We stopped for lunch mid week, only about a dozen patrons inside. Mostly sitting at the bar playing with phones. It is kept dark, lit mostly by neon and TVs. Rather loud. heavy on the base recorded music kept our conversation private. A pool table looked inviting but was too busy for us to give it a try. Good variety on the menu, we settled on the fish (large filet) and Irish stew. The stew was served in a bread bowl and was mostly meat, the promised carrots and onion must have escaped the scooper. But the meat! Strong tasty seasoning and so tender. I loved it, the bread bowl was delicious, but I did miss the vegetables.

Delicious food! Loved the whole place. Highly recommend this spot which we found by accident but it will now be a destination.

A friend and I went for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. The service was very good and the food was fantastic. We had the fish dip, Reubens sandwich and blackened fish and parmesan fries. Everything was delicious! We will definitely go back.

I think they have a band on Saturdays. The one on May 14th was pretty good…. The servers are all nice, they have a juke box, darts and pool table. It’s a nice atmosphere, everybody is pretty friendly. The food is fresh, we had Bruschetta and Hummus… Both delish and fresh ingredients… I recommend for a close to home place to grab something to eat and drink…

An unexpected find while we were visiting Plant City. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with the apple coleslaw. I can tell you that the apple coleslaw was the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. And the Caesar wrap was delicious. My husband said the shepherds pie was excellent, though, not as good as what he makes (nothing ever is, lol). Service was excellent. We will be back!

This is a nice local pub that puts on bands weekly. We really enjoy seeing the bands play and the music is good!

Food was ok. Atmosphere was ok too but I was kind of disappointed when they decided we needed to stop drinking because of a single comment from someone in the group. We had a DD for the night so in all honesty we could have drank till we were black out drunk and been acceptable. Smh..

Nice bar. Went here on Friday and they had live music playing. The pretzels and beer cheese was good. Our server Nicolette was awesome. Working like crazy but was able to answer every question I had on the food. Definitely would go here again.

Came in for the first time tonight with a few friends and everything was great. Tasty food and the strawberry margaritas were delicious. Great service from Emily and Taylor, they were awesome! Will definitely be back.

It was my first time here and it was such an amazing experience. The food was way better than I expected and the service was amazing. Emily and Taylor were so accommodating and made me feel like a regular. I will come back for them and to try some more food. Thanks girls!

The servers were amazing!! Great atmosphere! Great drinks! And great food! Idk if it's because we came on ladies night or what but we are from out of state and this place was busy and the live music was amazing! I didn't want to eat but my husband made me order a pretzel to try and I ended up eating almost the whole thing myself! Every drink I ordered was amazing! Especially the blue cheese Martini ❤️❤️

Everything we had to eat was delicious and proper.. the wings, Reuben, parmesan fries, even the side salad was way better quality than any of the chain restaurants around here. Service was pleasant and fast. Only sorry we waited so long to try this place. Can’t wait to come back!

Me and my fiancé were from out of town and stopped by to try a new place. The food and drinks I can say it was great! Would definitely come back again!

Very unprofessional if you're not a local then they're going to treat you very poorly the owner does not have an license/ID scanner so if you're out of town and he's just not going to serve you no matter the validation security was slightly understanding but gave no actual assistance should invest in an ID scanner to avoid further problems owner definitely was not worth talking to and disrespectful and I hate to say it but my friends and I had a bit more color and everyone else there did lack in that

Menu offers a good selection and everything we've had has been tasty. The Cuban is enough to share. Flat breads are delicious and a popular option. Cheese sticks and pretzels are family favorites. Sometimes the live music is a little loud, which makes it difficult to have a conversation, but at least the bands we've heard so far are good!

Our server Nicki was great and so was the food. Usually we get the rueben because it's really good. The Cuban was excellent too. Very good quality ingredients.

Very fun place! Food is what you would expect from a pub. Juke box is fun to play songs you like. Staff didn't mind that we sang loudly (wedding party). Service was very slow but we didn't mind because of the occasion.

Respectfully, but I DON'T drink NO kind AND ANY kind of alcoholic beverages NO more since 2013 for the 2nd time in my 59 years of my life because I QUIT COLD TURKEY!!! I thank GOD ALMIGHTY for it, too!! My youngest son has been working at 1916 Irish Pub in Plant City, Florida for a few months now. I'm SO proud of my youngest son, too. I've ALWAYS been proud of BOTH of my sons from the time that I was there at TGH when they were BOTH born there.

This used to be one of my best bars to go chill and have drinks, was going there 2-3 times a week, as soon as my daughter and i sat down, the owners son and a couple of bartenders knew what we were going to eat and drink, was a regular, until they tried to screw me over and add more drinks than what i had drank... And the manager handled the situation very unprofessional!! Of the years i had been going this manager was never friendly, always had a mean look... not sure if he is manager material!!!

Stopped here on the way home off I4 and the bar tender was great. She helped me pick something great to eat and was amazing at service. Very happy with my experience here. Looking forward to going again.

Excellent pub food and an extensive craft beer selection. I strongly suggest the Irish stew in a bread bowl or the Irish nachos. It comes out perfect and steamy. The Reuben is piled high with meat and kraut and the corned beef sandwich has the perfect combo of meat, cheese and horse radish. This is a great place to hang out and kick back after a long day, or to grab a lunch that will have you napping afterwards! I would share a photo of the sandwiches, but I always start chowing down before I remember to take a pic.

Big menu and good beers. Service is friendly. Maybe change up the music if you want the Irish pub feel

We visited 1916 Irish Pub for the first time Friday night to listen to S.G. Wood play. The service was great. The prices were a little high but thats fair these days as restaurant owners try to cover the ever increasing cost of food, labor and supplies. So no marks off for trying to stay in business. I had the Irish stew sandwich. It was really good and the portions were huge. We'd go back for sure especially if SG Wood is on the stage. 😎
