Millennium Maze

City park

👍 Appealing traditional maze now matured from Yew saplings planted in 1999. Appropriately scaled to convey a mild challenge and an amusing torment to children…of all ages. And succeeds admirably. More the pity the surroundings degraded by litter discarded by nincompoops and dummkopfs. People often mention maze, kids,

Kids enjoyed the maze, but much like other areas of this park it was a bit untidy (litter) in places. Maze itself is not overly difficult, but certainly kept our small people busy for 10+ minutes!! There is a viewing platform both at the side and in the middle.

The maze isn't kept in best order but it's always lots of fun for kids.

A great idea and great fun for kids. The maze isn't too big or onerous. The hedges are just under 5ft tall and there is an easily accessible look out post at the centre.

So nice to see how the maze has grown over the years. I wish they'd find the time to pick up the rubbish, as it's such a nice maze, spoilt by overflowing bins and litter blowing about. Not what you want to show to friends visiting from elsewhere.

Not a bad maze. The idea is good. However there was excrement from foxes or dogs within the maze.

Fun, open for all, maze for kids up to 10-ish & kids at heart. Two entrances, so you can race to get to the middle platform. Viewing platform for parents at the entrance.

The kids loved it! We tried both sides and the muddy puddles added to the fun!

Splendid day with two 7 year olds. The maze is fun and not too complicated. The park and play ground are tidy and well kept, all parents were friendly and staff in the cafe were patient with children and parents. For a day in the fresh-air 30 minutes from Paddington, this is a very good option. Did not have time to visit the zoo, from the outside it looks clean and good quality for the creatures.
