One of my favourite places for Jerk Chicken in the area. Like someone said, no chicken breast but I like thighs and drumsticks better anyway. I think their oxtail gravy is the tastiest and sauciest in the area (they're a chain with a number of locations) - just make sure to ask for extra gravy.

I'm very disappointed. I ordered some jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken was dry. I can now say why my coworkers don't like coming here, saying the food sucks. I think Sunrise is loosing their touch. Their oxtail gravy is too sweet.

They have no white meat like most West Indian restaurants. The Jerk could be a bit more drier. Still it better than Allwyns across the street. However the odd time you will get a tough day old festival if your not keen on checking before you leave. My #1 spot for West Indian food is Beryls but Sunrise jerk is still spicier and tastes better.

Very tasty food! Always fresh. One of the best Sunrise restaurant locations I have been to and I am a regular so that definitely says something especially since I am very picky with my food and how it is prepared.

I had oxtail with the bean rice!!! It was amazing!! Loved every bite 😋 I can't wait to go back but I live so far away now 🥺 how about opening one here in port perry 🥰🥰🥰🥰

The restaurant looked really good. I ordered the jerk chicken and unfortunately it was dry as a dessert. The rice was good but really disappointed at the jerk chicken. It was housed in this heated glass display. Lady working there seemed like she hated talking to people. Will never go back.

Definitely one of the better Sunrise locations of the bunch for customer service. I always would get the Stew Chicken meal, until they changed the menu prices and recipes. Now coleslaw isn't included with your dinner, it is extra and the stew chicken either isn't available or completely different than it originally was. A lot seemed to change with Sunrise since going main stream. I don't order stew chicken anymore, if I do go to Sunrise (which is less and less) I get the BBQ chicken, its really good. The staff/employees here are nice though too.

The service was fine, but the food was not up to par. The fried chicken was average, rice and peas ok ,but the veggie curry was a mix of frozen vegetables with no flavour whatsoever. Also the roti skin was barely edible. We were visiting Toronto and craving great weat-indian food. Looks like we will have to make another trip and it will not be back here again!!

From I started visiting this location about 7 years ago, every staff members that I have encounter has been very gracious, inviting, polite and courteous. On many occasions when you find Caribbean in the food service industry the staff has bad attitude. They act as if by providing service to a patron they are doing that patron a favor. Not at Sunrise. You're always greeted with warm and friendly service.

Closed an hour before their posted time... thats what I get for going out of my way for it. Wont happen again. Great food but terribly ran business regardless of the location

Prices on ALL the items are WAY higher than other ethnic places. Ordered a red bean/beef soup. SO SO SALTY. Just ate a few spoons and threw the rest away. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Will not return.

Ordered on Uber eats, original price was $75+ got 4 of the smallest sized styrofoam boxes of food. Overpriced.

Kem is exceptionally nice snd her customer service is second to none. I enjoy coming for her smile and warm personality. The food is great and I’ve been coming for years for breakfast lunch and dinner and it never disappoints.

It was above and beyond some of the other West Indian places but the process will likely prevent me from going back anytime soon. $20 a plate after tax with a drink caan work.

Delicious! Ordered through UberEats. Everything was hot & fresh even with restaurant 10 mins away. They also listened to my special requests. I’ve tried other Sunrise locations but this one was far superior. Can’t wait to eat their food again! 😋
