Well organized, historical museum. There's lots to learn about the immediate period after WW2, and doing so on site is a lot of fun. You need to buy a ticket to enter which I think is around ten euro. If you don't want to pay, the architecture is nice to look at from the outside and the facility is in the middle of a beautiful park near a lot of lakes.

The site of the famous Potsdam Conference (July 17 - August 2, 1945) - an event that drew the BIG THREE together to negotiate terms for the end of World War II and defined Germany's history for the following 45 years. With this historic insights, imagine what it feels like when you are there

At first glance, it seemed like a normal palace but it holds a dual history. One of the kings before the fall of the empires and other the after WW2 history. Many historical figures lived here who decided the aftermath of the world after WW2. It's the iconic conference venue of the conference. Around this you have an excellent beautiful garden. Wonderful lake. Nearby other palaces. Overall it's a must visit place. You can be part of WW2 history.

A visit to Cecilienhof is important as a reminder of the conflicts which have come before us and how "solutions" were developed in the Potsdam Agreement. There is an admission fee but should you be planning to also visit the Palace of Sanssouci in Potsdam Germany check out purchasing a combined ticket. The history at Cecilienhof is over every inch of the property. Enjoy the experience.

This is - it absolutely is! - the model for the houses of chocolate I used to see in my childhood infant books. This Tudor style little palace is gorgeous, it comes straight out from wonderland. I couldn't help noticing the Red Star in the back garden... it was still there many decades after it was probably imposed on this site by some over-zealous garden-chief.

Cecilienhof has beautiful gardens and amazing architecture. We couldn’t go inside because they had just closed, but the gardens are incredibly beautiful and it’s free entrance (to enter the Palace you have to pay a €12 pp ticket). 🪻🌸🌻

I teresting place for history buffs in a really idealistic park setting. Tour is included if you get the palace + pass. Not sure worth 12e on its own. The conferance room and offices are the attractions. Audioguide is long. Really just the rooms. Great historical place though!

Fascinating information about the Potsdam Conference. Would have liked to have seen more of the Palace itself if possible

Very beautiful both inside and outside. Everything is well maintained, very magical atmosphere. Inside is an interesting museum. There is an audio guide in many languages, the staff is friendly. The tour was very interesting and informative, the locations are interesting.

We didnt go inside because we were on a day trip, visiting other places too. But the gardens are really beautiful - we visited in the end of summer and it was all green and with a lot of flowers

Cecilienhof is a magnificent building and a great place to walk around, not only to take in the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside but also to learn about the rich and significant history of this building. Fun fact, this site is the location of the Potsdam Conference, where the allied powers discussed and planned what the post-war world would be.

Charming place with a wonderful castle which you can enter after buying a ticket. Around it huge meadows, water and all you need for a nice day outside.

A place for those who are interested in the Second World War. The pyramid in the garden (it even has hieroglyphs on it) was amazing. The entrance fee to the building is very expensive. The decisions taken here in the post-war period are of great importance. Churchill, Truman and Stalin met here. Inside, there are the rooms where the meetings were held and the images of the diplomats. Parking area is paid. The garden of the palace is free and its landscape is worth seeing. Very beautiful castle. Wonderful rooms, some with original furniture. The best guided tour with lots of detailed information. It was the second time we were there and we always discovered something new.

It was a holiday so I couldn't go inside. The exterior of the building was also very nice. It felt different because it was the site of the Potsdam Conference.

Famous for hosting the Potsdam Conference of 1945. At present there is an excellent exhibition on the Conference. The house and gardens are beautiful and free of charge. Situated in a larger park with other places to visit and is within walking distance of the city centre.
