👍👍 Very well kept and brilliant hard working staff in amphibious section. Manager also recently helped me with something and was brilliant really pleased. A good 40 tanks of fish + plant tanks etc. Goos variety of products fairly priced for most part. People often mention garden, plants, centre, cafe, staff, selection, good, lunch, friendly, outdoor,

Garden staff are knowledgeable about plants & the Centre have extensive varieties of flowers & plants. Nice place to shop and eat at the fabulous Cafe. Slightly disappointed with cashier customer service. Overall a great place to shop for plants & household stuff.

Squire's is a very well stocked garden centre on the day we visited. They were getting ready for Christmas even though it was only mid-October. The restaurant at Squire does breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. There is also a pet centre that we didn't go into. We had lunch while we were there. We can recommend the ham egg and chips, baked potato with prawns, but not the Mayaysian veg curry it was very watery with no real flavour shame as it looked nice.

Lovely garden centre and restaurant café taking bookings for Christmas celebrations. We stopped for lunch, the staff were very friendly and helpful, brought our food and drinks over to the table, everything was done fresh to order. Disabled and parent parking conveniently close to the entrance / exit door, wide aisles.

Great store. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpfull. The store has both and indoor area for furniture, tools, seeds etc, outdoor space for plants & trees as well a pet centre with an array of fish on offer. Reasonable prices. Lots of parking spaces outside. Wouldn't hesitate to visit.

The woman who served us with our tropical fish was kind and efficient and knowledgeable. However the cafe was a complete let down. I approached the woman behind the counter and said Hello to her. She was looking down at her paperwork and continued to look down as I spoke to her. There was a blackboard with the Soup of the Day on it but nothing else. The only food on show was cakes and muffins. My granddaughter saw the muffins and wanted one. I wanted to buy her a proper meal but as there was none to be seen I agreed to her having it. I later discovered that proper meals were available but by that time my granddaughter had her heart set on the muffin. There is a sign further down saying you could ask for a menu but it was very easy to miss.

This place is like having a mini-holiday away from the madness outside. Plenty of parking space with nearby bus stops for non-drivers. An oasis of calm to allow peaceful and leisurely shopping for every gardener's need. While there, visit the well stocked and extremely well kept pets and aquatics section. Buy a spade, get some roses, load up with seeds and seedlings. Have an absolute ball. You can top it all off with breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea in their excellent cafe. And, no, I don't work there or even have shares in it. Just a very happy and satisfied customer.

Lovely large garden centre. I found the plants to be well priced and they had a huge selection of other things too. It's a lovely place to while away a few hours, with a little cafe on site. Particularly enjoyed peering into the koi tanks and watching them all swim around!

Needed help with choosing the right plants and had an amazing attendant who really knew her stuff and took time to advise us. Was a very positive experience.

Lovey place to spend a relaxing time. The café is nice and the food is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. I love looking at their selection of water features and listening to the water sound. Highly recommended.

I went to the aquatic section to ask for some advice. I spoke to a really nice helpful man called Eddie. He was very knowledgeable and full of great advice. He even asked another colleague, I don't know his name, for help and advice. I would definitely advise my friends to go here. Keep up the good work 😁

We planned to visit the store and eat out in the cafeteria. As we saw dogs in the shop during previous visits, we have arrived with our Yorkie and held him in our arms. Before entering to the cafeteria, we have asked if it was okay to do it with our tiny dog (having him on leash and on our lap) and we were told it’s fine. We have ordered food and drinks. After about 10 minutes waiting for the food suddenly the manager approached us saying “you can’t be here with the dog, you must leave!” No apology. We told her that we have already ordered and paid for the food. She replied that we could eat it outside (raining 28 December!) or take it away. She was extremely rude and we felt humiliated. We asked for refund and left. There’s no sign that dogs aren’t allowed in the cafeteria nor the building. During our visit there were other dogs on leash in the shop. If the manager would show basic costumer skills and if she wouldn’t be rude, I wouldn’t have written this review.

The best always ! I have tried many garden centers looking for the best flowering plants but I end up at squires at the end as they have the best quality plants and collection is unbeatable.

Garden centre is very good and large selection fish and plants. However avoid the cafe at any cost. Overcharging and food orders are often incorrect. Got the same amount of food for a 4 piece as an 8 piece breakfast. Very much a shame as this used to be a wonderful place to grab a breakfast and coffee alongside the plants. However have now frequented other local establishments.

I ordered online and they sent something completely different, it shouldn’t be available online if they don’t have it and they should contact you in advance in case you would like to accept or not the delivery of a different product. That’s why they collect your email and phone number for. I had to call them to get any information. I must say they offered to come back to pick them up and refund me, I refused, because I wont be home, but still is not a good customer experience. Newlands nursery had the product much cheaper with much cheaper delivery too. I love squires but won’t be shopping online again.

So much more than just a garden centre, fantastic selection of plants as well as outdoor furnishings, sheds, composts, water features etc. Kids love the aquarium in the pets section. Free car parking & cafe on site.

Good selection of plants. Other products such as homeware, gardening equipment and garden furniture, , outbuildings, along with toys, books and items of food and drink available to buy. Nice cafe on site. Good sized car park. Really nice place to stroll around and select plants and/or other goods from their wide range

Squires is a really nice garden centre. Apart from the usual things that a garden centre has, there is a separate pet centre and a onsite cafe. The staff are always really helpful, and right now there is a gorgeous Christmas display providing all sorts of items you never knew you needed!!

Very high end garden centre. Good quality plants. Great shop too with so much eg wellies, Christmas decoration, garden ornaments, solar lights ,greeting cards, home made jams and produce etc. Lovely little cafe to have breakfast or lunch.

Beautiful Christmas decorations. So many choices for gifts and amazing soaps. love the pets and aquatics.

Just another Squires, I come for the indoor plant range so cannot provide much information on the shrubs and bushes or what ever other people may seek. The indoor plant selection is varied and dependant on their deliveries. Sometimes you can catch a rare plant or two.

Loved the cafe cream tea was worth the money will go back again, and they sell the most varieties of composts and soil improvers so the choice was there. Love the different things especially the children's books and china

Cafe was crowded and noisy. We were asked to move to a table for 2 right by the coffee machine, which was in constant use. Staff and customers congregated round the table so it was difficult to talk. That said, the cakes were lovely, so if you come at a quiet time you might enjoy it motr

Easy to get to. Easy to park. They always have unusual products. Nice and spacious. A quick shopping experience and usually find what I want. Do look at the price tags.

Great cafe and wide range of garden and lifestyle items to browse and buy. Quiet and calm experience. Could improve by ensuring staff are more customer service-oriented with diversity training.

We have bought roses from squires, they are now 3 years old. Since they have been planted they have been delight. Roses are healthy, beautiful and colourful. Best quality as we had tried a few other garden centres too. Thanks squires

I visited Squires garden centre last weekend 8th of May and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The level of service and assistance I received from Al in the garden furniture department was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about all of their products and extremely helpful. Keep up the great work guys!

It is possible to find similar flowers elsewhere at lower prices, but not with the same level of service, selection and convenience. Costco and Lidl have better prices but a very limited selection. Squires is ideal when you require a particular type of plant or flower to fit into your overall vision of how you want your garden to look. Good quality, long-lasting, healthy flowers and sound advice from staff for novice gardeners like myself.

Very organised and friendly garden centre with wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Large range of garden/ outdoor products. The cafe is a bonus. I found their outdoor plants to be very reasonably priced but the indoor plants are very expensive yet not as fresh.
