scarborough. The salad dressing provided didn't taste good. Ordered the chicken soulvaki dinner and it was around $20, super expensive. There are cheaper and more tastier Greek options available in the area. Also there is no A/C so don't bother dining unless you want to get melted. Looks like the staff was struggling to work in those conditions.

Prices have gone way up and portions at this location are smaller. I go to few Mr Greeks because I like getting the Gyro with salad and one side(vegtables) and a bottle of water. This now costs $21. It used to be around $15. I understand having to pay more, but this location gives smaller portions compared to other Mr Greek locations.

My husband just purchased 2 chicken gyros in pitas for lunch. While they were taking the chicken off the skewer, he noticed that it was very tiny dry pieces that were being shaved off as there wasn’t a lot of meat left. He asked whether it was fresh and the individual stated that it’s fresh and provided two wraps filled with a few tiny pieces of extra dry chicken and brown lettuce. We were excited to see a Mr.Greek in this area, but would never purchase from here again, really disappointing.

Employes we’re very professional in serving the food and delivery on time. Ordered the day before for a wedding. Order $6650 worth of food and was all ready by the time I arrived for pick up. Manager was very polite and prepared, looking forward to ordering again. Highly recommend.

This place is such a rip off!! So over priced. I purchased a order of Greek potatoes and I received 4 half potatoes. I inquired about the size of a small and she showed me a large dish but put a very small portion in it. Go to Greek Freak it's better for half the price.

The side salad was good but I was not a fan of the chicken souvlaki pita. I didn't like the salad mix they added, the tomatoes were gigantic there was not enough tzatziki. The chicken was kind of dry. It also felt kind of expensive I got the side salad a chicken souvlaki Pita and a bottle of water and it came $16.93 which is a lot for lunch.

Have been twice recently, first was take-out and second time was in the restaurant (Saturday and Sunday lunches, respectively). First thing is first, their French Fries were top-notch crispy fresh out of fryer, I was astonished. Take-out fries, as expected, isn't as good, but that's not their fault. We ordered the gyros boxes both times and they were pretty good, no complaints. During out sit-down meal (we were the only customers at the time), the staff were particularly attentive, including providing glasses of water unasked (we had forgotten to buy drinks) and asking us how things were. The site is very clean and bright with lots of windows and sunlight, and they clearly put the effort into cleanliness.

Didn’t get a chance to try the food. The service was garbage. The menu presented choices that I asked for and the dude behind the counter was very smug, told me rudely there was none of what I was asking for. No apology, not even trying to say it professionally, just nope we have none. It almost felt like he was lying about it because he didn’t want to serve me.

We tried to order food but were completely ignored. Went there last weekend (the long weekend) and there was one person in the restaurant eating and another a head of us in line. There were a total of 3 people working that I could see in the front. When the guy finished taking the women's order ahead of us he just walked away, no acknowledgement that we were there nothing. We waited 12 minutes ( I checked on my phone) with no acknowledgement that we were there waiting. I called to the staff there and they ignored me. We walked out at the 15 minute mark. I would be really concerned as management, the staff there was disinterested, the phone was ringing, they didn't attempt to answer either. I suspect this place will be closing soon.

June 14/2023 Ordered a Spinach Wrap with chicken. First bite, I noticed the chicken smelled fishy. Mentioned to the cook that the wrap didn't smell right, it smelled fishy, and I was told that it's the sauce they marinate it in that smells fishy. I said 'really?' ok, will try some more with that in mind. **Red flag** who in their right mind marinates chicken with a sauce that smells fishy??? Not appealing. Had another bite & couldn't stand the smell. Told the cook that the chicken is definitely off & it is "disgusting", actually sickening. Left the store having paid for a meal, disgusted & hungry. I'd rather that, than have full blown food poising. Don't cover up your rotting food with a fishy story. They could have offered to refund my meal. Steve

I ordered a simple chicken souvlaki pita with simple ingredients as per the menu board; tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, lettuce, and onions. I didn’t expect to get carrots as a surprise topping! Unfortunately, I am allergic to carrots, and have never had carrots on a souvlaki pita. Therefore I would never have asked to make it without carrots. The pita bread itself is too thick and doughy. I don’t think it’s meant for serving souvlaki. Two pitas took almost 15mins to make with no one else in the restaurant. First and last time visit.

Once again I didn't eat here I am Vegan. My son Did. He said to give it 5 Stars. He ordered Souvlaki Chicken seems to really like it.

My wife I prefer this location, as to others their tzatziki is my wife's favourite she don't usually eat the chicken gyro meat, I like the lamb and beef gyro and the village salad, get their take out you'll get more portions!

Beware of this place. They show pictures of the food you're going to be ordering. They should be charged for fraud. My Greek signature salad showed nothing but vegetables. When I got it it was 90% lettuce. I voiced my complaint no reaction whatsoever. So the food you see in those great fantastic pictures, are nothing like you're going to be getting.

Delicious food and great presentation. Takes some time for food but worth the wait! Would like to see more drink options (coffee)

Mr Greek catered our 50th wedding anniversary, and our guests could not stop raving about how good the food was, it arrived hot and they set it all up on the table…an amazing experience, as we had never used them for a catered event before! Great job everyone, thank you for contributing to a perfect day!

Staff was friendly. Wonderful service. Manager/owner took time to make sure we had enjoyed our meal. Best grilled vegetables! Would definitely go back.

Got lamb souvlaki and meat very gristly. I ordered rice and potatoes and got home to discover grilled vegetables and potatoes instead. My daughter had eagerly awaited a classic dinner but no rice. I drove 30 minutes to this location. Last time I ordered 3 lamb medium rare and all 3 overcooked. I will look for a new restaurant.

Order online for delivery...delivery time cones and goes....I call....order made but an item out of stock....no refund because " you already paid" no driver either....I bet this order doesn't show up. So frustrating....I want my money back.

Delicious and everything tasted amazing. Pork souvlaki plate was delicious - and the pork was especially soft. Signature Greek salad and potatoes were perfect. Grilled calamari was soft (not rubbery).

Worst place to order from.........52 min to prepare a $70 order, missing parts of the combos and senting wrong kind of meat.....i guess what was not selling that day. Awfull!!!!!

Wow! I should of read prior reviews before stopping here. A simple 2 meals I ordered. 25 minutes later and after 2 uber eats orders and Skips along with other walks in, my ordered appeared. The order was wrong and the Gyros was super greasy. I won't e returning to this location.

I placed an order at the Pickering Mr Greek and the food was cold. The order took 15 minutes to prepare and I got there, paid, and still got told to wait. I got my food and went home. The fries were cold and hard, they used to give pita bread with pork sticks but not anymore, wraps were cold, and I asked for a bill and turns out they never gave it to me.

Just because your customers are doing orders through an online app it doesn't mean it's okay to send them overdone and dry meat. On top of missing items absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

Forget to give me a salad. So I just took my money back when they weren't looking.

Had a craving for Mr.Greek Fries with Feta and their House Red Sauce. Delicious!

I’ve been coming here to this restaurant for about 2 1/2 years now and I can say that I’ve quite enjoyed my experience with this establishment. The food has always been cooked well and the portions have been very well worth every penny. The staff is very friendly and try to make sure your experience to the restaurant is always a pleasant one. The menu has changed to expand customer needs and taste. Well worth the wait !

My large Greek potatoes had like a old french fry that aslo looked moldy i saw it after i ate half...eww...and the chicken souvlaki was burned and dry and hard.

Whenever I want greek food, I always go to Mr. Greek. Every time I went, it always tastes sooo good. I order the same thing every time : 2 chicken slouvaki skewers and a regular rice. I went about an hour ago and I came home so excited, just for the food to taste burnt. I found bits and pieces of burnt charcoal in the rice (NOT pepper), I tasted the rice separately from the sauce and the rice tasted burnt that I couldn’t even taste anything. The red sauce on the rice wasn’t how it usually tastes. It’s supposed to be a tomato sauce but i found burnt bits in it as well (NOT black pepper) and everything tasted burnt. I can assure you that it is NOT pepper because it tasted like burnt grill.
