We paid quite a lot especially for the activities for children, which did not exist. only after we argued with them, they brought an educator who did an hour of activities with the children. at the restaurant, the children could not do anything because there were organized groups staying and they were disturbing them. absolutely nothing of what they promised was organized. it wasn't very clean, we didn't even have water in the room, except on the first day. the parking is paid, although it is in the middle of a country road, unguarded, without cameras, without barriers. We will definitely not return and I will not recommend this location. expensive for nothing

This is a nice place suffering from a severe lack of management. I saw here some of the worst services compared to similar places in Romania. We spent a couple of days with the kids in the resort. All of us - both my family and our friends, along with the kids, we got food poisoning upon our return to Bucharest and that was the only place we ate. At some point, there even was a rat on the restaurant's terrace... The day after, a mouse trap appeared not so discretely near the restaurant's entrance... The restaurant had unskilled staff (but friendly, indeed), who were bringing the food in unacceptably long times. There were also many junior staff who didn't know the ingredients in the drinks, and they were making the simplest cocktails by literally looking in a manual. Inside the spa, the water inside the big pool was ice cold during our first day there and it couldn't be used. The outside pools are very small - jacuzzi like - and it can get quite crowded. There was also dirt in the corners in the spa area... At some point, one staff even told me that the place is suffering from bad management and that it would be the time for some additional investments. Couldn't agree more... First of all, the location is the biggest plus of this place. At least, on the first glance, it seems some kind of a paradise. Then, some cracks start to emerge. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and you have to sleep with the windows wide open... There is an issue with the nearby villagers, who apparently have some hearing problems and they like to listen to their manele at full volume, day and night... The only plus was the friendliness of the staff, who are trying, but they are mostly young and unskilled. You can read discontent on everybody's faces. I would suggest the owners to find some additional capital to invest, and maybe to hire some Asians, similarly to other hotels in the area. ps: the sign on the restaurant's restroom door for men is put upside-down, to make it look like male genitals... it must have been some kind of revenge probably from an angry construction worker or unhappy staff. Made me think of that saying "the business with a broken window is broken"...

Very poor communication and lack of flexibility. There is no interest to make any adjustments for the customer, the only important part is cashing out. For any questions or requests the answer came in the very last minute. Really disappointed as I had greater expectations. As soon as you pay for the service there is no interest in making the least possible to adjust the client's requests or needs. I asked for the reimbursement of the reservation or change in dates. The negative response for both requests came on the supposedly check-in date after 15 o'clock.

I’ll start with the good things even tho there is very few, the hotel is located in a nice and quiet area next to the forest and that’s it. So we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights with my family and we have a small baby, and we left the next day even though we asked for a refund for the second night which was not accepted by the manager. First of all the fridge was not working in our bedroom and it is something essential to us as we need it to keep our baby’s food inside, so we called to report it and we’ve been told to bring what we have to keep cold at the front desk, just ridiculous… The temperature was way too high in the bedroom even at night ( no ac ) and our room was facing the hotel garden where someone very smart had the idea to place a fire pit, so when we wanted to open the window to get some fresh air all we were getting was smoke, on top of that the people outside were too loud and some of them were so drunk that they were breaking glass bottles in the pit. The quality of the food at the restaurant is average but the waiters are probably summer students and not qualified enough as they were terrible, no menu in English and flies everywhere making it just impossible to enjoy. Cannot recommend this place to anyone Just terrible experience…

Been in the resort in July 2023 and was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully set-up rural place, with a generous playing ground for kids that will keep them busy quite a while. The room: The rooms are impecable in term of hygiene but small and poorly designed if you plan a trip with more than 2 people for 2-3 days as the dressing in the room is tight and crowded and the minibar inside takes away even more from the space. The bathroom is nice and clean but, again, poorly designed as there are 2 major problems with it: 1) The shower has an open side without a door that you can close and that sides is close to the sink. So, if you take a shower, you will have to use a towel to wipe the remaining water or the next person using the sink will have its feet wet. 2) The shower floor is slippery so if you have kids that's a concern Both of the above are not a tragedy but its dissapointing to see such uncomfortable things in such a beautiful place. Like a bad touch on an initial nice architecture. And no A/C I've stayed here for 5 days and one of the most disturbing thing that completely ruined the stay is that every night they would have a wood fire in the main yard. My and several others clients windows were nearby the fire (the buildings are 8-10 meters away from it), and we had to close the window for aprox 3 hours until the fire was completely extinguished. There's no air conditioning in the room so after one hour the room gets very hot and you can feel the lack of oxygen. So we had to wait until 12:30-1:00 am to open the windows and be able to sleep. If we can't enjoy the fresh air from the place, it completely ruins the whole idea of the Bio Hotel while they are polluting the whole area with smoke. So, for us, this was a major issue, especially that the night is the moment when you can actually enjoy the silence and fresh air and not be intoxicated with smoke. And no A/C in the room made this worse. We were sweating after an hour. I can understand doing this once a week as an attraction, but it has the opposite effect because of the side effect that wasn't thought off. The restaurant: The a la carte restaurant was a paradox for me as the menu has very nice and tasty foods, but it also alternates with dissapointing dishes. We have the pork neck that's so carefully marinated, tasty and full of flavor and we have the veal schnitzel with a totally tasteless bad crust, like a failed experiment that makes it a sub-par cheap like food. The rice with chicken for the kids was also bad. It aims to be a healthy meal and its made with good, honest intentions, chicken stock and pieces of chicken but the rice is tough and the taste is slightly unpleasant so it really has to be rethink in my opinion. The breakfast is rich with good variety of quality bread, meat cuts, cheese and other local products. So, a solid plus here. The service: The reception employees were truly professionals, with good english command, very polite, patient and willing to help. So the quality of the employees is top notch on first impression. Overwhelmingly impressed. The restaurant staff is a mix of juniors and experienced waiters. The juniors will make mistakes occasionally but they're always polite, patient, always smiling and eager to help so the mistakes are easily compensated with their efforts make up for it But for me, the shining star of the resort was Paul, who seemed to be a head waiter or coordinating most of the staff in the restaurant. He was extremely polite, friendly, had a natural warm smile, knew when to throw in a neutral joke, perfectly aware of the customer-staff boundaries and always very aware of what's going on around him to tackle the customer needs. Its the kind of employee that radically changes a place he's working on and leave a solid mark on his departure. He knows the foods, knows what to recommend and never said no to anything and tried to meet our demands. So, even if very young, he was truly the kind of professional you'd find in very expensive places with fine dining.

Had a really bad experience with their restaurant service. After waiting for our food for more than 40 mins (with the restaurant being empty - almost no customers), they served us appetisers, soups and main dishes at the same time. You can imagine that we ended up eating half of our food cold.

I can only say that the hotel has many problems with the rooms+air conditioning+ that there is no manager present in the location... We thank you Iulian, the best head waiter with a lot of experience who made us feel wonderful and changed our opinion about this hotel. I will get back to you

Beautiful location with tasty food (even lactose & gluten free dishes). The rooms not so clean, and the shower was missing the door and hot water! Great SPA center though! During the time we were visiting, a terrible smell was in the air, similar to stalls (filled with filthy animals).

We have been in a short trip in the forest and afterwards hungry a bit therefor we discovered on Google Map a beautiful place to have a meal with local German / Romanian flavor. Located in a valley, surrounded by forest, the restaurant has a country side colour designed with good taste, big enough for a party. The menu offers a wide range of meals made with natural local products. The price is acceptable. The "cherry" in the top of the cake is a SPA and rooms to rent. The garden is simple but very well designed and kept. If you have kids they will not be bored, there is a place for them too, (tree house, rabbits...), but take care, in the middle of the garden there is a small pond without protection for small kids. The service is excellent. Next review will be after the SPA experience. Recommend this location even if you are in Brașov, worth the trip to get here.

The location is great and the potential is huge. The rooms are ok without being fantastic (minus for the bathroom which is not functional at all). I was however a bit disappointed by the spa. I came here and organize a teambuilding for 40 peoples and the management of the hotel did not ensure that the spa was functional for our arrival.

Very pleasant location. Rooms: clean, beautiful design, it might help to have a little more storage for clothes in case of long stays. Staff is young, pleasant and helpful, and it makes you feel welcome. Food: very good breakfast, but a la carte menu is medium. They need a chef with more courage to use salt and condiments. The pastas for children are a little blunt, out of the can😅 Playground: a nice and safe place for children, helps parents to have a break 👍 the have outdoors and indoors, the fishing in the ponds it is a very nice activity for children. SPA: good experience, but it needs a makeover and improvments from the owners. For example, the indoor pool had the heating system broken...so the water was cold. The sauna was a big plus and perfect experience. Overall, the staff of the location is a big plus, professionals , and they bring value to the place, helping the guest to have a pleasant stay. We would like to come back.

Lovely location, great breakfast, good meals at the restaurant. However, it was a fully booked weekend and the staff was overwhelmed (waiting over an hour for food at lunch and dinner). On Sunday morning, there was just one coffee machine available.

The room and the spa smelled awfull. Service time at the restaurant was absurd. You even have to pay for parking although you are in the middle of nowhere. Mold everywhere. The location is nice and the breakfast was good.

Nice location, but the restaurant has much improvements to make. High prices, not the best food. We had to quit desert after waiting another 30 minutes after asking and being said it's almost ready. No experience for the spa and rooms, but just to go there to eat not worth it.

The location is wonderful and the road there is good. We did not stay at the hotel, but came to eat at the restaurant. The food is good and traditional, with big portions. Though we were a little bothered by the flies that were flying around inside the restaurant. Because it had just rained outside, we chose to stay indoors, but at some point we gave up and moved to the terrace. Our child had a great time though, as there was a great playground outside, with lots of green space to run around and there were a lot of families with kids there. The atmosphere itself is calm and relaxing, we would come again, but stay on the terrace this time.

I really think that such places need to be promoted more and more, the place has a lot of taste and during summer, because of the forest the air quality is great and chilly, you ca breathe and enjoy the moment. We saw the spa area, it is not big, but I really think that it is enough, we had some nice food at the restaurant and we chilled there for one evening. They have rabbits and lots of activities can be done. I think it is a nice place to stay for a while and just relax.

Poor customer service, flexibility 0, you want to come here in order to relax and enjoy the services they are offering and then after you have made the reservation one day before at the massage for example, you get the answer THE NEXT DAY (after you already stayed one night) that there are no more free slots and you can use only the sauna or minipool if you want. We wanted to leave the second day and get the refund for the second night but they didn t want to give us the refund, no excuses, nothing. It s sad because the location is pretty nice but the service is very bad, the client is appreciated only when he has to pay. You are paying for their parking also, it doesn t matter if you are staying there (15 ron/day). We left unfortunately, with the money taken and disappointmented, without having the relaxing day we wished. Sorry for you, guys. But this is not the way you attract clients and get appreciation.

Pros Beautiful peaceful quiet rural setting. Very good food. Friendly helpful staff, except see below. Spa: relaxation room with complimentary water, tea, and apples, and salt room. Parquet floor and traditional painted furniture in room. Cons Paying for parking and then walking out to the road on icy footpaths and back into the hotel with our luggage. I suggest if the management/owner hasn't tried, that he/she attempt to negotiate with the neighbor who runs the parking lot to build a gate for hotel clients to get to and from the parking lot. When we entered our room, my wife noticed that there was only one set of towels - for one person. I went to the front desk. The lady told me they would bring it up to the room. After my wife took a shower; and it was my turn, I waited 45 minutes. Finally I went back to the front desk. This time, the front desk lady walked about 4 yards to retrieve the towels and gave them to me (why couldn't she do that the first time??!!) I never got an explanation for this annoying inconvenience. When I complained, the front desk woman (I never got her name) told me that the manager would call me. He/she didn't call. The refrigerator in the room did not work. We don't like doorless shower stalls. RE: spa The steam room was too hot; and the water coming out of the hose was SCALDING hot!! My wife actually suffered a burn from trying to use it. The jacuzzi jets in the warm pool did not work. We asked 3 times. We were told that they go on automatically; but we spent 3 - 4 hours in the spa every day, and never saw them turn on. It is hard to imagine a spa without some bubbles! For some reason they turned off the ice machine when we were there; and we had to ask them to turn it on… No response from management to this review.
