The reception was very easy and informative. The workers have all been very nice and respectful. The facilities are clean. Our room is always cleaned and fully stocked. The resort is very eco friendly . You feel like u are in the jungle. The water park is a blast for my kids. Felix end all the staff have a great service The only negative is that we have to set up a reservation for a restaurant 4 days in advance. We were not able to eat dinner at that restaurant. Overall this has been a great visit and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful location, stunning facilities and great food. It’s the perfect get away and so lovely to wake up to the sounds of the jungle. We’ve loved our stay and spotted so many adorable jungle creatures while we’ve been here. The Brazilian Rodizio is the best place for breakfast, right beside the pool, lovely music, and has the best tacos on location. The next best spot is the beach and club house which has a library, snacks, cabanas, and drinks which help so much when planning for all day on the beach. Everyone is super friendly and it’s just been the perfect get away, would highly highly recommend.

So far our trip has been amazing! There were many bad reviews that scared us but we have been treated with amazing Flora and wonderful service. The food will keep you fed but nothing to write home about but overall the people have been so accommodating. The water park has been so much fun and pools perfect for kids. River cruise with David was such a nice one! The Mexican magic town on Sundays was magical!

This resort was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. Lu was very helpful with organizing our first trip here and making sure we made the most of it! The rooms were big and comfortable. The water park was super fun for kids and adults. The buffet was not my favourite but the restaurants were all good. The Japanese restaurant was fun to watch them preform and cook! The restaurant Lirios was great at night for the dinner but the breakfast lunch there were my favourite. The staff was so great and made us feel at home. Isidro and Reyes we’re our servers most of the time and we’re super personable and made sure we were comfortable.The rest of the morning staff Dalila, Grey, Fanny, Daniel and Manuel were also super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Recently I stayed 7 days at this Sandos resort and had such a great stay! Rooms are spacious, resort is huge so lots of walking which I was happy about lots to see and do. Right off the beach you can see Cozumel island. The resort is very clean the staff works quite diligently to keep it just so. All the buffet food was delicious, lots to choose from to eat. Found it all quite tasty. I have to say I really enjoyed the coffee that they serve. Found the restaurants spotted throughout the resort to be just as satisfying. My favorite was the Japanese style restaurant, also there’s this little taco stand close to the rotunda to be quite nice. They put a lot of work into the shows they put on lots of fun to attend. They had a Disney style show for the kids at some point. Of course we had the most fun at the swim up bars. I Tried so many drinks the bar tenders work insanely hard and I have to say hats off to them keeping up to us guests. The pools are clean as are surrounding areas are well maintained. It’s also nice to go take a dip in the ocean once in awhile. Suggest wearing water shoes, they have a generous roped off swimming area but there are rocks and coral are there it’s the ocean after all. Lots of vender’s running around the resort offering braids to selling massages. No pressure sales which is nice I found them to be quite respectful if you said no. Lots more to mention that said I didn’t get to see and do everything this trip. I’ll have to come back to fit the rest in. Thank you Sandos my family and I had a blast! Took care of all our needs and our trip was a joy. Your staff are all wonderful people. Looking forward to the next stay, I honestly have no complaints. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely amazing vacation for a family of five. (73f, 49f, 48m, 16m, 13m) We read all of the bad reviews before and were worried, but we’re happy to say that the resort exceeded our expectations. The food is awesome, (especially at the restaurants), we loved all of the festivities for New Year’s, (so many different shows and fun events like the market) and the jungle is absolutely beautiful. Do not miss out on the Mayan village in resort. A monkey swung down and landed right beside us. Just a metre away! The hospitality is also fantastic. Thank you so much Sandos team! We will definitely be back.

Great place to Vacation for a buget!! Everything is on site and staff are amazing 👏. I would like to give a big thank you to the KIDS CLUB!!! They were amazing and did so many great activities. Despite the language difference, my child felt welcome and wanted to return everyday to participate in the daily functions! Overall our experience was 10 out of 10. Food is a little tasteless sometimes they could improve on. Just some honest feed back 😉

The kids absolutely loved the water park, they enjoyed both of the slides and the food was surprisingly good. They only served hot dogs and burgers but again surprisingly good. Also the staff were friendly and kept an eye on the kids doing inappropriate things. It was a very safe environment with many kids running around and no parents constantly chasing after them.

Spent 6 days. Loved the room, quality appointments and conveniences (charging access, personal lighting, towel drying rack. Good sized buffet with variety. Enjoyed the Michael Jackson tribute show. Kids swam in the cenote, played in the Kids Club and did the Animal Keepers activity. The kids (6 and 9) *loved* the resort. Our experience of the service was outstanding....we had a complication or two which were handled with professionalism and compassion. We have added this resort to our short list!

One of the worst resorts we have been too. They opening lie about the beach. It is apocalyptic. Unless you spend a lot to upgrade your room, you will be disappointed. The food is pretty bad almost everywhere. There are some cool aspects about this resort, but there are much better choices nearby that actually have nice beaches, clean pools and excellent food.

This is our new favorite resort, it's simply beautiful! Side note... the best food in the entire resort is in the Fogo De Brazil restaurant.... try it, you will Not be disappointed. The food is phenomenal, the staff is amazing, and the desserts.... the best

Just had a wonderful meal at the Gala Night. Great food and service! The setting is perfect, the live music was fantastic and the staff have been incredibly attentive, especially with our children. The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion! Sadly the food included in the all inclusive generally has been severely lacking, however this meal, that was paid for over and above the all inclusive package, was very nice and 10/10.

We had a wedding on May 3,2023 at 5 and the wedding team was Spectacular! The head coordinator was Lu She was awesome and SO SWEET. She was training a young gentleman who was THE BEST EVER!! He was on top of everything he was fun and all around made my wedding experience that much better! All of my wedding guest kept coming up to me and kept complementing how awesome he was which made us feel so good to know our favorite people we’re getting taken care of! 10 out if 10 stars for the wedding team they made my wedding even more beautiful then I ever pictured!!!! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR MAKING MY VISION COME TO LIFE!

Royal Elite at Sandos Caracol is unbelievable! From the moment we got expedited check in at the Royal Elite welcome area to our time at the private Royal Elite pools and beach, our experience has been amazing! Many thanks to Isaac in Royal Elite concierge who was a huge help to us when making all our dinner reservations. Isaac was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable and let us know about all of the great benefits that come with Royal Elite. He guided us to all the outstanding restaurants and dining experiences . The breakfasts at Los Lirios are a family favorite!! We can't wait to come back.

Sandos has the best atmosphere of any resort we've been to. This is part thanks to the natural habitat from monkeys to peacocks on site, but mainly thanks to the personal concierge service provided. As soon as we checked in we had a member of the staff help us with our luggage and showing us where a restaurant was to eat at 9:30 pm. Our concierge was Jose and he helped us arrange all activities, dinner reservations and even a wonderful surprise on our last night. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and didn't expect anything, but were surprisingly welcomed with champagne and chocolates. Jose helped us quickly rearrange plans when weather led to cancellations throughout the week. Jose was so thoughtful in everything he coordinated for us and it made the week more memorable than we could have asked for. This extra touch made Sandos an experience above what we hoped for and we will remember it for a long time to come!

Definitely a great overall experience and I’d recommend to any family size. The family suite was perfectly sized for our large family of 2 Adults and 5 kids. The grounds were enchanting, and it was very clear that keeping the natural landscape was important in the design and layout of the property. My kids loved experiencing close encounters with the wild animals and environment, at the same time being able to enjoy extracurricular activities, fine dining, and Mexican cultural activities. Everyone was kind, responsive, and helpful. Josue, and his staff at the Royal Elite pool, and Los Lidios Restaurant were absolutely awesome. They catered to my children’s fussy dietary needs, and put together a great birthday dinner for my wife on short notice. Also appreciated the attention we received from the manager Joel, and concierge Juan, when our plans needed to be altered. Loved this place.

I had my wedding at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort! My experience was amazing from start to finish! Edith was my wedding coordinator and was very quick to respond during the planning phase. She made sure all my questions were answered and the wedding was exactly how we wanted it. The day of the wedding, Margot at the spa did my hair and makeup. She very very friendly and extremely funny. I love what she did with my makeup and my hair style was perfect! Better than the pictures I gave as a reference. This was not our first trip to this resort, and it will definitely not be the last!

Would totally recommend this resort. So many activities and fun things to all at the resort! The staff is so friendly and super helpful. Especially Jose with concierge was extremely great. He helped us out with everything we needed all this week. It was great seeing him all week. We will definitely be back!!

Sandos Resort is a beautiful place to stay if you want to enjoy great food, great drinks and want to have activities galore! The water park is amazing Felix, Viviana and Diego are great! They are making sure the water slides go smooth and have been very helpful!! all the nature around the resort makes it even better! Will stay here again! Our family vacation has been amazing so far!

The resort is beautiful and the staff is SUPER helpful, Viviana and Marco especially we’re super friendly and sweet and made the experience at the resort even better. The attractions are amazing and there are tons of things to do. We loved snorkeling in the Cenote and the pools were a blast. While the food was not the best, there were definitely some hits at the Japanese, Brazilian, and Mediterranean restaurants. Overall though, the service was great and it was a very fun trip! :)

Fairly expansive resort with lots of options for kids to old folks. The beach is not great for swimming, but the resort is not too far from better locations. The cafeteria Laaguna has lots of food options but it is just a cafeteria. There are good food options at several restaurants but make reservations days in advance. Service by staff through this very good.

The resort is fresher because of all the nature inside, which is a plus. There are lots of weddings which can get a bit loud if your room is near it. The service and the personal are very consistent and friendly, a shout out to Minerva and Grey for being so welcoming and attentive to our baby and our family.

Gabriela is amazing! We miss having her at the adults only restaurant, but found her at Mascaras. She always has a smile on her face and is very attentive. We look forward to seeing her every year.

Great resort, thoroughly enjoyed every aspect! The eco resort had beautiful protected nature throughout as well as a gorgeous beach on the ocean. Some rocks at beachside, water shoes suggested. Lovely clean, clear water. Well kept resort in every way. Great friendly staff. Not one negative thing to say

Perfect place for our honeymoon. We have been waited on hand and foot and made to feel like a King and Queen. The resort is breathtaking and while there are many excursions to do outside the resort, you could spend weeks inside the resort without needing to set foot outside. Absolutely 10/10 resort! Special mention to Andres, Sophie, Carla and Delia at Chill & Grill were amazing! Such a special night made a breeze by the great folk working :)

Great place to stay. Everything is included for the price. Staff is friendly and willing to make your staff exceptional. Every dining experience has been amazing. There are so many activities on the resort as well as off the resort. I highly recommend staying here. Everything you could want is a conversation or a call away. My wife and I got engaged on the myan canoe ride 3 years ago and came back for our honeymoon.

Great service. My dad asked for a nopal juice Sofia informed us that they did not make the juice but later on, they told him that they could make it for the next day. And they did and it was really thoughtful because it shows how far they go to make customers happy. Rooms are a little older, but are very nice. The staff seems to be happy with their jobs. The drinks are OK. The main attraction is the service you get with the staff. Make sure you tip them even a dollar goes along way.

This resort basically doesn’t have beach and this must be clearly stated in all their ads - the beach is just rocks and a lot of seaweed caused by those rocks. Initially we thought that seaweed was a general issue for the whole coast until we visited neighboring resorts - the beaches were fine there. We came with kids and beach was #1 purpose of our trip - not food, pools or other activities, all of that we can get in Illinois… except warm, clean sea.

Giving 5 stars for the staff! My Los Liros Restaurant friends were there for our royal elite stay every day for breakfast and lunch. They are so friendly, quick and personable. Our one bedroom was great with two bathrooms, awesome cleaning staff that even placed my kids turtles in cute places all over the room. The buffet was decent, the Japanese was amazing and the royal elite benefits are so worth it. The theater is a great bonus for night entertainment and the bar staff everywhere are so nice and accommodating. The only trouble I had was with the sales presentation for the royal elite club. Buyer beware that the package we rented from an existing member is not what is sold now, so when we bought our timeshare days, it didn't include our inclusive fees for our kids. It wasn't clarified to us so it'll be more money than our current trip next time we go. Unfortunately for the sales team, but if they'd fix this, there would be much more enrollment and recommendations, never mind sending my clients and friends too. We loved it there and would go back of course but when we can afford the extra 🤦🏼‍♀️

We just finished a week at Sandos Caracol. We really enjoyed everything they had to offer. Cesar at reception hooked us up with a great room close to the water park for the kids. A special thank you to our personal concierge Jose! He took care of everything we needed for the whole week. We’d never had a personal concierge before and we really appreciated all the care he gave to us. All of the staff from the time we got there until we left were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great family holiday!

I think that this place is great, there are areas for sightseeing, observing animals etc. Anyways after the sights the food is great. The burger shack by the water park has great food, the buffets have a large selection of food and it tastes awesome. But the only bad thing I can name was the long wait while we were getting the room. Felix and all the staff were helpful and made sure that everyone was safe and enjoying themselves

Sandos Resort is the best! Sálvia was the best restaurant we visited. My husband and I came here on for dinner. The service was the best service we have ever had. The chef was attentive and the waiters were wonderful. The chef was one of the nicest people we have ever met. The food was amazing. I wanted to cry because they made the night!

The resort is spread out in what you would call a jungle, which gives this place neat atmosphere with tons of wild life. And it feels secluded because of the winding sidewalks. Our second story room had a private view, you could see a pool but not a direct view, and low noise. Plan to walk a lot, but it's a good thing. Drinks are good, get to know one of the bartenders! Food at the buffet is adequate, but the few on site special restaurants the food is great! A good place for a family. They do have a couple of adult only areas that are nice and quiet. Room service had great food and better than the buffet. Overall really good.
