The "Saphan Makkhawan Rangsan" bridge, built during the 5th reign of King Rama, was originally constructed with stone (not concrete). The iron parts were covered in gold, known as "Gold-Shouldered Iron." This photo was taken in the year 1920 AD (2463 BE), 104 years ago. Picture sourced from the "ReurnThai" website.
