I was there for the val. Day event, I had a buffet but was told to buy water. The meals were sumptuous, but the event was overcrowded. The lobby was over furnished , space at all. Other hhan than that, the staff were very courteous and polite and well trained. Meals and drinks are reasonably priced, which really surprised me. Altogether I really enjoyed my self

Golden Tulip GRA Port Harcourt is a lovely, well decorated, multi-storey building. It is located in the heart of GRA and within a short distance to many banks, religious places, leisure centres, and clubs. It is a beautiful place to go to with family and friends. It has several conference/meeting rooms that companies use. It also has a spa for deep tissue massages, a salon for male haircuts, and a well equipped gym for exercise. Downside I noticed is that it has a small car park and a swimming pool hidden away behind the restaurant. Moving between the pool and room can be a hassle. Access to the rooms and certain conference rooms in by staircase or an air conditioned elevator. Each floor has additional corridor access doors operatable by your room access keys, making it even more secure. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast with the room. The restaurant is adjacent to the bar, and both have really good capacity for about 50 people, respectively. The meals in the restaurant are usually a buffet, and they taste great. I love the breakfast menu. Lastly, the staff members are nice and friendly. Always willing to help. I have recommended this hotel to my friends, and I see them come in with their friends too. At least I know they are happy with the service.

Candid advice? Visit somewhere else or maybe I visited at a wrong time. The walkway and rooms were renovated and the smell of paint was still everywhere. The orders took forever I mean, you place an order by 11am and getting it by 1pm would be a miracle. No order came earlier than 2hours even when they give you a 45mins/15mins wait time, you would need to call to remind them maybe twice. You tell the room service to bill an item to the room seeing that they didn't bring the POS, they look at you strangely and call severally to ask the same question when they know you're not checking out that night. How unprofessional! Lastly, the rooms were really small, the bathroom door hurt my leg a couple of times while trying to enter and shut it. It wasn't value for my money, nothing compared to the amounts charged. The only thing I enjoyed was their food.

A quiet place after the day's work. While you could get any kind of drinks from the lounge, I wouldn't consider the lounge "very functional" as there is no music. Well, they said the focus is on "business people" who just want a quiet place for rest. The breakfast is well served with varieties of food. It's Christmas time and I was kind of disappointed that their Christmas decorations are not catchy or interesting as such. All the same, it's a good hotel to be.

Safe and secure environment. Front desk staff and guests relations manager are amazing. The security personnel are great and on top of their job. Breakfast is wonderful, and varieties are available to make a choice. Lovely place to be.

Stayed for 5 night at the beginning of November for a conference. First time visit Port Harcourt. Hotel was really nice, and the staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the staff and manger in the restaurant. Would recommend

I am rating here a general 3 star based on 2 reasons. The rooms are not 100% renovated to newest aesthetic standards considering the price. Their gym is not equipped at all and needs a major upgrade.. A single treadmill and rack is not a gym for a hotel of this standard.

You will love this place. Rooms are good and cosy, lovely ambience, good cuisines, complementary breakfast; if a vegetarian, you are good

One of my preferred hangout spots in Port Harcourt. The buffet is excellent, toilets are very clean, staff are jovial and rooms are just perfect.

Attended an event here and it was nothing short of amazing! The environment, security, service, etc., was top-notch. This is one hotel you want to lodge at when you visit Port Harcourt. It's a 💯 for me.

The ambience, the staff and the rooms were very good, I loved it. It's quite a cozy hotel but maybe the kind do well with things like having a bar out by the pool side, instead of having to be doing the service from inside. The car park can fill up quite quickly especially during the times that there's an event on site. Just to mention that it can be seen as expensive but it was quite an experience.

The room is neat and well maintined. Great meal at reasonable price. The staff are very freindly and always willing to be of assistance. The front desk seems to be slightly over crowded same goes to the car park area which sometimes extend to the entrance to the lobby.

Beautiful environment, great restaurant with top range buffet n excellent service from very professional staff from d security, reception, bar n d super chef whose culinary expertise is out of this world. Their rates are very fair n affordable 👍🏆💯

I stayed in the standard room. It is a Good size room, and there is a lot of security generally in the hotel. Your room key gives you access to your floor and your room. The breakfast has a large variety of continental and local food. Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The downside was I found a small roach in my room and for the cost of a room I didn't think that was acceptable

Made reservations for the buffet at their restaurant a few times. Delicious meals and lovely ambience for my dinner meetings. The location is as calm as serenity gets. I'd keep using this service in PH. A big pass mark.

I must commend the staff of the hotel. They do their best to support you. We had a huge problem at check out and the staff went over and beyond to support us. The rooms are large for an individual or couple. Asides this, I don’t think the hotel has value for money. I think it is quite expensive, the shower and TV in my room did not work well.

Stayed at golden tulip Evo road and was a decent and comfortable experience. Breakfast is served early for those who has an early morning. For an hotel that isn't new, it is well managed and maintained. The room card is restricted to your floor and the overall security is to notch. If you're looking for a hotel that is safe and decent...Then try this when you're in PH

If you are coming to this hotel as a single woman ( doesn’t matter the reason) be ready to get the most humiliation, embarrassment and insult from the doorman . Walked into the hotel today and the doorman asked me for a mask. After telling him I didn’t have one and asking if he could give me one, he goes on to say how he doesn’t like my attitude, I ask him why he would talk to me that way, and what proceeded was shouts and insults . No one did anything . They just walked by as he did that to me . The only reason that happened is because I WASNT a man or with a man because he wouldn’t have done that to a man . Save your money and go where you’ll be treated with dignity and respect

Your standard is reducing, raise it up and maintain it. Change ac outdoor unit to modern unit. Change awning shed, create more exciting features around,introduce outdoor electronic screen on the wall and air good advert and programs.

Relatively clean room, I don’t understand the extra gating system required to access the halls to the rooms from the elevator. My friend had their pineapple smoothie at the bar. It was great.

Hotel is okay. Rooms are clean but finishing not so good. Had issues with hot water while there. Restaurant is good. Great food choices.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall hotel is good however the breakfast service was not up to standard for a 4* hotel. For staying there a whole week, only on Monday we had a good breakfast service. Every other days, either there is not enough food and you need to wait 5-10 mins for refill, you have to call to get coffee poured in your cup another 5 mins and don't even ask for omelette as it takes up to 15mins to make. Most of the time people left without eating what I wanted and every second table was complaining about something during the breakfast service. Mind you they were not servicing 20 people at the time. Was really disappointed from the expectations set and the price paid...
