Pearl Medical Practice

Medical center

😠 I am so annoyed with this GP practice. The receptionist always keep the phones off the hook, Ive once rang 100 times and still didnt get through. You will not get through in the mornings. It's a absolute joke. I've been experiencing this issue for almost 5 years. People often mention staff, practice, reception, Ajit, doctors, helpful, care, service, team, appointments,

They purposefully ignore our calls . I’ve been ringing for an hour without anyone answering . Worst gp ever . The receptionists are rude and don’t care . The doctors are unhelpful and will waste your time . I am considering leaving this GP soon

I have been with this practice for the past 5 years. The receptionist Ajit is very friendly and will try his best to help. It’s difficult to get an appointment immediately on the app. Dr. Mehta and the nurse have been treating my mom since she moved to the UK. She had high diabetes for the past 15 years but now under their supervision she has managed to get it under control. Would highly recommend this practice to my friends and family.

Just to want to say what an amazing Drs surgery. Best Drs , especially Dr Tahir and Dr Sheth who are absolutely brilliant and help me always. They accommodate me around my working hours. Barabara, the nurse is amazing. Best decision i have made to move to this Surgery. The reception staff are the most helpful and friendly people who try to accommodate my requests as much as possible especially the Gentleman. So Thank you to everyone at the Best Surgery.

I have been registered here for 40 years. It started from a good place and has improved steadily over the years. I can honestly say that I would have been dead 30 years ago without their help. In my twenties, I had a blood pressure of 190/119 and have required intervention continuously since then. In the late 90's, I had severe clinical depression and they helped me sympathetically and competently through that. Now I have type 2 diabetes and they have helped me to stabilize the condition. There is a team of strong, experienced doctors. I have consulted with all of them and they have all been effective, sympathetic and highly competent. The practice has excellent resident nursing staff and they have checked my bp, conducted diabetes checks and taken blood on numerous occasions. I am quite difficult to take blood from and often leave other clinics with more holes than a pin cushion but the nurses here almost always score a 'hole in one'. The administrative staff are incredibly organized, sympathetic and helpful. They are a real credit to the organization. On occasion, while waiting to see a doctor, I have observed the way they deal with a potentially difficult situation and learned lessons to apply in my own career. This practice must easily be in the top ten percent of all practices in the United Kingdom.

This is a third class health care service. Even after the covid restrictions gone, they still follow the policy of telephone consultation appointments only.. They've essentially exploited covid restrictions and made them their new policy of running the GP. Other GPs function normally and physically see their patients. Even when in need of urgent appointments in the morning, they still refuse to see you and first suggest you to get an over the phone consultation. Very poor services and wouldn't like to refer anyone.

Just want to say thank you to Ajit, Hina and the team in the reception for always meeting our needs and Dr Sheth for helping me through my urgent medical needs over the last few months when I was desperate and got ignored by another GP within the practice. And thank you to Barbara the nurse for always making me feel at ease during my visits or my family’s.

We joined this GP two years ago and we like the service and the staff in the reception especially Mr Patel. He always helps us get the service we need and he ensures we don't have any issues with getting appointments with doctors or medication for my daughter. We can not thank him enough.

Have been with this practice since 2008 and it is just amazing. The staff at the reception are very helpful and understanding specially Mr Ajit and the the other lady. They go out of their way to help you out. The staff at the reception deal with your query with empathy. The doctors are excellent and reassuring. Recently have been seeing Dr Seth for my daughter and myself. The best thing about the visit was that anything that the doctor thought was worrying she investigated it. At this practice have seen Dr Mehta, Dr Tahir and have never been disappointed. If the doctors see any red flags they investigate it. So happy to choose this practice. Thank you

I would like to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the exceptional personal and professional care provided by Dr. Mehta and her dedicated team at Pearl Medical Practice. Their commitment to patient well-being and willingness to go the extra mile have truly left a lasting impression on me and my family. Dr. Mehta's unwavering support and accessibility have been invaluable during times of need. She has consistently proven to be more than just a doctor but also a compassionate and understanding confidant. Her willingness to lend an ear and promptly assist patients, even beyond scheduled appointments, has made a significant difference in the lives of my father, mother, and grandmother. Knowing that she is always just a phone call away has given us tremendous peace of mind. Furthermore, I must acknowledge the exceptional staff at Pearl Medical Practice, particularly Mr. Ajit Patel, the Receptionist/Administrator. Mr. Patel's personable and friendly approach sets a welcoming tone from the moment one steps into the practice. His genuine care for patients is evident in his willingness to go out of his way to assist and provide guidance. His efforts have made each visit a pleasant and stress-free experience, and his warm demeanor has undoubtedly played a crucial role in fostering a positive atmosphere within the clinic. The entire team at Pearl Medical Practice deserves recognition for their dedication and professionalism. The level of care and attention extended to patients is commendable. From the moment we enter the clinic until the conclusion of our appointments, we have consistently received top-notch service. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Pearl Medical Practice to anyone seeking exceptional medical care. Dr. Mehta's personal involvement and her team's commitment to providing outstanding service make them stand out from the rest. The personalised care, coupled with the friendly and approachable nature of the staff, creates an environment that fosters trust, comfort, and overall well-being for patients.

Barbra and Adjit were exceptionally patient and caring. I liked their professionalism and they gave me good patient satisfaction. They should be encouraged to continue with the good work.

It's horrendous. The nurses at the reception are rude straight up your face, they don't even hide it anymore. And God forbid you try to talk with them silently about personal matters such you're health, because be prepared, the whole waiting room to hear it. Other than that, the rest of the nurses are rather lovely.

I went to the GP to seek help for my mom, she was in severe pain and we had already gone to urgent care, which referred us to the GP for further appointments. No one would listen or help. After being tossed around, we found Mr Ajit Patel from Pearl Medical Practice. He patiently listened to our situation and promptly helped. He helped her to get registered since she recently moved and helped her get an appointment at the earliest time available. I will forever be thankful for his kindness.

This medical centre is always working on same pattern. When you have fever and if you say to doctors it’s been for a 2 days they replied with it stays for at least a week. And when we say it’s been for a week doctor replies with it stays for 2 weeks. They don’t want to even prescribe antibiotics for my 4 year daughter who is suffering from high fever for a week now. Even when we went to A&E on weekend they suggest to go to GP and ask them to prescribe medicine if she is not well by Monday. Today we called GP and no medicine just an advise that it will stay for another week and also told us not to contact back until next Monday. Funny part is now a days doctors are so experts they can advise without even seeing a patient. Is this the service we deserve by our GP? No it’s a time to change GP.

Really caring practice that tries to squeeze you in an appointment where possible. It wasn't always this good, but the reception staff have changed over time and are now brilliant. I feel they are the real stars of the surgery, well done to Ajit and the team. That said Dr Tahir is also very good and very attentive, he doesn't just push for an easy solution.

I am a carer gor a patient who is registered at this amazing Surgery. It is such relief knowing someone is there to help . Starting with the reception staff who are always so pleasant and helpful even though they work under so much pressure. The Dr's are always available to help and are very caring. The nurse and other staff who do blood tests etc.. are so helpful. It's the best decision we have made to join this Surgery. So thank you everyone.

Very good GP, always trying to get them best for my children’s appointments. All the diagnoses and treatments were always correct. We are with them for the 5 years. Very nice and helpful reception staff. My son had a very strong virus+ staphylococcus infection which is very dangerous. We have spend 16 hours at the hospital in the emergency room and they didn’t helped him, but our home GP in this practice gave him correct treatment and understood what is happening from the first sign, even before test results came back - I don’t know how we would end without her help. I’m very thankful for all they work with out family.

The best GP Practice I have ever used. The receptionist staff are just brilliant, especially Ajit and Hina, nothing is ever to much for them. Always ready to help. Dr. Patel whom I first use to see was excellent and was always ready to listen to your concerns. After her retirement, I have seen other Doctors who have been just as good. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Rude receptionist! She booked me for Saturday for Health check, I went there GP is closed. I phoned the GP in advance to double check since according to the website, they don't work on weekends. The receptionist was quite defensive. Total waste of time!

I am very happy with the care and service offered by Dr Mehta and her team. At the reception there is Mr Ajit Patel who greets you with a smile and always helpful and willing to go that extra mile to sort out any issues for all the patients. Dr Mehta has been a God's send for me as l have several health issues . She is very caring and professional and genuinely listens to my problems. I am so fortunate to be with the Practice and I would strongly recommend my family and friends to join. Keep up the excellent work Dr Mehta 👏 👍 👏

Ajit who works on reception helped me a lot recetly. He saved me time and effort, that I would have otherwise needed to spend on completing and returning forms. Thank you so much Ajit!

It’s a ridiculously organised gp surgery as including Receptonists and doctors.. I had really bad experience since last 3-4 appointments as I have to re arrange it coz of their fault by booking with male doctors and it’s clearly mentioned on system I prefer to see female doctors only .. They are too busy to chat to each other rather than paying attention..some doctors are too rude as some receptionists are too … today I had an appointment n had to change again .. what a disorganised GP😡😡😡😡

Very bad experience they just keep postponing my appointment untill the problem become worst whats the point of going in gp if they treat us like these they dont have nurse or any one who can do a dressing also so they ask to come tomorrow then day after tomorrow and gies on. It seriously feels like it was far more better if one could haddle their problems by own rather than going in theis gp. Hope you get some staff and improve your service

👍👍 I cannot recommend heartily enough this surgery, I left my previous surgery of 20 years due to them going down hill. From the moment you enter, all staff are polite, helpful and listen to you.
