Booking an appointment for walk-in was easy, and the front desk staff was kind and gave clear instruction. I was looked after immediately and didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes to see a doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Fonberg was terrible. He has a horrible bedside manner. He did not introduce himself or ask my name and was hostile from the beginning. He did not ask any questions about my medical history, nor seem to care about my health at all. When I asked for a note, he accused me of being "completely healthy". I apologized for the fact that I even needed to ask for a note, but the world we live in dictates that I provide one. I was clear about my symptoms, and even had a journal tracking them. When I asked him if I had done something to offend him he did not respond. As a woman who is usually capable of advocating for herself, I felt dismissed and unsafe. I was visibly upset and near tears over his behaviour. I will be reporting him to the CPSO.

Decent walk-in clinic. The doctor was attentive. If you are in the neighourhood, I just dropped my and they served me well.

I use to recommend this clinic to everyone.. until recently.. whoever is now working front desk should clearly be fired. Ive been waiting a week and a half for my prescription, not only did i show up too two different pharmacies for my prescription and it was never “sent” to either since they blamed it on the first pharmacy? they wont answer the phone or return my calls during business hours.

Called them 20 times today and not even once they picked. Have no sense of urgency. The 2 stars are only because my Doctor is nice and well educated.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so mixed for this Danforth Walk-in Clinic. I had a great experience and everyone there was lovely. Went in and spoke with the reception (lovely). She's polite and professional and did my needed paperwork. I went into a room shortly thereafter and Dr. Patel came to see me. She's amazing, polite, professional, asked the needed questions and gave me the prescription I needed for my concern. She took the time to instruct me on how to use the medication, warned of side effects, and next steps. She also answered the questions that I had. Decided to get my prescription filled out at the in-store pharmacy - again polite and pleasant staff. Pharmacist (Hema) also asked me a few questions before instructing me on how to use the medication. There was rapport and pleasantries. I really appreciated that there wasn't a long wait time and I had no appointment so I was purely a walk in client. No issues on my end at all. I would definitely go back to see Dr. Patel!

The waiting room was completely empty but they wanted me to book an appointment. If I have to book an appointment you are not a walk in clinic. Please change your sign to reflect this.

Don’t even know why it’s listed as a clinic. I walked in (as is posted on their sign) multiple hours before closing time and was greeted with a ghost town of a waiting room. Not a single patient in sight. Was told they’d reached full capacity. Next option would be the ER. For a prescription refill? I think not. I’d hope these clinics evaluate their practices and policies and do better for the patients. Nurse practitioners need to be hired more often if these doctors can’t keep up with their daily patient load.

I really think the reception should get fired, or the MANAGEMENT NEEDS IMPROVMENT. She is very unprofessional, No reply back with the e-mail, which was suppose to be booked last Saturday and yet no reply until NOW! It's such a SHAME, No work ethic, UNPROFESSIONAL, Called couple time to book an appointment but NO ANSWER, NO REPLY or FEEDBACK from the receptionist. Will Definitely complain to CPSO if this keeps happening.

As all other reviews about Dr Eric Fonberg, I also found him disrespectful and arrogant in his demenour. Previously Dr Yaser Haddawi was very cordial and seemed competent, but sent me to do the wrong type of blood analysis, according to Dr Fonberg, so I'm not sure which one is my favourite yet.

Firstly, this clinic never ever picks up their phone. Not sure if it’s because of a fault phone or because of the receptionists. You can call 3x a day at different times and no one ever picks up the phone. I have even tried calling back on a different day and same thing. Secondly, I was booked for an appt this week which was an in-person appt. The day of the appt, I received a call that my appt was cancelled because of the walk-in doctor being sick. Can’t really argue much if the doctor is sick but I told the receptionist that I would want to rebook and if she could do so for me as whenever I call, they rarely ever pick up the phone. Receptionist kept on saying that I should call in on Thursday to see if the doctor is in even though I expressed my concern of my call never being picked up. She did not seem to care about what I was saying and again, just told me to call back on Thursday. The logical solution would be to just book an appt and then cancel on the day of if the doctor was not available but I guess that was too hard to understand? Very disappointed in the clinic and hope they can make improvements to serve their patients better!

Ugh. So I saw the sketchy reviews on here and shoud’ve listened. Instead, I went for a walk in. I got there and they said the doctors is only seeing people over the phone. There were 2 other patients and they weren’t wearing masks. The first had his mask under his nose. The other took his mask completely down as he was talking to the receptionist. The 2 people working in there didn’t say anything and were acting like this was completely normal. Needless to say, I changed my mind and got the heck out of there, and used seethedoctor.ca instead. Totally disturbed. This place is disgusting.

Not really a walk-in clinic when there’s an empty waiting area 3hrs before closing and they say they’re full for the day. It’s all about expectation setting. This is just another practice inside run-down premises.

Yet another useless walk-in that claims they're at capacity 2 to 3 hours before their posted hours say they close, yet the waiting room is empty. Do any doctors actually work in this city, or do they just send everyone to the emergency room so they can leave early for the cottage?!?!?!?

I didn't have a mask which they require and the only ones they had to offer were $5 which I didn't have on me even if I would be willing to pay it. $5? Really? I was refused medical service and definitely won't be returning since clearly profiteering is more important to them than people's health. Shameful.

Like seriously things are back.to normal now and so many doctors are still doing these virtuaĺ appts. why have virtual appointments on a Friday right before the weekend. Super inconvenient for the community.

Terrible service and even worse doctors I very much caution the public from visiting this location. They are untrained and prescribe medications that harm ppl not knowing what’s really wrong with them.

I don’t really understand the bad reviews about this place. I’ve been here twice after scouring the city for a solid walk in clinic (truly a WALK IN, no need for booking appointments) and bother Dr. Craik and Dr. Lurie are amazing, professional, and give solid answers. I will continue to come here. Fantastic doctors office that makes you feel safe and welcome

I don't understand the bad reviews. Yes, reception is busy. Leave a voice mail and they will call you back. This is not unreasonable. I got an appointment quickly, and was seen and treated promptly and thoroughly. Dr Craik is a godsend.

What a hassle trying to get a repeat on a simple antibiotic. Unlike any other pharmacy, they have no clue on how to fax the Doctor I spoke roo. Who is right there every Saturday. Fastest, and most professional, service ever at a Walk-in Clinic. Clean and Friendly too.

I’ve called you several times for my husband who was in terrible condition and all I am getting is your voicemail, where no one calls back. I’ve called for myself to check in registration for new patients, but no one has time to respond. Family physician will be changed for my husband because all you do and answer when he has an appointment is “I don’t know” try with this or that and we have to pay to do it in private clinics. Shame on you and your work!

We just went to this walking clinic and there were just 5 people waiting and it’s 1:20 pm on a Saturday and the man at the reception said sorry we are fully booked and we are closing at 3pm. They sure could take us but because they are not patient centred they rejected us. Very poor service.

I had a disappointing experience at this walk-in clinic. The receptionist was rude and seemed uninterested in helping. Surprisingly, despite the blood pressure machine being right there, they didn't bother checking my blood pressure. Even though there was no one in waiting list , he claimed there were no available slots for the day and refused to book for the next day either. Even I don’t know Why they call them clinic ,when they are not interested to take patients.

I had an appointment with Dr. Alison Craik. She is an excellent specialist, a pleasant person. Thank you to the doctor and the person at the reception for understanding and a quick solution👍🏻 Sonal Patel doctor to whom I constantly come and recommend to everyone! A very nice person and a professional in his field!

Horrible. Shame on the staff that is working the front. My 8yrs daughter who needed urgent attention was refused medical assistance on 5th may,2023 at 4.20pm. i was told to go somewhere else. Even said to me they don't care if i complain to ohip. What a shameful staff. Please don't go there. Go somewhere else

The doc who was there when I went couldn't do sutures, but the receptionist still had me sit there for an hour to find that out. I came in with a bad cut on my finger (I showed it to the receptionist) and sat and waited patiently only to learn that I had to go to the ER.

They call on time and so far i've received excellent treatment. The Doc handling me is quite sincere and wants to help. I'm sure it makes it easier when I listen to what this expert is saying and try to adapt these changes into my routine. The complaints I've been reading below seem petty and childish GET SMARTER and wake up to your surroundings.

Worst experience ever at a walk in clinic. I was sent home when I was showing the first symptoms of anaphylaxis. I ended up in ER 1h after that. Completely incompetent. Do not recommend at all

The receptionist Patrick is nothing but kind and reliable. Dr. Lurie is a great physician, he is personable and provides direct answers to your concerns. Having the option to have a phone appointment is very helpful during these times. Lastly, the pharmacy personnel are fast and always have a friendly rapport with everyone they serve.

Stay away from this place! Very unprofessional and rude staff. The worst walk-in clinic I have ever been to. They asked me to get some tests done at the clinic and said that they will be covered and then a few days later I got an invoice asking me to pay for it. I had told them that I am an international student and everything will be out of my own pocket. The receptionist was very rude and his attitude was very unsympathetic.

The clinic is only offering phone visits right now, which is actually pretty convenient. I was able to speak with a doctor within an hour of calling to book an appointment (Dr. Manga was polite and respectful and I was really happy with the help she provided), a requisition form was emailed to me right after the call, and the clinic called a few days later to set up an appointment to discuss the results. I had a good experience here and will go back in the future - I think they're also accepting new patients which is good to know.

The reception person gave clear instructions. I was recommended to come in during specific hours for stitch removal. I had a great doctor, very nice, personable and efficient. Explained things very well. I was in an out less than 10 minutes. Great hours. I went in on a Monday evening around 7pm. I will go back
