I called to get some information on if it was safe for dogs to eat raw potatoes. Unfortunately my dog ate one this morning and wasn't feeling right. I looked up info online and was seeing conflicting information so I thought I would contact a vet. They informed me that since my dog had not been seen with them before that they could not tell me whether or not potatoes were poisonous to dogs. Clearly they only care about getting money from people for appointments and not helping pet owners take care of their animals.

If I could give this establishment a 0 star rating, I would. After waiting for about and hour with our anxious dog for simple pre-spay blood work, we left. Our dog was anxious waiting in the room, and no doctor ever came after we kept checking in an getting the ignorant response of “just a minute!” My dog and I will NEVER be returning to this place, ESPECIALLY not for a spay surgery. The staff was rude, disorganized, and completely disinterested in the well-being of our dog. Do not bring your pet here.

My dog has been coming here for her healthcare and her grooming since I adopted her 6 years ago. In my 50 years of owning dogs and cats, this is by far the best vet's office I have ever had. Highly recommend! Update Oct 2023: Still the best vet practice in Johnson County! I love their grooming services too!

We have been taking our dogs here for the past couple years, but will never return after our last visit. We brought in our one year old aussiedoodle for diarrhea and vomiting and ended up leaving with a 400$ vet bill. The doctor blew his symptoms out of proportion and was acting like he had been sick for a week when it had only been a few hours. After paying this extremely high bill my dog’s health hasn’t improved and they are trying to charge me another $100 for another office visit since they couldn’t get it right the first time. The staff is also very rude and it appears that they do not care about the well-being of our dog. Please do not bring your dog here!!!! Would give you zero stars if I could. Shame on you.

My family, parents, grandparents, and I have been taking our pets to Prarie Village Animal Hospital ever since it opened by it's founder Dr. George Gates,, DVM. He later took on Dr. Mark Daly, DVM. I have always been appreciative of their care and compassion for all of my pets throughout the years.

My wife and I have taken our 2 year old Australian Shepherd here since he joined our family. The staff is courteous and kind while also being extremely helpful. Our dog is the first dog either of us have owned and the staff at PVAH have really helped us during our initial learning curve. The inability to make appointments did make us nervous at first, but it has never been an issue. In general, the longest we’ve ever waited to be seen is about 15 minutes. I’d highly recommend this team and will trust them with a member of our family.

Best veterinarian place I have been to. I will never go anyplace else. Kind and caring and take the time to get to know you and your pet. Mark Daly was the best.Luther thanks the same

Been going to these guys for years. They have friendly staff who've. They are always polite & the place is clean. They don't take appointments, but I've never had to wait very long to see the vet. Even when I've specified to see a certain one. One of my dogs can be hard to win over & they've done a good job to make her feel comfortable during the visit.

Dr. Daly is the best. My family has purchased four dogs from his stores over the years, and they have all been perfect. His staff is so sweet and he and his staff always seem like they are genuinely excited to see my dogs.

Dr Daly is phenomenal and has been taking care of our fur babies for over a decade. The front desk is always incredibly nice and welcoming when we come in the door. They really care about our animals and the wellbeing of them. Highly recommend!!

Took my girl in bleeding..for her right in. I was a mess Dr was super nice completely honest ... And all is well!
