I dont know how I missed this spot for so long. Pure authentic Delhi style Indian food in Durham region! This place is an Indian non-veg food lovers Heaven. We have ordered Tandoori chicken (which came in on a sizzler 😃) so tender and juicy, dal makhni was amazing, and butter naan was soft and tasty. The food was fresh and authentic. I would recommend anyone try this place. It really does feel like food for the soul. Note: The restaurant is clean and well-kept. I would recommend to reserve table before visit as they have limited siting option. Anyone who sees this review, mark my word, and try this place once.

Our lunch at this restaurant was terrible and expensive! I ordered butter chicken poutine and my husband ordered butter chicken thali. There were 3 small pieces of chicken (barely seen) in my poutine, for $10.00 + taxes. My husband's meal was previously cooked and had been sitting in trays at the front $15.00 + taxes (small qty of rice, lentils, a chicken leg, 2 tiny pieces of butter chicken and a nan). The charge for dine in is more than take out for the same items. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not return!

Folks, I highly recommend this place for people who want to get a taste of real Indian Delhi style food in GTA. The food is so tasty with the right amount of spices and heat. I am writing this review after trying out Take-Out twice and Patio Dine-In once and can vouch that food has been consistently excellent. I have tried their Chola Kabab, Fish Tikka, Keema Naan, Aloo Kulcha, Chole Bhature, Tandoori Chicken & Baigan Bhartha and each and every of these dishes has been one of the best or even the best I have had so far. The owner of this place is a foodie and understands what customers want a very nice person to talk. I wish he gets to convert it into a proper dine in place as well. If you check out my reviews for other restaurants, I rarely give 5 ⭐️ but this place definitely deserves.

Update(26Nov, 2023)- Top notch quality and service is what Milanu’s delivered to us. We had ordered catering for 25 people for Diwali 2023 lunch and everything was super tasty. Even before delivery, Anurag explained the entire process patiently with every tiny details. It was nice every-time I talked to him and felt that my order is in good hands. I appreciate the suggestions he provided for deciding menu items and assuring the quality, delivery and taste of food. Food was delivered on time with care and portion sizes were more than expected. Everyone loved the food and kept asking about the place we ordered from. I was busy at hosting so forgot to take pictures of lip smacking food to post for this review. Menu Items we picked - Starter - Veg Kebabs and Kurkuri Gobhi Main dishes- Paneer Masala, Aloo Matar Paneer & Daal Makhni Rice - Peas Pulav Raita - Boondi Raita Bread - Butter Naan Salad - Garden Salad Dessert - Gulab Jamun I had dine in experience prior to this with Milanu’s and I have always loved the authentic Delhi food. Their Chhole bhature are best in GTA. We will perhaps always use Milanu’s for catering from now onwards and highly recommend that anyone looking for catering or dine in or takeout for authentic Indian food, go for them without a doubt! Lastly, A big and heartfelt THANK YOU to Anurag and his team for delivering best quality and service. Old Review- One of the best authentic indian tasting food in Durham. They make everything super tasty and food portions are great. I have tried aloo kulcha, chatpata chaap, chhole bhature, main dishes and breads, rolls etc. Basically lots of items from their menu and everything is pure indian taste with right amount for flavors and spices. Highly recommended.

Reached here after an amazing day at Darlington Provincial Park. This was closest to 401 towards Toronto. So not much of detour. Our amazement reached another level. The food was very authentic, exceeded our expectations in terms of taste, texture and quantities. The owner was very friendly and set realistic expectations regarding time to serve us. Worth the wait-time, rest assured you wouldn’t be disappointed if you eat here. Keep up your good work.

If you want to try Indian style BBQ, do check out MILANU'S TANDOORI GRILL in Pickering. They have a great variety in vegetarian menu too. We tried their vegetarian BBQ platter and Gobi 65. Everything was freshly made, their paneer, mushroom, soya nuggets were so juicy and just the right amount of spice and heat and were very well cooked. Their staff was friendly and the service was super quick. We went their with our 6 months old baby and the place is kids friendly. We loved it and highly recommend!

Friendly, delicious. I was thrilled to discover delicous Indian cusine close to home. My family and I ordered from here when they first opened and have continued to ever since. Staff is freindly, able to anser any questions, and always deliver amazing food. We like to get the Non-Vegetarian BBQ Pack #2 which includes tandoori chicken, fish, rice, and naan; perfect meal for a family. I also enjoy their Chicken Tikka Masala and Dal Makhani. Try something new and support Milanu!

Everything was made fresh, the fish is amazing, nice and friendly services. A bit more upscale comparing with other Indian restaurants but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Recently went to Milanu’s for dinner. Ordered the butter chicken, chilli chicken, naan and their Hakka chow mein. All dishes were superb. The Hakka food is a recent add to the restaurant’s menu - pleasantly surprised by how good it was. A high recommend. (Try their Garlic Naan!!!).

This place hits my top list for Indian food. The people who work here are very kind and welcoming. The food is tasty. It’s made on the spot and you can taste the difference when I am part of town is my go to place for a nice meal, and a smile, I gave it a four star on the atmosphere. The only reason being that I believe that they can improve is the more warm lighting to the restaurant itself. Otherwise this place is immaculate very well run and absolutely amazing.

Milanu’s never ever disappoint us regardless of whether we get a snack or a full meal. I was really lucky to have them cater a party of over 30 people and for a special friend celebrating her milestone birthday. The food came hot! Andy made sure to arrange the food trays properly in the heat containing trays. There were no spills and the trays worked great for out cheffing dishes. Andy took the time to understand the menu, make his own suggestions and adhered to the spice and dietary restrictions. The evening turned out to be awesome! People loved the food so much! Definitely going back for more! He does excellent work with Goat dishes!

Restaurant located at a busy plaza . Small restaurant with nice decorations. At first when we went there it was not busy. With time it started to fill up pretty quick . Wow place food flavor was very good. Worth the taste . It's pricey for its portions . Portions were small compared to most of the places we been to. But for its taste.. its very good . Good job chefs ...

Food here was amazing! Service was great, waitress was very patient in answering all our questions and explaining what each item was. I've been waiting for a new spot to go to for Indian food and this is it! No more having to drive to Brampton for authentic Indian food! They also have great options for vegetarians which was nice to see(aside from the regular curries)!

Sometimes when you have a gem right next to you, it does not get the attention and love that it is due. Similar is the case with Milanu's Tandoori Grill - I cannot sing it's praises enough and it throroughly deserves all the accolades and rave reviews by it's patrons. We have visited Milanu's earlier when it had patio seating which we had enjoyed. Now, however, we had to sit inside. The restaurant itself is very clean with neatly arranged seating. We were greeted politely by Aaron and showed to our table. Aaron was also gracious and efficient throughout our stay by not only proferring recommendations but also bringing out the food quickly. We ordered the following: - Fried Fish --> delicately fried morsels of fresh fish. It was crispy and not oily at all. Served with a mint chutney and a small salad of lettuce, cucumber and onions - Chicken 65 --> boneless pieces of fried chicken coated with a tangy sauce redolent with the flavour of mustard seeds and dry red chillies. It reminded me of a similar dish that I have had in Chennai - Chicken Tikka Masala --> we chose this instead of going for the ubiquitous butter chicken. It was good in terms of it's creaminess and lack of in-your-face sweetness. My kids enjoyed it immenseley - Punjabi Goat Curry --> a thick onion-based gravy which went very well with the naan as well as with the pulao. This was the absolute STAR of the whole meal for us. It was hands down one of the best renditions of a goat curry that I have ever had. I'm going to always order this every time I visit - Garlic Naan --> large, thin and crisp naans. Be careful how many you order as we had ordered 4 naans and could only finish 2 and a half (for a family of two adults and two children) - Punjabi Veg Pulao --> we wanted to order plain basmati rice to eat alongwith the curries but chose this instead. It was a good companion to the goat curry - Masala Chai --> spice Indian milk tea. Although I don't find highly spiced teas very appealing, this tea was so addictive and helped to wash down all the great food All in all, we couldn't have asked for a more delightful meal experience on a quiet Sunday afternoon. This restaurant deserves to be high on the list of Pickering's best places to dine at. Stopped in today for a bite to eat and what a fantastic place.The owner was super friendly and chatty. The food was incredible. The spice was just perfect. If you are ever in the area and are looking for some amazing Indian food this is the place to go. If you do not know what to order the owner will order for you and believe me, trust his choices.

Paneer Tikka Wrap. Decided to try out their paneer tikka wrap, and let me tell you, this is one of the best paneer tikka wraps that I have tasted in Pickering/Scarborough area. The naan is very soft and easy to bite and chew. The paneer and the rest of the vegetables is full of flavour and taste. Would definitely go back and order this again. Once amazing paneer tikka wrap.

Great food!!! Went there today for the first time and ordered the lamb pulao, chicken tikka masala, fish curry, paneer butter masala, and butter and garlic naan. Amazing quality and taste plus the spice was just perfect! Will definitely come back again.

When people usually order for pickup in advance it's not because they want to go to the store and stand there for the order to be made. I called and was told the order will be ready in 20-25 min. I went after 30 min and paid for the item and was just standing there. If for any reason my order is late how about you communicate and let me know hey your order is late just wait for 10min or 15min. I was waiting patiently and nope, no sign of my order. When I asked the guy in the front if it was going to take longer he seriously just raised his hand and said yea sorry in such an insincere way that it was honestly disrespectful! After standing there for 25min (total time now 55min) my order was finally ready. It's post covid and you might be short staffed but the store wasn't busy and my order wasn't big at all. Food was average at best. Not too many proper Indian restaurants in Durham region and so the hype is understandable. If food was good everything else is worthwhile but honestly it wasn't.

Very good service by staff behind the register. Food was well prepared and they brought it to the car when ready. They also offer a loyalty program which is something I have not seen at an Indian restaurant, great job!

The yummiest Chana Bhatura in Scarborough! Must try!! I had been craving the original Punjabi taste and this place has granted my wish 😍it’s delicious! Pindi Chana tastes exactly like it used to back home 🤤 I ordered via Doordash so no comments on service or atmosphere.

Just visited this place, but flavor-wise, it didn't impress. The Karahi chicken had an unexpected sweetness, and the veg curry was too spicy—felt like eating pure mirchi powder. On top of that, some surprise charges. Not exactly my taste haven, wouldn't recommend for a flavorful experience. Decide cautiously if you're looking for a predictable taste experience.

Had lunch at Milanu's today. Our first time there and we loved it. Where do I start - the prices are good, portions are fair, the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Enough vegan options to give you a good variety. Any questions about the menu items or ingredients are promptly answered. You may wait a bit for your meal BUT the food is fresh and hot (it hasn't been sitting around).

A popular place for Indian cuisine ( north-indian) in the area. More preferred for delivery orders and party orders, it seems. We were a family group of 6 for sit-in dinner. 4 members have had dined in and also ordered food from this place on a few occasions earlier. They strongly recommend this place and ordered some of the dishes which they had liked last time. However, while over all the food was good, they said that the preparation this time was not that great. The place can accommodate about 30+ dine-in pax. Not a very fancy place, but the service is good and staff is courteous. Worth a try definitely.

I have no words to explain how amazing the food is. My husband is a foodie and never compromises on food. He is so fond of Milanu Tandoori grill that we are driving 2 hour every Saturday to eat the delicious meal. This restaurant is super clean and atmosphere is amazing. The service reminded me of some of the finest restaurants in New Delhi India. The Indian cocktails are worth trying.

I have frequented this place and just got a take out few chicken items which i have ordered few times in the past. Our family could tell the difference in quality of the food declining over the period of time. The taste is not the same as it used to be. I am a big fan of North Indian food and I go looking for new places to feel the difference in tastes and this experience was not the same as previous ones I had with Milanu's. I would still try this place and try other items, but overall worth the money, but please assure the taste and quality stays the same.

The best Tandoori restaurant. We ordered Fish for starter, which is awesome.. The chicken is so mouth watering 😋. The Garlic Naan is so soft. Must try... The service is very good. Best place to have non-veg platter.

We recently ordered food for a house party... Everything was perfect. The ordering process was smooth. The food arrived on time, packed nicely, hot and fresh. All items were delicious, right from the raita to the dessert. The portion size was also generous. All in all, a great experience. Definitely ordering again.

I visited this place in pickering. The food was amazing. I had Pindi Chana and it was delicious. Restaurant was clean and the service was good. Affordable price with good quality Indian food. They serve alcohol too.

First time dining here! The food was absolutely delicious. Really nice flavors and spice blends, super yummy naan, friendly service, very clean and a warm atmosphere.

First time visiting and the staff was very friendly. Tried their samosas and they were amazing! I think they even sprinkle chat masala on top which adds more flavor. Will be back to try other dishes.

Decided to try the place because of the good ratings. We ordered the tandoori chicken tikka for $11.49 and the butter chicken (includes rice) for $16 for 2 people. The tandoori chicken tikka was 5 pieces. The butter chicken was 5 pieces. You can see in the photo the portions of meat are disappointing. I would rank flavour 5/5 value 3/5. I felt it was pricey for what you got. I won't likely order again ala carte menu. However their lunch specials are tasty and good value.

I come from a family who have professional chefs in the family so can recognize quality cooking and service. This place amazes me, professional outfit, excellent food, awesome customer service. As far as people commenting on price and quantity…it takes personal experience in restaurant business to know why authentic ethnic fresh food does not come cheap like packaged, fast food or processed food. Everything I have tried…veg or non veg here is excellent quality and taste. Good job guys, it is my family’s first choice for Authentic Indian cuisine.

The best Indian food I've ever had!!! I ordered Milanu's for one of my wedding events and it was a major hit! All of my guests loved the food. It was so delicious! This place is a must try! You will not be disappointed.
