🫤 As a portuguese, I'm really dissapointed. The food didn't taste portuguese. The Salada de Polvo was a joke. The prices are way to high. The waitresses weren't friendly and it seemed like they don't want to have us there. Only positive thing is the atmosphere. I found it incredible. Modern but simple... People often mention Portuguese, good, wine, tapas, Prague, service, nice, great, atmosphere, Portugal,

As a portuguese, I'm really dissapointed. The food didn't taste portuguese. The Salada de Polvo was a joke. The prices are way to high. The waitresses weren't friendly and it seemed like they don't want to have us there. Only positive thing is the atmosphere. I found it incredible. Modern but simple, clean and aesthetic, typical portuguese stuff like Wine and Azulejos. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend it.

Exceptional! I liked everything about this place. 1) You can buy ingredients for Portuguese foods such as bacalhau, which is otherwise very hard to get in Prague. 2) The meals are only very lightly salted. Some might consider this a bad thing but I love it. When I eat out in Prague, I always have problem with excessive saltiness, which was not the case here. 3) The meals are absolutely delicious. We had 3 tapas, 1 soup and one complimentary side dish and we loved each and every one of them. 4) Staff is nice and friendly. 5) They had no issue to cater for special diets and food allergies. Which proves that the meals are freshly made and not just reheated. 6) Nice outside seating in lovely Vinohrady street.

The place is great for bigger groups. I liked the wine that I had very much and I also liked the relaxed atmosphere. When you visit the place, pay attention to small decorations inside, such as the map on the wall. It's possible to buy some products to take away, and also possible to pay with a card.

Cosy, genuine portuguese place with great food and wine selection. Plenty of vegetarian options, mains as well as just nibbles. Will definitely come again!

Cannot begin to describe how amazing the food was. Everything we tried was delicious, we couldn’t get enough. The carpaccio was great, first time I ever enjoyed a carpaccio. The bacalao dish was exquisite, the octopus was very good, the cheeses, the refreshing “green” wine. The pastel de nata was good too. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

Nice place, comfortable and cozy interior. Friendly stuff. The wine is excellent, the food is nice, but i think a teeny-tiny bit overpriced. I loved the cheese & meat platter and the yummy jams! They do the octopus very well!

Excellent experience, find I was home as soon as I entered the restaurant. The food,....wonderful. The exact taste I was looking for better than expected. Over all, perfect.

Unfortunately, not enough vegetarian food options and tapas selection is very primitive. However their pastel de nata is worth coming for!

(Translated by Google) Great atmosphere, cozy place, a large selection of Portuguese wines. Portuguese music is often played, including their famous fado. Friendly service and incredibly delicious food. We ordered a second round of the pasteis de bacalhau. Will have to go back for the codfish as they were sold out when we were there.

The food and service are very good. The only negative is that it can be a bit overpriced, in my opinion. I still recommend since its the only Portuguese restaurant in prague. Also great variety of wines!

  • 3/5 Paula C. 1 year ago on Google
Overpriced and not varied or appropriately representative of Portuguese cuisine. When we arrived (after walking a long way in the heat to get there) half of the (very limited) menu was not available :/ Obviously we left and then had some difficulty finding a good place to dine at and landed up walking quite a bit again to our initial spot 😔

Not the best place but has something nice. Staff is quite slow, food is quite expensive, wine is absolutely great. But still, we like to go there.

  • 3/5 Adam K. 1 year ago on Google
Food quite overpriced due to the quality. Fish was delicious but the "traditional" Portuguese meal was not so good. The smoked Chorizo was neither good and tasted like regular sausage. Although atmosphere was great and service was really nice.

Excellent wine and tapas - and they are not trying to make extra profits from inflation -an honestly good place to chill out with good wine and food!

This cute little Portuguese tapas bar is a little out of the way but boy is it tasty! The service is warm and friendly, English menus are available, aesthetic is rustic/homely and having been to Portugal, it’s food tastes authentic and delicious. It’s great for either a quick drink or a dinner and I have taken multiple friends here now who have all loved it!

Small piece of Portugal in Prague. Portugese wine, tapas, pasteis de nata, tremocos or delta coffe. Check their social media to know about some music events. Sadly and understandably, prices are a bit higher than average.

  • 3/5 Георги . 4 years ago on Google
Service was not good and the atmosphere a bit depressing. The wine is good 😊 Expesive but the sea food tasted good. Tapas was nothing special

  • 2/5 Chris R. 4 years ago on Google
Service was terrible, waiters did not speak Portuguese. Some good wine selections and decent tapas (as a Portuguese I know tapas is recognized, but why not use our word petisco?), but nothing that made me want to go back any time soon. I enjoyed seeing they have tremoços and I heard Portuguese people there. But I would say if you aren't Portuguese and in Prague and you're curious, this place works. For me it wasn't enough but I'm glad it exists.

Was hoping for a lot better. The ambience is quite lovely, but the menu is not very exciting, service very slow, and price somewhat high. Wine selection is excellent, if only there was better food to match it. Egg tarts are great, but expensive.

This place closed after 11pm. And the official closing time was 10pm, but the personal never mentioned it. We were quite happy with the wine, the service and the extra hour to enjoy and chat. They had life music as well.

Edited 2 years after: from 3 to 2 stars I gave this place another try two years after...I had the Francesinha, one of my favorite portuguese dishes and Im disappointed. The bread was low quality, no "fresh" sausage (salsicha fresca) or mortadella. Just a bun with a steak, slices of normal ham and sausage... the sauce was nothing special and overly salty fries. =========================== The food options are not enough and happened twice that some of the different "croquetes" were sold out. I expect a bit more from the only Portuguese place in Prague.7

(Translated by Google) Visiting Prague and nothing better than a Portuguese restaurant to satisfy our mid-afternoon wishes. Very good tapas accompanied by the best beer in the world. Be it for the space itself, as for the quality of the products presented, I strongly recommend it! (Original) De visita a Praga e nada melhor que um restaurante português para saciar os nossos desejos a meio da tarde. Tapas bastante boas acompanhadas pela melhor cerveja do mundo. Very nice and pleasant place. Ideal for having a glass of wine and some high quality snack. The food is very tasty, but rather expensive compared to the portion sizes which are relatively small. The sangria is amazing! I highly recommend ordering it on a warm summer day. The concept of the place is tapas, so most dishes are intended for sharing and definitely picking more than one. Sometimes there is live music inside, which is nice and pleasant, and not too loud so you can still keep a conversation while they play.

(Translated by Google) I was here after 3, maybe 4 years. I must say with regret that, in my opinion, the level has fallen. The service was pleasant, but both pastel de nata and salty tapas were not ready-made on site. And it was recognizable.

(Translated by Google) Well, it could be much better, but the pastell is expected to be imported from Portugal and here somehow finished and thus with other items on the menu, the staff is not excited, but the environment is nice, coffee ok.

Oliveira is a blessing in Prague. Great wine, fish, coffee and those hard-to-find Portuguese tarts! The design of the place is so special, you'd wind up spending time (more than you'd thought) there in your mellow Portuguese dream.
