Aqualand was the reason we had chosen to stay in Akvalend Hotel. We were happy we did this. It’s a pleasent place to spend 1-2 days with kids. Not crowded, clean, not so many slides or attractions but enough to have lots of fun and find something good for every age. Better food and drinks than in aqua parks in general. Would definately recomand it, if traveling with kids/teens and have time to spend one day in a water fun manner. 10 different attractions for a full day at an entry price of 25 leva / person (10 leva/person if you stay in the hotel).

To debunk some negative reviews. They are nice to foreigners. Its as clean as you would like it to be. If they can speak english. They will at least try. The food is good for the price. The staff is nice. We had a little accident and the lady at the medical station helped us wonderfully. The price is a little much but you can enjoy a full day there.

A very fun water park with not a lot of people. Reasonably priced and good for kids of all ages. The food is not the best: overpriced and kind of meh, but the drinks are fine. For only having probably 10 slides, there's a really wide variety: a half-pipe, a flush bowl, a rocket drop thing, several tube rides, a wave pool, and a kiddy land.

Good place with varied and cool water facilities. Food is not allowed to bring to the place, but food, drinks and ice cream are sold. Unfortunately the management team was not nice to the customers in the entrance, very rude and disrespectful and it's a shame.

If you are concerned with safety and have high standards, don’t come here. Life guards are smoking on top of slides, half not watching when kids are safely out and when the next person gets on. Had to wait 20 mins for inflatable doughnuts, people to those are like 3:1 ratio, some are missing handles. The flooring is dated, chipped and unclean. Definitely, don’t buy the Thai ice-cream which for 8 levs offers a 1lev McDonalds style icecream and ONE strawberry instead of lots of fruit and milk alone. Big disappointment overall which is a shame because the rides themselves are fun.

Very enjoyable water park, we were there several times already, the prices of the entrance are pretty low 20 BGN (10 Euro) per person. If you arrive in the morning, at 9:30-10:30, you will pay only 12 BGN (6 Euro). The food inside is also very tasty and not expensive. The kids love this place a lot as there are a variety of slides and attractions.

It was my first time at such a place, it was very fun for me. I tried 3 regular slides and the snake. The queue was fast. The food wasn't good as main choices were fries and meat, pizza and sandwiches, only junk food. Despite that we had great time. It is nice that you can go with your car, they have parking, but the tickets are kinda expensive.

I liked it. The queues were very short for an aqua park and there were a fair amount of slides to check out. The staff were pretty lousy and looked at their phones a lot but they weren't as rude as some other reviews say. The only issues with the place would be the price of the food items in the store and that the faster slides would hurt your back most of the time.

Aqualand in Plovdiv is just amazing. It is the cheapest aqua park in Bulgaria and it provides a big variety of water glides. It is located inside the city in region Trakhia and you have easy access and lots of parking places. The most important attraction of this place is the water glide combra. It has glides for very young kids, swimming pools, restaurant and you can find Thai ice cream. A place for families where everyone can have fun.

Entrance is expensive and they want you to pay extra for a sunbed. The food is not great and also expensive. Water slides are not very safe, because they are not smooth. My daughter hurt her spine and my husband has his elbow to blood.

Nice, open and clean city waterpark. Offers free and paid sun beds, good amount of slides and no ques mid week. Only the cobra slide had a little que, 5-10min wait. No lockers for bags, so pack light. Pool bar offers drinks and food. I saw few people commenting on bird poos ect. You do understand it is an open water park and a pair of sliders is strongly adviced? We had great time there and will be comming back.

Overly expensive food about 5 times a normal price, but it is fun. Going there earlier is cheaper than the regular price , however some of the facilities open at a later point.

We came at the high season and were pleasantly surprised, Hardly any wait at the slides, and a good variety of those. The crew are super nice and the cafeteria exceeded my expectations 5 stars

Food is limited to junk food and expensive, but it is expected at places like this. The slides are interesting, and various - everybody can find something interesting and there is no similar park in this part of the country. The place gets very crowded in the afternoon. Sunbeds are paid for (3bgn) and the very base plastic model, pretty uncomfortable. No comfort mats are offered. A big fluffy towel is a good idea.

Nice slides and in Friday afternoon not too crowded. Entrance was quite expensive (35 BGN)

The. Best. Place! Bring your kids here. Even better, come without the kids. So much fun, so many slides and pools to try. Kids under 110cm go in free. For anyone else it's 20lv before 10am or 25lv after (season 2022). We went early June and it was quiet and empty. Points to remember - the small elephant slide will burn kids so don't use. The triple slide is great for short swimwear (like girls wear) but not long short as some guys wear (not really sliding but getting stuck). Slides don't open until a bit later in the day. Some sun loungers are free, others are paid (3lv for the day).

Fun place to spend a hot day. The food is affordable and the meals are big enough. It's great place for kids as well.

Very nice water park for a day visit, though not too big. 6-15 year old kids were very happy

What a place... a child's wonderland of water rides. But why no comfort mats for hire for the loungers which were very uncomfortable. Food there was expensive.

Water slides are good. But the staff seems unfriendly and even racist. The aqua park was about to close at 5:30 pm, we were next to the changing rooms (it’s close to the exit). And one staff member came to us and started shouting, speaking rudely by saying that we must exit now, despite there were other locals still inside. If saying politely, we’d definitely understand. So this was the last time I visited it, not gonna recommend this place if you’re a foreigner or simply not White.

Great variety of slides as attractions, suitable for every taste and adrenaline speaker. Very spacious and well organized, only missing lockers in the dressing rooms. Great for kids of any age and family time.

Most of the staff except the bar maids and one of the life guards were quite rude and couldn't be bothered to help at any point. Extremely overpriced! The entry fee is as much as a day's wages in Bulgaria and doesn't include sunbed, the parasols are bolted into the ground and cannot be adjusted as the sun moves so make sure you dive in sunscreen before noon. Don't get your hopes high if you go there.

It's at best an OK aqua park. Compared to the other aquaparks in Bulgaria this one is underwhelming. There is a pigeon infestation so a lot of bird poop and feathers in pools. The rides weren't as fun as the ones in other aquaparks. For kids its great though.
