I stayed in their Presidential Suite for 5 days. Beautiful large two bedroom, three bathroom w/ terrace & hot tub, all on the top floor. No issues there, although the outdoor deck could use some maintenance attention. The staff: nice and friendly, quite helpful. No issues there. What I was NOT happy about were all the additional charges for every little thing. When you're staying in the Presidential Suite, as I was, you expect to have your shirts pressed, and your laundry done as part of the package,... but no! They charge you for everything they can. Here's an example: Laundry: 2 shirts & 2 pairs of pants pressed, 10 pairs of socks and 6 pairs of underwear washed, cost 5,700 Czech Crowns, that equals $356.25 in Canadian dollars! I've stayed at many Luxury hotels in Europe and that kind of service was always complimentary. You even had to pay for using the mini-bar, which is always complimentary in every top tier Suite I've stayed in. Other than breakfast and having icecubes delivered to my suite, everything else was extra. You were also charged 20 euros per hour to use their pool! In my opinion, this is very petty. I was not impressed.

The Grand Mark Prague far exceeded any expectations we may have had. A stunning hotel with superior service. The suites are spacious, modern and comfortable with a kitchenette and living room. The small dining table plus desk in the bedroom were great for working away from home. The bed, pillows, and comforter were premium quality and comfort. The walk in closet was great for stashing the luggage out of site. A deep soaking tub and large stand up shower were a welcome way to wind down after walking the beautiful streets of Prague all day. The hotel is perfectly located and walkable to both sides of town. A review of the restaurant honestly deserves its own but suffice it to say this restaurant earns its Michelin rating. Nothing about these meals was pre fab. Fresh ingredients and well rounded flavors exceptionally crafted in each dish. The Grand Mark chocolate cake, which is really a thick, dark chocolate mousse with black currant sauce is absolutely divine.

Wow. One of my favourite culinary experiences. We shared a lovely meal in Le Grill on our last night in Prague. The service was second to none. We didn't feel rushed at any point, and our waiter kindly answered any questions we had relating to the menu. I had the salmon, which was spectacular, as well as the Grand Mark cake. If you're looking for a treat in a beautiful environment, you MUST visit Le Grill.

A perennial favourite of celebrities, there is excellent value to be found at this smart old-school luxury hotel. Pros: - Lovely service from the front desk staff - Great location in the heart of the Old Town - Comfortable bed - A great breakfast with plenty of options; included with our room rate - Efficient check-in and understanding of a very last-minute booking after we had issues at our previous hotel (Buddha Bar Hotel - avoid at all costs!) Cons: - Room was slightly dated and could do with a refresh - Odd bathtub design with a giant lip which caught shower water and flooded the bathroom - Appears that the bar has been permanently converted into the breakfast buffet area (even at night) meaning drinks are served in the bright and ambience-lacking lobby lounge

Amazing hotel with friendly staff and great location. The bed was super soft and comfortable. We luckily had an upgrade to a suite which was amazing with a separate lounge and dining area.

We just checked out of this hotel. 3 nights early. There were multiple problems from the beginning. The common areas smell terrible, 85% of the staff are rude, the wifi works some of the time and doesn't feel secure at all, the food is just awful, for some reason the concierge told the spa I had cancelled my appointments. I still don't know why. Lucky for me Rachel was there when I arrived and did honor my appointment. She was the highlight of the stay. She gave me a great massage. Then this happened. 3 women from housekeeping tried to let themselves into my room. They did knock but when I didn't answer they tried to open the door. Fortunately the chain was on. They explained that they were looking for someones trousers that got lost in the laundry and thought perhaps they were in our room. So if I hadn't been there they were going to go into our room search through our things looking for "the trousers". I've never thought I was going to be robbed in a hotel until today. That's not an exaggeration. It's a fact. Just a warning.

One of my favorite places in Prague. Great location, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, great vibe. And love the summer garden! 5 stars well deserved.

The worst business meeting of the 2022 I experienced in the Grand Mark hotel today. I n the conference room the whole day was bad smell from the kitchen. In the afternoon there appeared a smoke from burned food. No one from the hotel management appeared to say sorry. For me NEVER EVER. Now I understand better, this hotel used to be a member of the Kempinski chain.

This hotel is beautiful, the staff is so kind and helpful. The Swedish massage at the spa was deliciously relaxing and the facial was oh so relaxing as well. I will definitely be staying here again on my next Prague vacation. I got upgraded to a king deluxe suite because it was available and it was such a treat. I’ve never been treated this way in any hotel. Excellent customer service and again very beautiful and clean modern hotel.

A fine building and nice rooms. However, hotels are also about service. This hotel’s receptionists were consistently cold and unhelpful during my visit. Completely unacceptable for a 5* hotel. Definitely not recommended.

I stayed here in October with my family. We got one of the suits in the top floor. The suit was very large and modern designed with a Prague view balcony. Hotel is just steps away from the heart of the town. Breakfast was good. Hotel is nicely designed and decorated.

Loved the hotel all the way down to the tip notch food. Easy walk to the center square, clock and more. A high recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

What an experience, We had a suite room in that hotel, we had the pleasant idea to make a reservation at the main restaurant at 21h00 We arrived at 21h10 with 10 min delay. The hostess refused us because of our delay. The only responsed was « this is the rules » Sorry to be on holiday. The rules is now one star for your kindness, never going back there again. Welcome to Frost from Eastern Europe URSS !

On our visit to Prague, we enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Grand Mark. The hotel staff is friendly and professional and the accommodations are top notch. The hotel features a lovely courtyard which is home to fantastic dining and a family of peacocks which casually stroll about as diners enjoy the relaxing music, courtesy of a piano player which rotates nightly. A relaxing respite in the heart of Prague and walking distance to many of the most popular historic sites. Definitely will return.

The most amazing hotel. Incredible service, the valet was so friendly and kind. The room was maintained so well during our stay. Reception, concierge and waitstaff were so helpful and lovely Highlight is definitely enjoying the beautiful garden for a drink in the afternoon. We had the most incredible dinner at the restaurant here. We will definitely stay again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where does one even begin to do justice to the grandeur of The Grand Mark hotel in Prague? This hotel is not just an accommodation; it's an experience that is second to none. From the moment my family and I stepped across the threshold of the awe-inspiring lobby, we were met with a level of hospitality and professionalism that is increasingly rare in today’s world. A particular highlight was the extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Whether at the reception desk, in the restaurant, or in housekeeping, each individual seemed committed to making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The culinary offerings are another jewel in the crown of this establishment. The breakfast buffet offers a lavish spread, ranging from traditional Czech pastries to international specialties. Everything is presented freshly and artistically, making the start to your day a small feast for the senses. But the real heart of the hotel is the enchanting garden courtyard, which provides a haven of peace amidst the urban hustle and bustle of Prague. Adding a special touch is the resident family of peacocks, whose grace and beauty create a unique, almost magical, ambiance. In summary: The Grand Mark hotel in Prague is far more than just a place to stay. It’s a venue where hospitality, comfort, and luxury converge to create an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!

The staff are helpful a d friendly especially Mr Bilal he is very helpful and resourceful and he speaks many languages including Arabic, as he says “he is better than Google” he can also help you plan your trips and advice you on where to go and how to get there, make sure to ask about him when you arrive

Stayed here whilst visiting Prague for a short business trip. Excellent location within minutes of central metro lines as well as historic landmarks. The hotel itself is very well equipped. The room was excellent - large, comfortable, and with all the expected amenities and more, very good mattress and duvet. I slept very well and it was extremely quiet in the room with no noises at all. The room had both a bath and a separate shower which I appreciate alot and look out for. The hotel gym was very good with free weights, trx and a range of cardio machines. Excellent range of food for breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and polite and even helped me with some travel issues I had. Will return to use this hotel for all future business trips to this city.

Amazing experience. Rich breakfast offer, I absolutely loved orange juice and chia pudding. Whole hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, room was clean, bed had a mattress of an outstanding quality. A possibility to try wellness which is included in the price of the room.

I stayed in this hotel, and loved it. The receptionists were good, perfectly spoke English. For foreigners it’s a big plus. Offered us a drink and offered the help with our luggage. The room was clean, spacious and there are double curtains on the windows. For the people who appreciate their sleep it is a perfect place. A tv has a lot of channels in all the languages. Bathroom’s heating worked good, enough of light in every of the room. Two bottles of water from Karlovy Vary, tea for any taste and coffee you can enjoy in your room. Spa consists of massage rooms and a swimming pool. Swimming pool is free, but you can reserve it for an individual stay. Pool is small, but it’s the first hotel where the water was really super warm, with bubbles of different regimes. 2 saunas: 1 dry and 1 wet, water and water with lemon were standing nearby. The restaurant food was amazing. We had a good trainee (Tarlan), who I hope will further work in this restaurant, cause he offered us meals and helped to choose ones. Perfectly knew the menu, ingredients and for my birthday prepared the dessert with a candle and even sang a song. As the guests of the hotel, we would like you tell him our big thanks for the atmosphere we felt during all our dinner. The food was amazing! We took 3 courses menu and every time very pleasantly surprised. Great garden the hotel has , with beautiful birds, and a small fountain. Don’t understand negative reviews about the Grand Mark hotel, we would like to come back. Thank you all for our lovely stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Mark in late September for our 31st anniversary and had an amazing time. From the moment we were greeted by Nicky the Concierge, to Julia at check in, we felt like they really cared. We were provided with drinks until our room was ready and our car and bags were all taken care of us. When we arrived in our room, which the hotel upgraded for us, there were rose petals in a heart shape on our bed. We had amazing breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The service and food was some of the best we have had. Dinner in the courtyard was beautiful and we enjoyed a very relaxing meal with special unexpected treats between courses. The staff were all friendly and made sure all of our requests were addressed. During our last morning, we had a minor issue and sent a note to the hotel after our departure and Martina manager immediately replied and resolved the issue above and beyond expectations. We look forward to returning to the Prague and the Grand Mark Hotel and recommend it for anyone visiting Prague.

An absolutely fantastic experience. Perhaps the most friendly, accommodating and helpful staff I have ever interacted with. They’re little courtyard with their most impressionable peacocks is literally their garden of Eden. Spot on! in the old town.

Do not book this hotel during Covid times unless you enjoy inflexibility. Our entire Christmas market trip was cancelled due to the closing of the markets, Austria and Slovakia and they refused to help. Never again. I am not surprised by the other reviews that comment on the poor service.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the fabulous Grand Mark. Location, Food and Staff were incredible. Very family friendly hotel! We stayed in a family suite and it was perfect. Lots of lovely touches like kids robes, toiletries and activity packs. The staff left little treats for us throughout I won't spoil the surprise for you!). Bilal looked after our cases and made us feel super welcome the whole trip. The staff in the breakfast restaurant, housekeeping and reception were so lovely too. Genuinely friendly and taking an interest. Location - close to metro, tram and train stops so very easy to explore more of Prague. Walking distance to all the major attractions. There is a beautiful Czech Restaurant across the road and a fantastic beer hall (also good food). You can't go wrong with a visit here!

There are hotels where you come to sleep, this hotel makes the accommodation artistry and perfection. A comfortable bed, attentive service, the feeling that you are a welcome visitor in Prague. One of the best hotels in Prague, ideally situated for sightseeing and with a great atmosphere for relaxation and rest.

We had a wonderful stay at the grand mark. Bileli was the most helpful and attentive during our stay. He was the only one at the hotel who asked if we needed any recommendations for the area, which we weren’t expecting but was very helpful as we had forgotten a couple items. Housekeeping was also top notch. Breakfast was delicious but had a particularly odd questioning from the waiter/host seating us the first morning, with the connotation of us not belonging there. Other than this incident we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel!

Luxury, stylish, top level quality service. From the moment you walk through the gate of the Grand Mark, greeted by their amazing staff you feel at home. This property is outstanding, their guest room is spacious. You have to check out their courtyard. There, you will find refuge surrounded by nature and certain magical creatures roaming around will no doubt approach you and greet you. Even though you are at the center of Prague, just a few minutes walk from all major touristic locations,, you will feel at the same time you are away from the busy and often congested center. I highly recommend this property to the most discerning of travelers.

The Grand Mark Prague is a fancy hotel with great service. The staff are caring and attentive, and they make sure that everything is perfect for their guests. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, and the views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a truly luxurious and relaxing experience.

Another wonderful stay in Prague's exquisite hotel. We have stayed at this property every year for the past 3 years and it is as always a fantastic experience. This year we stayed 60 days at the Grand Mark and we sadly must depart Prague today to return to our home in France. The staff in all departments have been a pleasure to deal with. They all have been so wonderful to me and my wife. We will no doubt return next year.

They stay was excellent, we got upgraded to a suite at our arrival which is very luxurious. The service and the food is great. There is a very nice employee by the name of Billel that took great care of us and our needs. From recommendations to putting everything to our disposal for ultimate comfort. Thank you Billel , thank you to the rest of the staff.

Don't fall for the propaganda by this hotel. Their marketing is that they're a fantastic luxury hotel but in reality there are a hotel that lost an affiliation with a luxury brand that is just holding on to the coattails making people believe that it is a luxurious experience. The check-in area is small and they check in staff is rude and incompetent. They leave a list of everyone's name and room number at the front door so anyone walking by on the street can read it. For an international hotel in a large tourist market most of the staff's English language skills arefor an international hotel in a large tourist market most of the staff's English language skills are bad. Don't waste your money don't convince yourself that this is luxury it is not.

Everything you need when visiting Prague - ideal location with easy walk to main attractions, as well as hailing a cab or Uber for further destinations. The Grand Mark has everything to make your stay relaxing … spa, gym, great rooms and food, and an incredible staff.

What a wonderful experience it has been these past 4 nights. As soon as we checked in we knew it was going to be great. The front desk ladies greeted us with a smile and made check in process extremely easy. We stumbled on the hotel restaurant called The Grill and since we were hungry, we decided to eat here. The restaurant is a Michelin Star and the food was amazing. But what made it even better was Miroslav, the waiter who took care of us that night and several other nights with drinks. Everything he recommended was superb and even when he was not our server he went out of his way to greet us and make sure our experience at the hotel was great. The breakfast staff, the front desk, the concierge, the room ladies and the doorman were all gracious and everyone greeted you with a smile. This is a must stay and a wonderful experience.
