A top traditional restored mansion. Here you can have the feeling how the ottoman lived in this historical city hundreds of years ago. The hosts are friendly and quick by the reservation. The breakfast is huge and really Turkish style. Mmmh. The only thing is, that you have to pay for water extra which normally costs 1,5 lira costs there 5 lira. That was not so good. But on the other hand, we don't payed for extra milk for our kids. Maybe it could also be 4,5 stars but this is not possible to select ;-). in summary we recommend this mansion with a clear conscience.

Hotel was super clean, owners very friendly, food service fantastic - a true Turkish food experience, hotel rooms kept in style of old Safranbolu houses - absolutely quaint, fun and authentic with the modern update of the bathroom in the closet. Very much like a Bed and Breakfast because hosts are so amicable. I wanted to give them a 5 star review but couldn't due to the fact that mask wearing is not enforced or followed by the hosts.

One of the best places to stay. The room and the bathroom are very clean. The owners are hospitality and the breakfast in the morning is also 5 stars worth. This konak is also in the center so you can walk to everywhere. I recommend this place. 5 stars from me.

Our 3 days stay in Hanedan Konakları was great. Muzeyyen hanım's cookies were out of this world. We stayed in 3rd floor corner room. The view was exceptional. The place was autentic and was restored to its original golory. The staff treeted us like a family. Breakfast was another delight. Muzeyyen's sunny side up eggs with local herbs and spices were outstanding. We even asked for an extra serving and she did with no extra cost. Location was anoher reason we loved the place. It was short hop and skip away from the center of old town. We thank them all for a lovely experiance.

This konak hotel is amazing from top to bottom! Nearly every detail in the room, including the concealed bathroom, stays true to the classic Ottoman style, and our room looked out across the historic district of Safranbolu. The hospitality shown by the owners was amazing, with tea and cookies when we arrived and a stunning homemade breakfast spread in the morning. The only downside was that the hosts didn't wear masks at all during our stay, which made us quite uncomfortable as far as COVID precautions.

This place is run by a family. Müzeyyen Hanım does everything in the hotel, she cooks the breakfast as well. Our room was very clean and tidy. It feels very cosy to stay in a this kind of old style house.

I stayed in this hotel with my own Turkish family and my husband’s Australian family. We were 9 people and the owner arranged the rooms at the same floor so we can stay close to each other. The owners of the hotel Kamil and Muzeyyen were so friendly and kind. The rooms were spotless and they provide us towels including even for our feet. The rooms has blow driers if you need and praying mats are available if you want to pray. The breakfast is prepared by the owner, Muzeyyen, and we had her delicious strawberry and apricot jams. The owner Kamil recommended a restaurant called Safranbolu Sofrasi and it was fantastic. We enjoyed “sac tava” “guvec” and “yayim” and especially “sarma “ a lot. Overall our experience was super good. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Safranbolu. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks to Kamil and Muzeyyen and Sare. Great people. They made us feel like we are home. I love my country’s humble and hardworking people.

Great traditional BnB, comfortable rooms, view, etc. Run by really friendly people who cook a great Turkish breakfast and give good recommendations for local restaurants.

If you want the true Safronbolu experience, this family run hotel is wonderful. I love leaving my shoes at the door in the shoe closet and heading upstairs in thr slippers provided. The family is delightful, accomodating, attentive and has wonderful suggestions for places to eat etc. The breakfast is a real village breakfast, complete with homemade jams and freshly fried sigora boreği among the rest of the fresh food. Everything is walkable from the hotel. Every detail in the room is so aesthetic and lovely. Don’t miss staying here!

This was by far the best stay I’ve been in, in a long time. The people are warm, kind, and knowledgeable. The stay itself was a traditional type house which was what we were looking for to start with. It was very very clean and the room itself was also very clean. The house was nice and cool despite the weather being very hot. It’s very close to the downtown markets so much so that we could walk. Parking was easy too as they had room on the street for our rental car. Honestly cannot wait to visit again and stay here again 10/10!
