If you are looking for a good doctor in the plant city area or nearby then you should know that Dr.Gimness is the best and most caring doctor that i have ever met. I love my doctor and can actually say that he has made me stop dreading doctor's appointments. Dr. Gimness works really hard to get to know and care for all of his patients.The office staff is also very good at getting you in and out. Sometimes it takes a little while to get an appointment but it is very much worth the wait. Surely with the new nurse practitioner will be available for any healthcare needs meanwhile. If you are planning to come in as a new patient and have to wait a month to see the doctor just know it IS worth the wait. It's also nice to know that any issues are very quickly resolved and given the right attention.

Beware of Dr. Gimness and his staff! He is a modern day scam doctor who will diagnose you with diseases that you never knew you had and order expensive lab tests that your insurance will not pay for so you will be ending up paying an outrageously $$$ lab bill out of your own pocket! He is a pill pusher and I have had pharmacists tell me they won’t fill pain medication prescriptions signed by him. He has hired nurse practitioners and other assistants to do all his work while he is away on vacation for weeks and months at a time!! You will barely get to be seen by him. His office manager Stephanie is also very rude and deceptive. At one point, there was a rumor going around that she was in a relationship with Dr. Gimness soon after his wife passed away. Do not be deceived by this conartist and his staff who are witches. He earned his reputation!! People know who he really is behind that supposedly squeaky clean look. Such a shame! I will never step foot in that office again!!!

I've been going to Dr. Gimness for 8 years now and I am extremely happy with the service and attention and care I get. It is indeed rare to see a Dr take so much time with his patient and get to know you as a person, family etc. What I love about his office is that the staff have also been so long there- that I dont even have to give my name anymore- they even know my prescriptions! Honestly the best doctor I have ever met. Before I started seeing Dr gimness I went to approximately 15 doctors . No other doctor took the time to really figure out what was causing all my medical issues. I waited a few months for a new patient appointment but I am really glad I did. It's been two years and I'm appreciative for his care, warmth and sincerity. Also his staff are the best. Always cheerful and professional.

Dr. G, as we affectionately call him, has done so much for our family in the last ten years and our issues have been severe. He never gave up on us either. He is only our second PCP in 30 years and we love him dearly. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate....he has definitely seen us at our worst! My husband and I, as well as our son and grandson, drive an hour to see him because he IS worth it! Trust is important and we trust him completely. We also love his staff...they take very good care of us.

My husband and I have been doing Dr G for almost 6 years now. He is very thorough, caring, takes time to listen and address all your concerns. My son has been seeing him for 3 years now and will not see any other doctor. My daughter that lives in West Palm Beach is also seeing doctor Gimness. She does telemedicine consult and when necessary comes to visit and sees him in office. His staff is great. What he does in his private life is none of my business. I am there to get great medical attention and that is what I receive from Dr Gimness. Thank you to him and his staff for taking care of my families medical needs .

He's very thorough. He is the closest to Dr. House, from the TV show, that you can get. I mean that in the most sincere way. He can figure it out. A brilliant mind. Very thankful for Dr. Gimness and staff. He is the real deal.

Been seeing Dr Gimness sense January 2016 he’s been the only Dr to get my thyroid issues under control. Staff is always friendly. If I can’t ever get a appointment with him I will see his Nurse practitioner Jennifer she is very caring and willing to help you in anyway.

When meeting with Dr. G he is very thorough. However 90% of my visits are with assistants. Recently disappointed that upon checking in for an appointment I was told I had missed an appointment 8 months ago and was being assessed a $50 “no show” penalty and since I had misplaced my wallet and couldn’t pay I would have to reschedule my appointment AFTER I paid the penalty. I was there for a weight loss consultation and a handicap permit application which I was originally told would require TWO SEPARATE appointments. All about milking the system I guess. Loved Dr. G when I got to see him. Upfront Office staff needs customer service training.

Dr. Gimness is an extremely thorough and caring physician, I trust him completely with my whole family. He’s also a ray of sunshine!

These people care! They went over and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. Caring doctors and staff, clean rooms and waiting area. If you are looking for a new family doctor come here you won't be disappointed. Thanks again to the entire staff
