Very quick service and the gyros and octopus were perfect. Great little salad on the side and who can get over nuclear yellow chips lol. We enjoyed our lunch here in the middle of Greek Oakleigh.

Great to go on a lovely evening and watch life go by in Oakleigh. We ordered the meat platter for 3 for 4 people and was plenty of food. We also got the saganki which was lovely. The food is a tad salty so drink plenty of water. The staff are great as well. I will Be back!

Great atmosphere, Oakleigh has a very big Greek community living here. Not surprisingly there's many Greek restaurants here. The place is very lively and it is very similar to being on a street in Greece, enjoying a meal with friends and the food is amazing.

Great Greek Authentic restaurant, the open souvlaki and lamb cutlets are a taste of authentic Greece. Simply unmatched. Highly recommended! Booking is recommended as fills up very fast, one of the best Greek restaurants. They have 2 locations opposite the strip from each other, one with a bar.

Classic greek food done well. We ordered the mix plate for 2 and it serving was huge! All the meats were delicate, juicy and full of flavour. Loved the sitting outside on a warm summers morning/afternoon to enjoy the food. The ambience of the busy street really tops the experience!

MYTHOS MAGIC 🌯💙🇬🇷🤝 Been here a few times now and my last visit was by far the BEST in Oakleigh. Walked in for lunch session. Waiters were all over it. Great service 👏 keep it up people 👏 Food was nice n tasty came out fast and the serving sizes are great. Good value !! The venue is kept clean and has a nice atmosphere outside. 👌 Easy to find. Easy to park. Great value. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend. Definitely a Mr Bondo favourite!

Had team lunch at Mythos Gyros Bar. It was the first time and i was blown away with their generous amount of food and professionalism. It was very comfortable to eat and drink there and also food taste was fantastic! Will come back with friends and family :)

Every time I feel like having Greek food, I come to Mythos Gyros Bar. The food here is spectacular and I always order the same thing. I get the platter for two and usually a fish dish that comes with potatoes and salad. The platter is always huge and comes with chips, pita bread, various meats, dip and Greek salad. Mayne, this place is actually so good.

Unfortunately quite average. Not as good as it used to be a few years back. The quality of the meat is not that great. Staff are friendly however and the restaurant is nice. There are far superior choices now such as Pita Wrap It and Kolonaki which are just incredible.

The dips and bread were amazing. Had the gyro with lamb as well. The bread was so soft and fresh. The lamb was some of the best I've had, too. Saganaki was nice and hit the spot. Will definitely return.

Had lunch here. Friendly service and authentic Greek food. Food was fresh, tasty, well made and reasonably priced. Everything was nice but highly recommend the pork belly just amazing. Definitely will be coming back here again. Enjoy

Popped in with my girls for a Thursday lunch. We sat inside at a table at the back .. wanted privacy and we had great service from The young waitress. Food was served so fast after ordering. My daughter and I had a lamb and chicken open gyro platter with extra pita bread. Just delicious. My wife had a huge tasty vegetarian burger. Meals were served chips and side dips, including a very tasty aioli. So we had a wonderful experience and a great lunch and we shall be back

The food was consistently amazing, and despite not having a reservation, the wait was minimal, and we were promptly seated. A delightful experience overall!

Greek food never disappoints and Mythos is no exception. The pita is fluffy and the dips are tasty. The mixed grill plates are perfect for groups large or small, with the kebab meat, chicken/beef/pork skewers, lamb cutlets and sausages all cooked to perfection atop a pile of fresh salad and crunchy chips. The margaritas also really good, especially if you score yourself an outside table on a sunny summer day.

Very disappointed!!! This place use to be really nice when it first opened. Average food quality and even worse customer service. Staff are in too much of a rush to get customers to order. Nobody likes feeling rushed (so stop pushing people every few minutes). It’s annoying. Quality and taste of food are not great. Overpriced for what you are now given. Unfortunately has gone downhill. Will not be coming back here again.

Good feed along a strip of Greek restaurants! Desserts and coffee at Vanilla after is a must.

MOST AMAZING GYROS EVER! the meat is seasoned and flavoured well, the pita bread that was wrapped around was soft and such a delicious bread! Although it’s a bit far away it’s so worth it!! 100% recommend, the lemon lime bitters is so good, with the best flavours melting in your mouth. my first time coming here, and definitely won’t be my last. this greek restaurant doesn’t disappoint, will definitely be coming again

Amazing food, some of the best in Oakleigh. The meat here is delicious. My fav is the HSP with pork for $15. Bread here is amazing too. Can get very busy due to its popularity. One of my all time favourite restaurants.

Went in for a quick lunch and was happy with the service and food. Wasn't too busy being a weekday, but still had a fair amount of people. You can sit inside or outside. The staff are quite friendly and order came in time. The meze grilled calamari was tasty and the meze sausages were done just right. Loved the pita.

Really busy for a Sunday afternoon. The skewered meat was moist and tender, with a great chargrill flavour. The gyros was packed to the brim. The grilled octopus was the only let down - served lukewarm and mushy. Get just the meat skewers and it'd easily be 5-stars.

Food was outstanding. We had a shared platter for 3 and it was probably more than enough for 4 - portions were super generous. The platter was a really good way to have a taste of all the different meats! Massive queue out front when we were waiting but the staff managed the demand really well and we weren’t waiting too long, well worth waiting in the line for. Look forward to coming back for another meal!

The open plate mixed gyros was great, the meat was so juicy and tender especially the lamb and it was actually almost perfect but the meat was slightly too salty. The pita was so soft and served warm! We also ordered the mixed gyros which turn out fine but it was lacking fries (there was only 3 fries in it):( Ok now the service… I understand that is father’s day and it is quite busy. We were told to wait for 5 minutes and we could see there was actually 4-5 empty tables so we waited. 15 minutes in and we were still waiting so we asked one of their other staff again and were told that they no longer taking orders…We had to explain that one of your staff told us to wait and now you say you don’t take order anymore??? Yes, we did get a table afterwards but their managements are seriously lacking. Also, the manager was yelling at one of the staff and honestly isn’t that kinda unprofessional to do it in front of all your customers?

Amazing Greek food! We had oysters as well as the Lamb Gyros Open Plate & Lamb Skewer Plate. SO GOOD ALL AROUND. Oysters were fresh and delicious, both plates were healthy servings and also delicious. Had some Mythos lager which was the cherry on top. Super busy, even on a Monday (understandably because it’s so good!)

Why go to Mythos, when it's here on your door step..... The food was well served 😋 up. Right amount of seasoning/flavours. Well cooked and prepared. We ordered the Gyros open plate. Went home extremely full. Even our little son loved it. Looking forward to our next visit. Hopefully they are consistent unlike others around them. Job well done!

Got the mythos platter for 3, there were 4 of us eating, quantity was just right. Food was of great quality and great variety, would highly recommend!

All the places around were playing Greek music but not this one. Mostly American rap with lots of cursing. We sat next to a mom with two kids probably early teens and felt really uncomfortable watching them trying to finish their lunch quickly so they could walk out of there. Food was meh. Overall not a very good experience. Wish we had chosen one of the other Greek restaurants nearby.

What a wonderful experience! I have been here a couple of times now and every time I come in, I am greeted with the most wonderful customer service! But the food is incredible!!! I cannot resist lamb gyros, and it was the tastiest, most tender and delicious lamb I have had in forever! Thank you to the wonderful customer service team AND the incredible chefs who cook the delicious food! I cannot wait to visit again on my next Melbourne trip!

The meat combo wrap was really delicious and was sufficient for my lunch. It wasn't as big as other wraps I've had in other places which I often struggle to finish and often have to share with someone. We came here as a group of 9 people and our food came out at the same time and they were hot. Several in the group ordered HSP packs. The business has two premises facing each other - seafood is prepared in one location and meats in the other. I quite liked the outdoor seating under the umbrellas in the middle of the mall.

Why has it taken me so long to stumble across Mythos Gyros Bar? Best chicken wraps! Great flavour and really decent sized portions.

Two of us came to Mythos Gyros Bar on a Sunday night for some Greek dinner. It was bustling as usual for a weekend night in Oakleigh. We were promptly seated, given menus and water for the table, and ordered shortly after. We ordered the lamb gyros, mixed gyros with lamb and chicken, and a Greek salad. We were both very pleased with the short wait time, delicious food, exceptional service and reasonable prices! Thank you to all the staff at Mythos - we had a very good experience and so we will definitely come back again!

I hadn't been to Mythos in a while. I ordered a pork giros and it was really tasty and melted in your mouth. The small chips were amongst the tastiest I have had in a while and weren't covered in salt and herbs like I experienced up the road. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely go again

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The wait staff are super friendly and down to earth, and the food here is amazing. Only thing I'll make note of is the pork being a little try during our last visit. The lamb and chicken were on point, super succulent and flavoursome. This is definitely a great place to take guests out for a meal as this restaurant is authentic as it gets with Greek food in Melbourne!

The staff were really friendly. We didn't manage to get a inside table at first, then when I asked nicely they moved me to an open table which was warmer. The Pita Lamb gyros was so good. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

And be brave and experiment with the different food.

Delicious. We have tried most things on the menu here. All delectable. Our favourite choices are the mixed pitas or the sharing meat platters. Everything is cooked and prepared fresh. An absolute triumph of traditional tasty Greek food.
