For me, this is the best art museum in all of Tuscany...and probably in all of Italy. One of my favorite museums actually. Whoever is curating their shows is the absolute best and should never stop. I went to a Warhol exhibit here, a Modigliani, a Dali, a Toulouse-Lautrec, a Keith Haring... they're all just so thorough with loads of works from the featured artist. So many times in Florence, especially at Palazzo Strozzi, you go to see the works of a big name, and there are only a handful. It's pretty disappointing. But I've always been extremely pleased in Pisa and make a trip to see the new exhibition they have, which is always the theme of Pisa's December marathon for that year. I love it!

Lovely collection of well presentation porcelain, interior furniture and lighting fixtures which transport you back in time. There is currently a great photography exhibition on which captures Pisa over the ages and it is definitely worth a visit.

Palazzo Blu is a great exeperience while in Pisa. There is a permanent exhibition where you will find a lot works of art and furnishings. When I visited, it was a temporary exhibition with beautiful art of Keith Haring. You can find on their website what is new.

A very interesting exhibition that makes you think. Beautiful photos are definitely worth seeing. Parts of the exhibition are found in the ocean plastic bottles, containers that still look the same after 40/50 years. The entire exhibition prompts you to think about what impact we as a human have on the environment and how much we still don’t know.

Palazzo Blu is a great place to escape the crowds and/or the heat in Pisa. It isn't too expensive to visit both its permanent exhibition (containing archaeological items and mostly classical art) and its temporary exhibition (which in the past has featured specific art movements like Fururism, and natural exhibitions such as those featuring oceans).

Fantastic exhibition of 20th century avant garde paintings and sculptures, including Duchamp, Picasso, Matisse, Leger, Mondrian et al. Very well set up. I have a cane and the staff made a point of making sure I could find the elevator

Massive disappointment, the archeological exhibit was pretty weak, and the rest of the tour similar. Highlights were the coin collection and leaving

Nice stop on a hot day. Entry is very cheap, €3 full price. I wasn’t entirely interested in the art they had in currently but that’s not on them, just not my thing.

Visited the planet earth exhibit. Half animal pictures, half landscape. Most the animals were photographed in cages and the photo info was severely lacking. Though, if it's hot out and you already saw the tower area, 6€ can get you shade

We loved visiting Palazzo Blu. Very cheap admission and you get to see so much of the history of the palace as well as Pisa itself.

So we'll worth the visit. Insight into Italian history i didn't know I wanted to know. From rise of fascism to beautiful stately rooms. Don't forget to look up. Ceilings are pretty ace.

Interesting museum to visit whilst in Pisa. Showcasing old ceramics, religious iconography, a history of facism and an remake of the old palace apartments. Cost 6 EUR each to enter (can pay by card) so no need to pre-book. Outside, the building a beautiful shade of Blue that stands out as you look over the Arno.

When you are in Pisa, this place is worth visiting. There are many works of art worth admiring, and the palace is well maintained.

Interesting old art works of Pisa, not presented in a particularly innovative way but good place to roam for an hour, particularly on a rainy day. I would have expected a more interesting contemporary collections

An excellent and engaging visit to Palazzo Blu, the venue was majestic and staff very warm and helpful. The whole family enjoyed the National Geographic Ocean exhibit, especially the archaeo-plastica exhibits; plastic containers preserved for over 50 years in the sea, practically unscathed, after only a moment of intentional human use.

Such a great museum for those who love antique coins and beautiful interiors. You can see coins dated 540 BC - mind-blowing! Thank you for not sending people in a different building to get a ticket or create other inconveniences for customers like many other attractions in Italy do. Easily the best thing you can spend 3 euro for.

Palazzo blue is an interesting museum to visit if you like history. Although it is not something fascinating. If you have some spare time, visit. The building is very beautiful.

A beautiful Palace well restored With frescoes on the ceilings, showing the times of the famous past of the house. Also, an interesting photo gallery from National Geographic project about the oceans and their magnificent beauty

They are doing an amazing work at bringing international art to the small city of Pisa. Each year they have a huge exhibit gathering work of important artists from all around the world. When I visited it was a Keith Haring exhibit which must not be missed if around. The local community is so lucky to have this museum and its work!

Went to see an exhibition of Keith Haring. Would have been better off staying at home. The exhibition itself seemed interesting, well at least what I could see. The place was unhygenically packed...no distancing whatsoever and no limit to how many people were in a room. As well as being very much against covid regulations, I was only able to see a fraction of the works exhibited.

Went to see the Keith Haring exposition, definitely something interesting to see and standing in nice contrast to renaissance art you traditionally see in museums in Toscany.
