Fontaine Rouge

Tourist attraction Historical landmark

👍👍 Pretty little fountain which has a red color (its flowing water always contains a lot of iron). It's a lovely 15-minute walk that starts from the cemetery. It's not complicated or very hard. Is it worth it. Tell yourself that Cardinal Richelieu came here too

Certainly it is not worth a trip specifically for this site, but the place is pleasant, a picnic table is available, the fresh water can be drunk, even if it has a fairly pronounced metallic taste. It is located at the start of a discovery trail with information panels. Shaded in summer, sunny in winter. I recommend the walk (with an l) if you are in the area.

Nice place, good, the water is clear but it doesn't matter.

A pretty path leads there. The noise of the city fades away for a moment of calm. It’s a shame that the maintenance of the fountain and surrounding areas is passable. But it is a beautiful view of Pont-à-Mousson and the abbey.

Great little stroll. You can go down there when you are at the monsoon hill but be careful when going back up.

Nice quiet place...with the famous fountain "Rouge" Unfortunately, vandals kicked the stone off. A restoration would be necessary to restore it

Not much to see. Just a small fountain with a small trickle of water flowing. Honestly, it's not worth a trip.

Beautiful route of around 30 minutes dotted with old orchards. Shaded course perfect for very sunny days.

The road there was slippery and muddy in January.
