Amazing first experience, helped me find exactly what I was looking for while being extremely knowledgeable and polite along the way. This is one of my dad and I favorite place to visit. Not only that, My whole family shops here. Even if I don’t buy anything, I love to visit just to look and talk about watches. I find that that their Rolex and Patek representative knows what they are talking about when it comes their watches, even More so than most ADs. Gandelman is not a Patek Philippe dealer any more but still have some pieces left over from when they were. Fidel has been nothing but exceptional to me. Every time we buy something, Fidel makes the purchase extra special. Not only does he help with picking out a special pieces, he gave us great advice about housing in Aruba. Whenever I visit, I always look for Fidel to help as he is honest and help curates my watch collection.

We walked into the store and were helped by a very friendly woman named Rita who was patient and informative on Tuesday 10/27. Walked back in on Saturday 10/31 to inquire about a Rolex watch we were shown earlier in the week upon our first visit and the manager Mario was so disrespectful & aggressive. He wouldn’t answer if the watch is still available and continued to lecture us on how it’s important to remember who we spoke to. How about you take your time to service us and show us different options? He then went to speak to the other sales representative and talk about us in Spanish. Apparently they work in separate groups and I guess it’s a competition with commission. This should never compromise the customer experience! We are well versed in the fact that the Rolex we were interested in may have sold but then please present us alternative options. He then lectured us how he doesn’t want customers to sell on secondary market. Why would you assume your customers are doing that? Terrible experience!!! Please re-evaluate your manager Mario. Tourism is down in Aruba due to the global pandemic; this is especially a time you should treat customers with the upmost respect.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here in Aruba, partly due to the amazing and highly professional service that we experienced at this Gandelman location when their sales associate, Jessy, helped me find an awesome Rolex GMT, along with some lovely earrings for my better half. This is the place to be if looking for something luxurious on the island. Jessy went way above and beyond to make this trip special, and drives home the point that Aruba is One Happy Island. Jessy helped my wife find the perfect fit, made the watch buying process a breeze, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, offered an absolutely excellent restaurant recommendation when we were in a jam (our original reservation was cancelled day of due to weather, and we needed a replacement as it was a special occasion. If you are reading this Jessy your recommendation was perfect and we loved it). That is just the cherry on top of an already exceptional experience buying from this store. Their inventory of fine jewelry and watches is tough to beat, featuring some hard to find and stunning pieces from Bvlgari and David Yurman. The staff is friendly, easy to chat with, and will do what they can to help you out. You will find yourself wanting to do business here again and again, even more so if you have the pleasure of working with staff that helped us the other day!

I bought my wife's first Rolex here back in 2017, everything was great! Excellent staff, 5-star service and smiles everywhere. I stop by every time I visit the island and it's a joy every time. Going back again next week, maybe I'll get lucky! This is an update from my visit last week. Unfortunately, I have to change my 5-star review to a 1-star review. To keep it short, I visited the store 4 times throughout the week, worked with a lady named Carmen. I did not manage to get any of the watches on my long list. She never called me to offer anything, I had to come into the store myself to see more and more inventory and waste 2 hours of my time on the island each time. I did see someone post a review a day after my 3rd visit to the store, showing they purchased one of the watches that was on my list and worked with a guy named Jesse, I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I had the wrong salesperson. This was my 5th visit to the Island since I purchased my wife's watch there in 2017, I stop by multiple times each time I am on the Island and fill out the same form, still, I have not been able to purchase anything. Will be going back in January, hopefully I will have a better experience and will update my review then.

My husband and I were visiting Aruba and walked into the Rolex shop at Gandelman where Margarita was assisting us. We saw a watch that we were interested in purchasing for our collection and inquired about US Customs. Margarita gave us information that did not sound correct so we wanted to make sure we understood the process before making the purchase; she told us to ask for her upon returning should we want to make a purchase. When we called US Customs, we got the confirmation that the information Margarita told us was incorrect; the US Customs agent gave us the correct information. We then went back to make the purchase an hour later, Margarita acted like she didn’t recognize us and was rude. After telling us that the watch was already sold, she continued to be rude stating we should have purchased it immediately. Based on this experience, we would never consider purchasing a Rolex from Gandelman as there are better Rolex dealers back at home.

Shopping with Gandelman was one of the best experiences ever, mostly due to the top notch service from Giancarla and Richelle. Getting the exact Rolex you want in this day in age is not easy, but Gandelman made it happen. I was able to land my dream watch and have nothing but great things to say about the level of service and care I received from the entire staff. I will certainly be coming back to Aruba in the future, and will make sure to stop and Gandelman whenever I am on the island.

What can I say but this AD coming through for me and help me acquire my grail Rolex model! I’m grateful to Ishel for obtaining an allocation for my dream rolex in a reasonably timely manner. I felt personally barred from management at Gandelman. After spending considerable time with a great salesman who provided a wonderful experience and exhausting every possible in stock item, I found the perfect piece that I intended to gift to my long term business partner. I was denied purchase by management based on a rule that did not exist anywhere in the store, online, in any writing, or in any terms or conditions. The manager could not give me any official reason or timeframe to when I would be able to make a purchase and it certainly felt that this rule was made up that moment specifically for me. I felt it was a personal attack for unknown reasons. Despite being a resident on the Island, I will not be making a purchase here and cannot recommend a place that willingly wasted my time.

We went every day to see if they got any shipments of Rolex watches. They got one shipment while we were there. 2 watches came and they were female. Husband was really hoping they’d have something in stock, but there is a worldwide shortage of Rolex so we understand. Service was great and workers were very kind.

The experience of purchasing my first Rolex time piece at Gandelman’s was exceptional, thanks to Gary. We first met in Sept 2022 when I visited Aruba for my 25th anniversary. We had exchanges via WhatsApp where he worked tirelessly to fulfill my dream of owning a Rolex before my return to the island on my birthday March 3rd. I’m pleased to say Gary delivered!!!! He is very knowledgable about the brand and took the time to educate me on the wide world of Rolex. He has a keen eye trained to select time pieces best suited for my aesthetic. I ended up purchasing a timepiece (Submariner DateJust) unlike the one I selected on the Rolex website based on his professional recommendation. We were so impressed with the experience. I live in Michigan and all the authorized Rolex stores have zero inventory with a three year waiting list for a GMT! Reply to response from owner: Well that's the thing, my husband did have his State ID with him and was told because it wasn't a drivers license and didn't have the same amount of numbers as a license, it wasn't acceptable. Funny part is, all state IDs have the same amount of numbers as a drivers license. Then they said I needed to send a picture of his passport. Now the salesman has a picture of my husbands passport on his cellphone. I should have stopped the sale right there but I didn't. My husband told me afterwards that he felt extremely uncomfortable. That is not right! Please let me know what your return policy is. I will not do business with companies that profile their customers! PS: We purchased 2 carat diamond earrings the same week and had absolutely no issues. Went to purchase a bracelet with my husband. Found the one I was looking for and when my husband gave his credit card, they profiled him because he has tattoos! They asked for a copy of his passport! I only had a picture and the salesman asked me to send the picture to his phone!! We purchase jewelry every time we’re on the island and have never been treated this way. I will be returning the bracelet and purchasing one in the States.

The in and outside of the store looks nice, but the jewelrys are from very very bad quality. I bought a neckless and a engagement ring and both jewelrys are broken. The neckless broke and the ring bent. When you come to the store to ask how it is possible that the neckless and ring from such a high price broke so fast then they will blame you for not taken good care of the jewelry. The neckless and ring where just a few months old. After they put the blame on me i had to pay more to repair my ring and neckless. The same day just after a couple of hours the ring bent again totaly like an Iron wire. And the neckless broke again. Went back to gandelman again to show them the broken neckless and ring and believen it or not they put the blame on me again and only offer to help was to let me pay again!!

I want to thank Jessy for her exceptional service every time we visit Aruba! Jessy has always helped to find hard to find timepieces even as they have become difficult to find. Excellent service from very knowledgable staff in this Rolex boutique. Was very happy to be able to buy a watch from them and I would highly recommend shopping here. Alvin was a joy to deal with and helped me secure a watch I had been trying to buy for some time.

Heading back home now, will purchase the item there Btw, the wife is staying on the island a few extra days with relatives and stopped by the store (after I told her not to)to get the answer to my original question(which I never got a response to).
