Considering Cuba are struggling and rely heavily on tourism you would think some staff would learn the basics of another language. I attempted to order two pizzas from this place which took 15 minutes as a walk in. As I waited I decided some salad would be good. None of the 9 people running around new what salad was despite me showing them pictures. To top it all when the pizzas arrived to go they were in plastic bags? I asked what was going on and was told. . .. sorry we have no boxes!!! This place is a joke. Spend less time talking amongst yourselves and serve customers!!! Would never revisit and would not recommend.

I loved this restaurant with rooftop in Havana. For seven days stay there we was every day for lunch or dinner at El Chanchullero. We tried almost everything from the menu and 90% was delicious and fresh. I recommend it 100 %.

Best restaurant design and decoration in all of Habana! Amazing art throughout the space, amazing layout, and the award winning best drink in Cuba was their Guava frozen juice… it’s fantastic! My one suggestion to them is to turn the music down a bit so conversations can be had easier and leave the pizza in the oven for a few more mins.

I had a great first trip here. My lobster was great, my friend’s fish was delicious. I was so excited about the restaurant that I brought my boyfriend when he came to visit this weekend. OMG. Not the same restaurant at all. Service was slow and disjointed. After ordering - I am convinced we got someone else’s food they passed to us. The shrimp was cold, but the avocados and fruit were hot. To top it off somehow the main arrived before any drinks arrived. I took 2 bites - was horrified - and left as I was concerned we would get food poisoning. So so so disappointed in the second visit. Most expensive 2 bites I have ever had in Cuba.

Prepare to have a drink while you wait for a seat if you go during peak meal times. Well, we did return and the quality of the food has dropped considerably. Very stringy, chewy chicken Ropa Vieja, and gristle filled flavorless beef in Picadillo. It's still hip with great drinks and good appetizers but save your pesos for a full meal at O'Reillys 304, El Del Frente or Dona Eutimia.

You will have also fresh salad (that if you visit cuba is not that common in restaurants). Mojitos and all the cocktails are very good and much cheaper than other famous spot (boteguida del medio for example). The location is very nice and in front of it in the square you can also use wifi.

Fantastic daiquiris - easily the best I've had in Cuba - I had 5 over 2 days and they were excellent each time, and cheap at $2.75. The pollo fricase was good too, as was the espresso. No English menu and little spoken English which made ordering tricky.
